What a like the most are the regional recipes. it would be great if one day you give us the names of good regional cuisine restaurants in Istanbul. I only know one linked to Hatay region, and one with black sea coast. It would be great if you explain us what are the characteristics of each regional cuisine (what spice they like, what ingredients or way of cooking they prefer, and so on).

Assalamualaikum. We also make lentil soup in Pakistan. But we add fried onion, garlic and green or dried red chillies on top along with the oil in which these are fried. This looks delicious too😋
we usually do that too. in butter or oil we fry some paprika or red pepper flakes and if you wish also some dried mint and then drizzle it on top of the soup individually.

After been offered so many "Bad News" videos by UA-cam it is so wonderful seeing you going about your life and explaining to us the many wonders of Turkish food. In a funny way it is like having a gentle chat with a daughter in law. Family that has lived a different life. Don't know if I am explaining it well but it is a delight to have a window into your world.
This was such a good idea. To visit a hotel breakfast buffet. I have learned so much Turkish language and food and the music you shared from your visit to Trabazon is similar to Afghan music we play during weddings. I always wondered where it originated from. Now I know thanks to you.

Hi Aysenur! Thanks for taking us with you on your travels. Your lentil soup looks much fresher than the hotels.. Also in regards to the simit. I've tried it but they don't taste flavorful. Its more like a bagel ( from the US) but without salt. Can you add different flavors to Simit dough?
Hi thank you Susan, normally simit has its flavor from the sesame and the dough itself and we don^t add any flavorings. The taste nowadays might change depending on how they do it. Unfostunately it is not always good in everywhere

Hello! I was in Turkey 3 times and food was always one of the things I enjoyed the most. The breakfast buffet in the hotels I stayed in looked more or less like what you show in this video. It's almost 10 years since I went to Bodrum and Side and there is slight chance I will come back there anytime soon but I am trying to recreate the Turkish recipes in my kitchen. I have already baked the pide bread and was quite satisfied with the effect, thanks to your channel I know now how to make wild rose jam, probably the most delicious food that I ate in Turkey. I have a huge request for you to post the recipes for the lavash bread and the authentic Turkish apple tea. Thank you very much for this channel and my best wishes to you :)

tq for showing us.totally diffrent bfast from what we use in Malaysia. will be in istanbul for the very first time in early november. just a question: the meat, shall I assume that all meats are Halal? do they serve it together with pork ( like side by side) tq very much.

I mean like natural things in daily life. There are thousands of tourists coming every month. There is no difference. May I ask where are you from? Watermelon is called 'kharbuj' or kalingad in Marathi... official language of Maharashtra... Mumbai. As I have told earlier there are many Turkish words in Marathi.
