Budget plays a major roll for me but I saved and saved and went with sonos arc and got the sub, I personally have not owned anything even close to this and def happy with my choice. I do think there are plenty of choices that are high end and will meet the needs and wants of many looking for a special sound bar but after tons of listening to so many sonos had a sound I loved.
I can't believe that the Sonos Arc didn't make the top 5. I've been shopping for a new soundbar system and I personally like the Sonos Arc with sub and two rears. Yes, it costs more but I like what I hear.
No bluetooth and googlecast is a deal breaker for me. Sonos loses so many potential customer with these decision.

I've had several soundbars and surround sound package but it was only when I purchased a budget AVR and a pair of budget speakers that I realised what I was missing, stereo imaging, thumping bass besides going down this route one can always add to it overtime... surround speakers, subwoofers one can even get height speakers and have the full non virtual Dolby Atmos experience.
Remember movies are made up of 50% visuals and 50% audio and there are occasions when the audio out does the visuals.

Even a used 5.1 AVR with Virtual Atmos is better than any soundbar I've used. I now have a Denon 9.2 set as a 5.1.4 with speakers overhead and it destroys my old dual Sonos setup.
budget avr is still more expensive than a soundbar system and not everyone has space for avr system.
So quick question where with JBL bar 550-watt 5.1 channel come into play with the selections
we got a Samsung - 65” Class S95B OLED 4K Smart Tizen TV and I wanted to get a sound bar to help with the audio from the shows. So we have to turn up the volume up to 40 and have to remember to turn it down when we turn off sap. I already have a hard time because the audio description is low. I do not need bells and whistles. Just want to make my tv louder.
Depends on your budget.
If you get any Samsung sound bars that starts with Q (like Q990b or Q800b or Q600b) both the sound bar and tv will work simultaneously (Q-symphony technology)
The Vizio M-Series 2023 sounds amazing. It is connected to my Vizio V-Series 2023 TV and the watching experience is so much better. The bass is very good, sometimes can be a little overwhelming. I can adjust the volume of the soundbar with my TV remote as they are integrated with each other. I recommend this soundbar for the price.

I got the New Bose soundbar 600 with Bose sub 500 module and I love it it is great. I will also add the two rear surround speakers to complete my setup. Atm it cost me 1200$ so far but with the surround speaker my setup will be complete for total of 1800$
How is the dialogue clarity on the 600? I've been trying to decide between it and the Beam 2, but my primary concern is being able to better hear dialogue watching movies and shows.
@@jeremybost8873 i mostly dont even need to use the dialogue mode because its already very clear, but with the dialogue mode it definitely makes it very easy to hear dialogues, i would give 10/10

Which surround speakers do you have? 700 or 300? I have the 300 but audio from these is very low
i also bought a 600 and decided to add the surround rear speaker first ahead of the module 500. its amazing ❤...the surround really immerses you...bullets wizzing behind you. i watched extraction 1 and 2 by chris hemsworth and it was so good...module will be for xmas ❤

I have a simple #VIZIO SB2020n-H6 soundbar. No subwoofers or satellite speakers. The sound through the #Appletv is so good I don't need other speakers. DTS and virtual X are all I need.

I'd initially go for the Q990B but the rear speaker placement and power outlet requirement is a deal breaker. The JBL1000 easily fixes this problem. Waiting for the JBL1300 to come out.
Q990B rears are miles better than JBLs though and the placement on both requirement is the same.
@@TorekO1 I just meant I have an odd shaped living room so its very difficult to find optimum placing for the rear speakers unfortunately. There is a half wall behind where my couch is so the rear speakers need to look like table top speakers, not wall mounted because of the limited space.and height restrictions.

Hello if my sound bar is compatible google and alexa does it mean I can have the same services than if I would buy a google nest or an amazon echo ? Like control my robot vacuum or my lights ?
Don't waste your money on both.
Stick to one ecosystem! So if you're vacuum or smart lights are Google, then go with a Google nest but if your vacuum or lights are Alexa compatible go with Alexa! So basically if most of your devices are Google compatible.. then go with Google etc

Samsung Q990B works fine with airplay.
How did the Sonos Beam beat out the Arc????? I don't understand. I have heard both and the Arc is clearly better......
They both tested for same high-end sound quality at Consumer Reports (4/5)! None tested 5/5. Most tested 3/5.
Can the Samsung soundbar be programmed to my FireTv remote?

Yes fortunately it will, if you had a newer TV with E-ARC, it would not work.

Apologies, to clarify, if you have a E-ARC tv, you would need to change some of the settings on the TV to enable auto pass through to the soundbar.
I had a situation whereby I recently changed TV’s to a LG C2, my Samsung N950 wouldn’t work in Dolby Atmos unless I changed some settings on the TV,
Digital Sound Output needs to be set to Auto, and E-ARC support selected.

Personally, you can never go wrong with Samsung-made sound bars. Even their lowest-end bars test well.
Go even for their 700B bar for high-end Atmos sheet while saving money although rear speakers $old apart.
Yes back to mono sound! What's wrong with ordinary stereo speakers like was in 80s and 90s? We go towards mono sound suddenly. At least should be one (sound bar) vertical on each side of the tv with sub.
Why Mono? Im most Soundbars there are 5 7 9 or more Speaker.

Going for the Samsung I have a 5.1 av amp, but going for a clean look without the wires ,had a listen to it at a friends it’s never gonna be like a full blown atmos set up

You pretty much never go wrong with any Samsung sound bars. Even their lower-priced models have good enough sound quality.
Look for the slim 801b or 700b for the higher-tier audio quality. 65t is as good, just no Atmos but included back speakers.
Update got the Samsung and it’s amazing even connected a Bluetooth turntable to it and sounds greet , really good all round sound bar in my eyes movies and music
why bose is not included
No soundbar will ever be rival to traditional AV theatre. They all have tiny subwoofers. 8" 10" subwoofer was good 20 years ago . This is century of 15", 18" subwoofers. Remember, subwoofer is a heart of AV theatre. I tried Samsung, JBL soundbars and got upset straight away . They aren't even close to my AV theatre.

I cannot believe the one-star reviews from Best Buys on the speakers that's unacceptable for this kind of money. I used to own the Samsung 450 and I gave them away and brought the a650 with the boost bass and it's working for me. However, the cut in and out only for a Split Second other people don't hear it but since I live here I hear it. I tried the firmware update it still didn't work but other than that it's the best that I've had within my price range. I had the 450 and purchased the rear speakers for the 450 was a joke, and they need to get rid of them. It's a disgrace as large of a company is Samsung is and you can't get your product to work properly. Everything in my house Soundbar TV phone tablet, watch is Samsung. The only thing I have that's not Samsung is my airpods and my portable speaker that I travel with.

this is a bad comparison list of soundbars. you can't compare 2.1, 3.1, 5.1, 7.1 soundbars on the same list. It's an uneven comparison
Best (budget) soundbars
Definitely the Creative Stage v1 which I have and it is very respectable for the low price I paid. I might upgrade to the v2 even though I don't think its sound quality will have improved to a higher level.
