I love how they take fluids that are of the same spec you can get off the shelf, they throw a Bugatti label on it and charge 10x or the amount. Hypercar problems I guess.
Just guessing but I bet its like the bespoke tires. Bugatti comes up with an off the wall size with a custom compound. The tire manufacture makes them as a halo product but charge for every hour of R&D and inefficient manufacturing. With only 450 cars built that's not very many tires for Michelin to do a production run of. IF they made four sets of tires for every car its only 5,400 tires. I looked it up and they average 37,500 tires a day out of one US facility. The fluids would be similar. Any additive they add or tweak the percentage of is going to cost them plenty. Make it a dealer only product and the price is going to sky rocket.
You'll get ripped off to the tune of a few hundred dollars by a fellow American small business owner hoarding NOS parts, rather than ripped off $100K's by VW for overpriced supplies and electronic modules no better than what's already failed. From someone that follows you since the Mercedes 300D times, way before the Wizard even, congratulations 🎉👏.
You really deserve it. Be happy and enjoy.
And btw let me tell you that Jake was the best improvement ever in the channel, the quality of the videos went to top cinematographic mode for sure.
Have fun
The quality of the camera work and editing at the end was trippy to watch. Really did feel like the game.
A very rich mans toy when a tune up and repairs cost sixty thousand dollars. The definition of automotive insanity.
Imagine that once per year you can pretty much buy a pretty nice new car, just to have your toy serviced.
Loved that ending. I spent many many hours in Forza 4. Congrats Tyler; what an incredible thing you’re getting to experience!
typical Volkswagen, always has a check engine light on
I would rather have a check engine light on a million dollar car than possibly blow it up….it cost like $30 for a scan tool…
Yes. Even Penny's VW on The Big Bang Theory had that light. Used to drive Sheldon crazy. Of course, art imitates life, and life imitates television.

Of course this type of cars are not meant for salary earners because salary job is just like modern slavery. You work for 8 years and you couldn't buy a car

You work for 8 years and you couldn't buy a car while some people are just investing little coin in the stock market and they're making millions of dollars.
Stock investment has been the most lucrative way to make money and succeed in today's world, no doubt.
Remember when you used to complain to the wizard about a $1,200 repair years ago? I’ve been watching since the beginning and the only thing that has changed has been the amount of the repair costs. 😮❤
I was anxious about having to book our 2014 Honda Odyssey in for a timing belt service, but after watching this, I don't feel bad at all. I will still do the oil change, tire rotation, and brake and suspension inspections myself to save a few hundred dollars.
and you'll learn something in the process too
That's where I'm at too. I'll do brakes, suspension, tie rod type stuff, but most of the other things, take it to a shop.

Your Veyron looks so much nicer than Ed’s tacky ass red one too.
I think you should keep the HREs as opposed to running the stock wheels, just cause of the cost associated with the stock wheel and tire setup and the HREs look waaaaaayy better

Yeah, the OEM Veyron wheels are pretty ugly
Totally agree
But with those he can't drive it at max speed. 😜 Who wants a Veyron that's not capable of hitting 270mph

I love how they take fluids that are of the same spec you can get off the shelf, they throw a Bugatti label on it and charge 10x or the amount. Hypercar problems I guess.
That $53 per quart of synthetic motor oil is insane.
"Each quart of oil is personally blessed by the Pope and delivered to your door by a man in a suit."
@@davidh7339 $644.52 for each unit of Brake Fluid is much worse. $2578.08 when it's almost certainly a decent DOT4 or DOT5.1 fluid.

I've done many types of work. The common phrase is "More dollars, less sense" If you can afford it, I get it, but this doesn't chime when you complain about the cost.
