Hi Freddy - Thank you for sharing that touching story about your Dad. My Dad passed away 10 years ago and listening to your story reminded me of all the amazing road trips we took together in his custom Ford Conversion van. I'd do anything to find that van, but I assume it's probably been destroyed by now. Fun fact, my Dad drove a Mitsubishi in the movie Cannon Ball Run 2. I was around 5 years old when they filmed the movie, and I still remember all the amazing vehicles they had on set (especially the original Big Foot Monster Truck!).
My dad also passed away 5 years ago and his video served as a good reminder of all the great times we’ve had together. For me it was when he taught me how to drive from time to time as well as all the long family trips we used to have. Life isn’t nearly the same without him. Rip 💔

My brother, I’m neither you. I told my dad 3 days before he died that I would be happy to be half the man he was. He died completely unexpectedly, and all I hope is I’m not too far off, but I’ll never know. Good luck to you. And to those lucky enough to have their dads, cherish it.

I cannot just read your comment and say nothing. I want to ask if you're ok but I know the answer. UA-cam has been a great outlet for me to escape life and as sad as that sounds, it makes me forget about trauma I've been through. I hope these videos help you to escape your every day chaos and help to inspire just an ounce of positivity to keep going and stare everything bad in the face and say you're not done. From the UK I'm thinking of you and your tough path and will keep you in my thoughts .stay strong , you're not done . All the best, Stephen
That story of your dad made me shed a tear fr. Older immigrants parents often have the stereotype of not always showing their approval and I know that personally; so I can feel how much it meant to you too. ❤
I'm glad you showed how much of a nightmare vinyl wraps (and PPF) can be... a lot of UA-camrs think it's so awesome and easy to deal with... no, it's not, years down the road is a massive undertaking to remove it.
I agree with this 100% . Everyone says it's " Cheaper " sure it's cheaper initially but I wouldn't want to know the labour bill for 4 or 5 guys working on removing wrap / glue for almost a week straight then having to paint the damages from the wrap and then paint correction . No way it's cheaper in the long run . There's a time and a place for wraps like SEMA builds or B is for Build will sometimes temporarily wrap and drive it to work out the kinks for a while before they paint it , but it is getting sanded and such afterwards and that's where it makes sense to buy yourself time before you paint it .
The story of your dad struck home. My parents brought my twin brother and me from Italy when we were one and one-half years old. We lived in a fifth floor tenement walkup in lower Manhattan. Both my mom and dad worked 6 days/week all the time we were growing up. Most of the time my dad worked two jobs to make ends meet. He never complained once about the eighteen hour work days. He instilled into his sons the work ethic that I think led to my brother and mine's success in life. We both graduated from MIT and went on to become orthopedic surgeons, working together for over 32 years. I am grateful that he lived long enough to see his sons achievements. I am retired now and I think fondly of my dad every day. Keep up the great work you do on your channel and congratulation on yours success. I am certain your father would have been very proud of what you have achieved in your life.
That wrap made it look like a honda civic all pimped out, leaking oil and misfiring as it drives past. Nice save Freddy, that beauty deserves it for sure.
This Aston has become a symbol of car UA-cam at this point. From the iconic Doug DeMuro videos back in the day, to you getting it. Other projects come and go, but the Aston is forever!
Freddy, I just wanted to say thank you for the fire content, I just finished the mclaren p1 series and what you’re doing is just incredible. The builds are insane the video quality is like a movie and you and your shop mates are awesome to watch. Super talented and entertaining. Keep up the great work!! Going to be binging every other series you’ve done while I wait for you to finish the next part of the p1 series 🫡
Me too. Veyrons make no sense to me. Not attractive. Heavy. Outrageous maintenance. Performance that will never be used on the road. Yeah they’re technologically interesting but ultimately they leave me cold. Later Bugattis got better looking.

I had a not so similar road trip with my father before he passed. It wasn't an Aston from PA to FL, but a submarine from Norfolk to Port Canaveral. He went underway with us for the 3 day journey, seeing maneuvers, damage control exercises, and lived a submariners life. It was so special to share that with him, and have a couple of days in port at Cocoa Beach. You'll cherish that time spent your entire life. Great video, glad to see the car return home to you. Looking forward to the upcoming videos!
Love this video!!!! So great to hear the bonding with your dad! Unfortunately my dad passed away years ago and I have had some cars since I know he would have loved! Cherish the time with your dad! He appreciates it more than you know!! You are a great son for appreciating him the way you do!
This video feels so nostalgic. I started watching your videos since the Vantage and it feels like a full circle. Seeing this car in the same garage as a P1 rn makes me so proud. Onwards and upwards brother🚀
31:17 says it all, Freddie -- be proud of your family's accomplishments, your personal accomplishments and the pride you exhibited when you told that beautiful story but know this: WE are proud of you, WE are thankful for your enthusiasm and honesty in letting us come along on the various automotive adventures you've taken this particular Aston Martin example is a gem: classy, elegant, exciting -- and that sound! glorious! yes, exactly! he already told us he needs to keep this car for his daughter. and even more importantly to keep reminding him of his past and good memories. he should listen to himself! take good care of it, take it out for a drive once in a while. and he has plenty of other cars to have fun modding. this is a keeper.
Few tips from Freddy here. Never Forget where you Came From. Always Respect what others have done for you. And never be Disrespectful to Anyone on your Way Up or on the Way Down. And always pass it on to your Children and there Children. With those few things we may actually survive as Human Beings. Then when it comes the end we can have a final think and say. That wasnt to Bad and i did my Best.
Freddy you articulated something I think many of us feel - that cars go beyond being transport. They create meaningful memories with loved ones, bring communities of people together and offer incredible experiences. Thanks for sharing your story, I have so many happy memories of chasing rally cars across Wales with my Dad in his 306 diesel estate (and sleeping in the back!) to driving to Le Man with a group of enthusiast friends in our stickered up cars. Keep going!
Hey Tavarish.. I detailed this car back in like 2017 when Greg owned it (he’s a great friend of mine still) This car made my dad fall in love with the V8 Vantage even more after taking this exact car for a spin around the block. This car is just incredible. Very cool to see it return back
I'm so glad that this car is back in your collection and that I got the chance to be part of this journey, even if only as a steward for the car for a year or two. Sorry about the wrap! I loved the color, but man that looked like such a pain to get off. Next time, I'll be painting something.
Bro, I'm with you, various whites or metallic silvers for any vehicle deprive the retinal color sensitive cones of critical stimulation and excitement for a car of any type. For me it's an actual bummer like someone just doesn't get it, boring ass "color". Bystander here, don't care if it was a wrap and preferred something other than nothing.
03:18 Based on US rates of inflation, for the car to be worth the same value as the 36k you paid in 2010, it would actually have cost you about 52k to buy back today. 36k today is equivalent to 24.8k in 2010.
Freddy , never go on a diet to become a skinny guy your body wont be able to house your amazing and massive heart.❤ You just always put back into everything and everyone around you. Your circle of friends and family are truly blessed🫡
Bro, this is literally the first video of you that I honestly could feel every sec of your passion och ambition intertwining with your eternal vision. Your living the life, don't forget to relax.. Drive safe and keep aiming into oblivion, looking forward til your next drop. Love from Egypt
I love this generation of V8 Vantage. The design is so pure. I love this car much more than the P1. I love the sound, and the fact it has a proper manual trans. It's So very cool. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.
What a car! and what a wonderful story about your Dad. Lost my dad this year but have some great memories of being in his truck with him driving around the uk.
I have an 08 Vantage that just ticked 90,000 miles -- looks and runs perfect. Mine was built by Mick Moten too -- fun fact, he's actually on Linkedin, I think he worked for Multimatic after Aston but is retired now. These are fantastic cars, very low maintenance, but when something does go wrong it gets expensive fast. Still, wouldn't sell mine for the world, its my favorite car.
Its like that one girl you liked in high school suddenly sending you a friend request and message outta the blue saying you want to get coffee or something?
The post 2000s Aston’s vantage has always been a car that I’ve wanted. I remember when ford started making similar grills and I’d have to do a double take for a few months when I saw one in the mirror 😂. I was never a James Bond fan but seeing them on Top Gear and Entourage is when I fell in love.
What a great video Freddie. Thanks for sharing your personal story. I am about to embark on my own roadtrip with my own Father albeit in a rented Range Rover, but now he is 80+ years old, I am not sure how many more roadtrips we will get to enjoy together. Thanks for reminding us all what’s important in life.
Well Freddie you got my eyes sweating for a second there. Feeling and knowing your dad is proud of you whether on this plane or another is integral in truly finding peace with one’s own place in the world.
The camera quality of the video is IMMACULATE. Whatever yall did. Do it more. Plus Such nostalgia from this video Glad to see it radiate through you Mr tavarish
Tavarish i watch your videos once in a while and i truly like how genuine you are. I also came from nothing, never thought i could do it and today i own few exotics… Your definition of Family its very important and it’s important to have it so life has a meaning. If you want one of these days we share our cars pics. By the way i have some unicorns you like ;)
Great story, I never got to share mine with my dad, although I did some of my earlier cars. I have had 3 of this VH era Vantage an original one like yours then a V12S and now a V8S, have driven nothing else now for a decade. Awesome cars sound, reliable and people love them. The brand makes people happy.
You kind sir are the epitome of kind hearted gentleman. What you do makes so so many smile and to know your deep feelings on certain cars. Just what this world needs. Good job Freddie. X
The story about your dad and the road trip is awesome! Cherish that memory and time together forever my friend! Thanks for sharing. I know that’s not the easiest thing to talk about to people you don’t even know.
28:57 - 31:22 The way the story was building up to this point and then suddenly the shift in mood and piano music, I was convinced it was heading for Freddy telling how it was the last time he spend time with his dad before he passed away or something but I'm really glad I was wrong. Knowing first hand how much losing a parent impacts life, it was really good to hear the story turned out to be a nice one about a cherished memory of father and son spending valuable time together.
Great story in the end. It actually made my eyes a litlle wet. We are immigrants from Czech Republic, came here 30 years ago and went throug struggles, still trying to save our business after covid disaster and it's 28 years history. We have two boys, 8 and 12 years old. Doing our best to raise them well together with stories like your dad has been probably telling you. Seeing you in that seat behind the wheel, honestly I would be proud of you.
Love that story Freddy! Thanks to Autotempest I found an amazing deal on my 2020 CLA 35 AMG this last year clear across the country! Long story short me and the girlfriend road tripped it back to Utah from Long Island and stopped in Pittsburgh on the way back. Two months ago we ended up buying a home up here. By far our most favorite memory! Thank you Freddy and thanks Autotempest for helping us make the memories!
I just purchased a 6 speed manuel 4.3L Vantage after watching every possible youtub video online. Love the car its very raw and brutal to drive. Sorting some issues with the tail/head lights but look forward to putting many miles on it! They deff dont like the rain/wet.
bro, my family immigrated from the former Soviet Union as well when I was 3 years old resonated with your story deeply. what a beautiful piece of engineering, so much more than a car. blessings to you brother!
Watching your videos just does it for me every single time. No exception, every single time! It's so awesome to see the interactions between you, your friends and the car! Thanks for letting us all be part of that!!!!
Great father story. I had a similar occasion with my dad. We were fishing in Wisconsin for muskys. And the last night we were fishing, full moon and he said it was time to go in. I took one more cast toward the moon and a huge female musky hit the surface bait and came out of the water and threw the plug. I expressed my disappointment. My father said "Vince it's ok, just to see these magnificent fish is a real treat.". 3 months later he passed, but will never forget that time. It's etched in my mind forever. Thanks sir.
gr8 car, & even better reasons for getting it back.. also very cool the sky starting tearing up at the very same time as you were about your dad.. 2 days ago was the 3yr anniversary of my dad passing, & i'd give literally everything to take a roadtrip with him again -- so i'd advise everyone taking the chance to do the same, b4 it's too late.. cheers
Freddy, thank you for sharing your story about your father. I had a road trip similar to mine. My father purchased a German-spec 1991 BMW 850i in Edmonton, AB. He and I flew out and drove it about 4,000km back to Toronto in four days, having the most epic adventure in that car. He drove that car daily for years in the summer and still has it to this day. She is getting tired, but one day, I hope to restore it and have an epic adventure with my daughters. Keep up the excellent work.
Well done sir, great story line! I envy people like you and Mat Armstrong and John Ross for getting to spend quality time with your dad as I lost mine when I was 12. It was a long time ago now but I still do wonder what I didn’t learn.😀👍🏼👍🏼
Freddy, you're such a good dude. It's awesome to hear those stories about our immigrant parents. It's hard to get them to open up about why they came here or how bad things actually were back in their country. I think a lot of it is they still love where they grew up and don't want us to think bad about it because of the memories they had, despite how bad the conditions might have been for them. There's also a lot of luck/guilt and other feelings I think they have had to deal with bc they left, which plays into that nose down, grind it out mentality, I think so many of us grew up around. There's no doubt in my mind that your dad has so much love for you and is so super proud of you. This is the American dream many people and families are fighting to get here for, create their own opportunity so the Tavarish's of the world can thrive, be successful, pay it forward, and lift everyone up. Keep up the good work! We love you, Freddy!
Hi Tavarish, it has been a while since I subscribed to your channel and although I know absolutely nothing about cars or mechanics, I am always mesmerised by the knowledge and courage you guys are showing. This is an absolutely beautiful car. It is personal, but I much prefer it to your P1... Please don't sell it. Make it really yours forever. Thanks for the great videos :)
I watch every episode you post and have followed your journey with heavy heart as of late. Watching you come full circle almost made a guys guy cry. In my house we all have so much love for you T! Congrats!
I’ve been passionate about cars since I was a kid and right now I’m studying mechatronics engineering in hopes that one day I work in the designing of exotic sports cars. Your videos really help me learn more and more about how cars work in an entertaining way and I’m very thankful to have stumbled upon your channel. Keep up the great work! ❤️❤️❤️
I love this car! Mine is the color of your wrap and is about to hit 100k miles. If your hood latch switch starts acting up again, it's actually a Land Rover part LR041431. I get all my parts and diagrams from Scuderiaparts but 9 times out of 10 Aston just reuses a Ford or Jaguar part (spark plugs, injectors, thermostat, etc), so I've made a nerdy spreadsheet of all the cross-referenced parts I've found over the years that I can email you if you're interested (Fuel Pump + Fuel Filter from Aston is $1300, but from the OEM it's $250, for example). Glad to see the car is back!
Thanks for sharing the story of why this car means so much to you. It is so great to see. It could have been an old Maverick but when it has that kind of story that is what transcends how many cubic inches the engine has. GREAT STUFF!
Yep. If your story doesn't inspire people, I don't know what could. I certainly feel it, Fred. Thank you for years of excellent content and here's to many more years. And thank you in general for being awesome. Mad respect for you and your whole family.
screw a v12 engine swap! get all the aero, get a chrome delete, get the white/silver rear lights instead of red, paint it white with flakes or sparkle and get that interior changed especially that roof lining! Then you would have a beautiful car! But get it done soon before DDE beats you to the punch since they now have an Aston and they start modding it on there channel 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing your story, I lost my dad few weeks back and unfortunately I had not spoken with him for ages and had this anger in me and he passed before I could say sorry to him and make peace … and is something I’ll never be able to do and have this guilt on me for ever…. Love your work , your videos always helps me to smile and believe I can make my life better and just need to work hard for it or as you say “wrench every day “
I feel the pain of this one! 15:51 I removed the 8 year old PPF from my GS350 recently. I spent soooooo much time with a steamer and a bottle of alcohol. 😮💨 That was a JOB! I'm glad it wasn't an entire wrap. I might've just given up halfway through. 😂
Brother I ain't gonna lie. All these years I thought you was a Puerto Rican with an ethnic name that didn't fit Latinos. But that whole origin story had me rooting for you even more then ever. It seemed so genuine and heart felt and inspirational. Been following your channel since the MR2 cause I had one back in 02. Big fan here bud
This video has exceptional camera work, props to your videographer! Awesome story! I can totally relate, would love to buy back my old supra I sold 15 years ago.
I completely understand. I lost my father a few years ago and got to do a short road trip with him and he’s the reason I start my Mobile detailing service after the military. I have his 07 Yukon and have been keeping it on the road because he bought it to take the grandkids on road trips and I try to keep the dream alive
A lot of people don't realize how much a car can mean, whether it's your dream car and you've had to work hard for it, or it gives you memories of the past, I'm still glad that there are people who don't just think that a car is metal but can really mean something
Rather see Tavarish doing videos in a great mental state than not.
Saaaame
Really? That's weird... I'd rather see him in a bad mental state.

Congrats! I just bought my first Vantage a week ago. Absolutely love it even with it's flaws. Sometimes I just go out into the garage and stair at it.
Congratulations on the new ride, mate! Drive safe and make every mile count.
Congrats! Is the car kept downstares?
@@tommyfreckmann6857 I see what you did there :p
@@tommyfreckmann6857 oops, Lol yes spelling has never been my strength.
Hey Tavarish.. I detailed this car back in like 2017 when Greg owned it (he’s a great friend of mine still)
This car made my dad fall in love with the V8 Vantage even more after taking this exact car for a spin around the block.
The ending of this where you speak about your dad and daughter made me tear up. I get it bro. Keep up the great work. Big up from the UK!
This is the content we all need right now. We all have that one or two cars we wish we never sold - nice job Freddie.
03:18 Based on US rates of inflation, for the car to be worth the same value as the 36k you paid in 2010, it would actually have cost you about 52k to buy back today. 36k today is equivalent to 24.8k in 2010.
Abolish the Fed!
UMM ACHHHHSUALLYY
That feeling 31:55 slapping the steering wheel, that bond is irreplaceable.
Freddy , never go on a diet to become a skinny guy your body wont be able to house your amazing and massive heart.❤ You just always put back into everything and everyone around you. Your circle of friends and family are truly blessed🫡
Cant hate on freddie. Guy is such as friendly and kind guy. Wish you the best and WHAT A CAR🔥🔥
Dude, that peice to camera about your family and the emotional attachment to this car would make Clarkson proud :D heir to the throne?
Bro, this is literally the first video of you that I honestly could feel every sec of your passion och ambition intertwining with your eternal vision. Your living the life, don't forget to relax.. Drive safe and keep aiming into oblivion, looking forward til your next drop. Love from Egypt
I love this generation of V8 Vantage. The design is so pure. I love this car much more than the P1. I love the sound, and the fact it has a proper manual trans. It's So very cool. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.
watching from Kenya...lots of love Tavarish
im from uganda bro🤝🤝
Ooh we're many from Kenya
What a car! and what a wonderful story about your Dad.
So happy to see the vantage back at home! You inspired me and I was finally able to buy one a few years ago. I hope we'll see it again on the channel!
Its like that one girl you liked in high school suddenly sending you a friend request and message outta the blue saying you want to get coffee or something?
lol how bold of you to assume that tavarish's audience has friends or relationships
Every girl I wanted, wanted me so I can't relate. I pretty much got every girl I wanted.
@@Sin-1098 right, and whenever it didnt work out, you just say you ''didnt want them anyways''. clever
@@Sin-1098 im pressing X to doubt on that one
"Now I'm ready to settle..."
Say no to 304s.
Extra points for Meshuggah
Followed by Eddie Murphy...
you beat me to it. Hearing bleed caught me off guard lmao
BLEED
Tavarish has guitar collection, he is indeed a metal bro 🤘🏻
What a great video Freddie. Thanks for sharing your personal story. I am about to embark on my own roadtrip with my own Father albeit in a rented Range Rover, but now he is 80+ years old, I am not sure how many more roadtrips we will get to enjoy together. Thanks for reminding us all what’s important in life.
That's what I get for cutting onions while watching a Tavarish video.
Well Freddie you got my eyes sweating for a second there. Feeling and knowing your dad is proud of you whether on this plane or another is integral in truly finding peace with one’s own place in the world.
Bumper-to-bumper legend? Best regards from Serbia!
Freddie, you have a gigantic heart and the soul to touch other people in no ways no one can describe!! Love ya brother
Nice driving into the sunset behind the Spyker!
The camera quality of the video is IMMACULATE.
Whatever yall did.
Do it more.

Such nostalgia from this video
Glad to see it radiate through you Mr tavarish
Thanks for sharing. Not only is the immigrant story an important part of American history, it is integral to it's greatness.
Tavarish i watch your videos once in a while and i truly like how genuine you are. I also came from nothing, never thought i could do it and today i own few exotics…
Your definition of Family its very important and it’s important to have it so life has a meaning. If you want one of these days we share our cars pics. By the way i have some unicorns you like ;)
21:18 this is a proper bruh moment
Thanks ✨
The part about your road trip with your dad was awesome! Best of luck always. I have been a huge fan of your content. God bless
Thumbs up for Meshugah - Bleed.
Didn't expect the Meshuggah feature but it was a welcome surprise.
You kind sir are the epitome of kind hearted gentleman.
What you do makes so so many smile and to know your deep feelings on certain cars. Just what this world needs.
Good job Freddie. X
looking good , I think James Bond wants his car back .
The story about your dad and the road trip is awesome! Cherish that memory and time together forever my friend! Thanks for sharing. I know that’s not the easiest thing to talk about to people you don’t even know.
was that a spyker in front of you at 8:22 ?
Yessir that’s Ed’s. It was missy elliots old Spyker
I was just about to write the same comment 😂
Was just about to comment the same thing. Lol
Wow 😲 fast second upload
Great story in the end. It actually made my eyes a litlle wet. We are immigrants from Czech Republic, came here 30 years ago and went throug struggles, still trying to save our business after covid disaster and it's 28 years history. We have two boys, 8 and 12 years old. Doing our best to raise them well together with stories like your dad has been probably telling you. Seeing you in that seat behind the wheel, honestly I would be proud of you.
Still waiting for the manual swap on the mercedes :)
sometime before GTA 7

Damn, I COMPLETELY forgot about that one. Probably the build I've been anticipating the most.
That's such a great story! I really love the idea that we were part of making that happen. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Now the name Tavarish makes sense.
Give the car to your dad ❤
I just purchased a 6 speed manuel 4.3L Vantage after watching every possible youtub video online. Love the car its very raw and brutal to drive. Sorting some issues with the tail/head lights but look forward to putting many miles on it! They deff dont like the rain/wet.
SHES BACK
bro, my family immigrated from the former Soviet Union as well when I was 3 years old resonated with your story deeply. what a beautiful piece of engineering, so much more than a car. blessings to you brother!
29:47 the background music was disappointing. No need for it.
Freddy, been a fan since you started installing those red/black garage cabinets!
You are the OG-car UA-camr! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸 Never stop! 👊😎
Thank you Freddy! Its so good to see you happy.stay blessed friend
One of the best videos I have seen you do. It's such a good looking car. Much better in silver.
One of my favorite cars….love the story…
I watch every episode you post and have followed your journey with heavy heart as of late. Watching you come full circle almost made a guys guy cry. In my house we all have so much love for you T! Congrats!
I’ve been passionate about cars since I was a kid and right now I’m studying mechatronics engineering in hopes that one day I work in the designing of exotic sports cars. Your videos really help me learn more and more about how cars work in an entertaining way and I’m very thankful to have stumbled upon your channel. Keep up the great work! ❤️❤️❤️
Love that you finally got it back and those moments and stories with your dad is something money can’t buy. So good!
I would not mind having that spreadsheet as well mate ! 👀🙏
Thanks for sharing the story of why this car means so much to you. It is so great to see. It could have been an old Maverick but when it has that kind of story that is what transcends how many cubic inches the engine has. GREAT STUFF!
Wow, Freddie - that smile, thank you for sharing that amazing story of you and your father! You have a lot to be proud of. Congratulations!
What a great car! Love to own one myself.
You are a really good person. Dios te bendiga siempre….
A lot of people don't realize how much a car can mean, whether it's your dream car and you've had to work hard for it, or it gives you memories of the past, I'm still glad that there are people who don't just think that a car is metal but can really mean something
