Regardless of what Taya says, that doesn’t change the fact that her husband was a serial liar whose trove of stories have since been discredited by personnel in the United States Army, the United States Navy, the United States Special Operation Command as well as U.S. law enforcement.
Taya did not give interviews to reporters that she knew would cross examine her on Chris Kyle’s multiple fabrications. Taya continued to play the part of the “grieving widow” who just happened to be selling her books through HarperCollins Publishing. She also started her own line of jewelry for sale that she claimed represented “freedom”.
Most widows don’t aspire to the media spotlight with product to sell.
You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to read in between the lines on this big picture. But apparently, there are plenty of people who can be fooled very, very easily.
