I been training for like 20 years but for last 3 I started to understand how to train more smart but I still have problems whit whit the the reps range & set per body part. I will like to know what is good on rep & sets in prep & off season so I keep having quality muscle.
Hey Doc, do the lats get a better contraction when you force thoracic extension at the end of the movement? I ask because being 6'2 with a slightly exaggerated kyphosis, my lower lats are definitely one of my lagging body parts and when I force that extension I feel a deep contraction almost in my mid lower back, between my spine and side. Is this what I should be aiming for each rep? When I don't do it that way and I do it unilaterally I definitely feel a contraction in my lower lat but I almost feel it doesn't transfer into the whole lat, like it stays in my front lower lat. Sorry, long question LOL.
