My experience: If you can place your Sonos Sub Mini on the same wall at either the side of your Arc, you don't need the bigger sub. It sounds incredible. If you plan on placing the sub anywhere else, get the bigger Gen 3 as the low frequency diminishes and gets muddy quick.

Can I play Dolby Atmos tracks on the Era 300 from a desktop/Mac or is the Sonos app the only way to do it? I just got mine and I was a little disappointed when I found out I can’t just use the Apple Music app…
Currently that’s not possible. The only way to experience Atmos via is Apple Music direct from the Sonos app. Sonos is the only provider Apple has allowed direct access to their music severs.

There is almost no content online and especially the wiring, sound capabilities and connectivity options (port + sub & rears for atmo )are very interesting to hear about more.

I would add the Sub first. The arc is so good at creating a decent immersive experience. The sub will just take that sound to the next level. Then add 300s at a later stage.
If it helps I have a LG 65 C3 with a 1st gen beam, sub mini, and two ones and I love it! Is it top of the range? Nope, but for my little TV room it's perfect.

Apparently in 2024 we have a few new devices coming. An atmos/spatial audio supporting Sonos pro amp, the much hyped headphones and a new big sub that isn't in that ridiculous piano gloss. The Sonos Sub gen 3 is awesome BUT I would wait for the new sub and the new amp.
I have the Sonos arc ultra and have just been talked into buying the sub mini and 2 100S for rears my living room is average size room for the uk any advice would be great
I also have a lg c2 42 as a monitor. Since the c2 takes up a lot of space I needed a soundbar rather than taller speakers as I had no room. I went with the SoundBlaster Katana V2X, I love it. At first I was extremely iffy on it, as it sounded extremely tinny. But I played around with the equalizer and various settings to find my perfect setup. Now I love it for both videos and gaming.
I should have watched this ahead of time. I bought the Beam 2 and returned it. As it was very nice clarity wise, it lacks in the bass significantly if you already have a setup with a subwoofer. So I would say, if you only had TV sound before, the Beam would be great. But if you're thinking about replacing an existing soundbar + subwoofer solution, don't expect too much. Of course as my friend told me, he paired his Beam with a sub mini, and it sounds great which I don't have any doubts about. But I wasn't looking to spend THAT much on top of an already expensive soundbar for that extra punch. In the end I just stuck with the existing solution (Sony soundbar). It does the job, and wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to beat the sound.
Eh... I have the Sony sound bar. Great for loud music but detail and at low level 👎 The detail leaves alot to be desired. I leave it off unless I'm rocking music. No kidding.
Great video overview, great content. I have the Sonos play:bar paired with One SLs and looking to get the Sub gen 3 this holiday season. I have 2 other One SLs, Sonos Move in different rooms of the home. I love Sonos products.
I listened to the Sonos5 today at a retail store. It was very impressive for its size. Very punchy bass and mid high tones really very clear. It’s is $900 Aussie Dollars but I would expect that for a quality product. Compared to the Move 2 at $800 it was a quantum leap forward for only $100 more
Im looking to buy sonos arc but my room has the same environment that seem to block the side speaker of sonos arc like at 15:19 that your ps5 and wall block it left and right Is it affected the sound? or trueplay can adjust it?
Hi i am thinking of getting the ARC ULTRA will the ERA 100's still add an upgraded surround sound ? 300's too pricey for me at the moment i will add the sub down the road need some advice from you or anyone thats willing to give some advice thx in advance cheers from Canada
Can you tell me I live in a flat with people above me and my front room is 18 feet by 14 feet can you give me some advice on sonos arc with a sub mini with era 100 what do you think
If I have a ark and sub 3, should I get the 5s or era 300s as rears if money is not an object? Pretty big living room space for reference. Also, I wish on a different note that you could pair 2 moves, but I understand that’s not really what they’re designed for. I just like the idea of a true wireless rear set up
If money is not a problem, the Sonos 5 will outperform. He mentioned the 5's are the strongest. I have a single 5 and when maxed out, it can overwhelm a room full of people talking. It's genuinely painfully loud when you want it to be. I actually keep it at 100% and adjust my computer volume since the physical settings and audio input levels can exist separately.
@@scpdatabase69420 so are 2 5s overkill? I don’t have any neighbors or anything to worry about, but could it be a bit much if I were to host a movie night or party for casual audio listeners? Thank you for your response
@@loganmccoy2842 a single 5 is enough for a college party in a medium sized rec room with people drinking and playing pool while hearing the audio clearly. If you max it out, it can cause the table to rattle. two would definitely fill the room out with more sound. You can always set both speakers to low/medium volume. It’s very crisp so casual listeners will definitely enjoy it. It also has small bass so people close will feel it. If the room isn’t really wide and high, getting a single 5 with a single (full size) Sub would probably be enough. It never hurts to have two 5’s and a Sub though. My next move is going to be buying the Mini Sub because I appreciate quality audio but my space is small/shared. I currently daily drive my Sonos 5 under by computer screens.

What about my setup: a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with a Sub Mini as PC speaker, an Arc for the TV with a Sub Gen 3 without surrounds, a pair of fives with a Sub Gen 3 for a Hifi CD player and a Roam 2 when I go to work.
For those just doing research on what to buy. Consider the Denon HEOS wireless speakers. I had listened to both systems before buying and felt that the Sonos had a processed sound where as the Denon sounded clear and true, in my opinion.
I have Sonos Fives. I have them connected to the Arc v1 and dual Gen 3 subs. Fantastic system for movies and music. You have the option to swap out any component and re-use the speakers around the house as needed.
I have Sonos speakers at home and the office/shop. I have older speakers at home that require using the S1 app. At the shop, I have to use the S2 app because of a couple newer speakers. The S2 app sucks. It has since it came out, but it's worse now. At this point, I wouldn't buy speakers that force me to upgrade the app at home. It is that bad.
I am currently using the Ray for my living room TV set up. I mainly use it for music, and occasional casual TV watching (kid watching youtube video etc). The Ray is never too good for music (compare to my office era 100) If I want to upgrade the Ray, would you recommend me to 1. Get the Beam gen2, sell the Ray 2. Get the Submini to pair with existing Ray 3. Add x2 Era100 as rear pair All 3 options have very close price ranges.. just thinking about which would be the most valuable and bring the best upgrade. My TV is an old 42 inch FHD (Non 4k) , hence at the moment I am not really focusing on the theater experience. But that doesn't mean I wont in future. Just that current priority is always music that can fill up my living room better . Thanks and helpful video as always.
Tough call! I personally think that the Beam would offer the biggest jump up in performance from the Ray if you're not that fussed about having sound coming from behind you. It's one of our favourite Sonos products and is a brilliant soundbar which does deliver good immersion from a single unit. However if you're happy with the overall performance of the Ray, then 2 x Era 100s will complete that setup, giving a more room-filling sound and giving you the benefit of rear surround sound audio! Let us know what you go for 😀
@@smarthomesounds Thanks for the reply and recommendation. Personally the Ray never impressed me. But I bought it Used because I just want something simple to go with my TV (enhanced speech feature for my kid)... and at the same time, allow it to group with my office Era 100 (my first sonos) to fill my apartment with music better. In that regards, it works very well. Just that for music, the ray simply not good enough. Since you recommended Beam, I wonder if Beam will perform "much better" with music listening?
The only thing I wish you could do was add the port(s) to a speaker set in the same room in the same way you add a sub. “Living Room -Turntable” just makes the room options in I necessarily long
Have the arc 2 subs and a pair of era 100s. Not sure if wanna use another pair of 100s for front or grab me a pair of 300s for rear and use the 100s for fronts along with the arc. I listen to some atmos especially when available. I'm not all thrilled to be honest. I'm not really sure what I should be hearing but I don't get what is explained. So 300s aren't a must. Any ideas and recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks. Oh and also. Its not as loud as I thought would be. And or sound as good as in bestbuy. And its trueplay I'm sure best buy isn't. Plus the sub to me doesn't hit like it did in bestbuy. Yet alone I have 2. One in front left other rear right of seating area.
I just got my second Sonos Sub Gen 3 and it definitely hits hard at and above sub level +8. At +15 max it's too much bass IMO. Just wish it could play at least down to 20hz, but for the size of the sub it plays very well though.
@BrandonKTG nice congrats. Yea I got sub at 3 when I Rais either. It does hit. But I have my old bose module surround sound and on negative the sub hits. Just feel for the price of the sub gen 3 shouldn't have to crank so much. Also feel with volume down it doesn't hit as well maybe it's just me. Idk
@@prtbone78 I agree at 0 it doesn't hit at all, I think it's just because of the sound signature of Sonos. They have a DSP so even if you crank to max it won't blow the speaker. I think it has a lot of headroom still even when it is at a higher sub level. But it should be hitting decently at base level with 2 of them especially for the price of the sub.
@BrandonKTG yessir like I stated. My bose hits.. I left it on -6 most of the time because it would shake everything. Went to best buy to shop and checked out the bose and sonos. And the bose module 700 or whatever it was. Omg was serious. But went woth sonos anyway. The sonos sub was hitting but not like the bose. But the sonos was something about it I had to get it. I think more because can add to it. Was going woth the samsung 990 but wasn't at store unless it was but I must of walked passed and should have asked because I went back recently. And I heard the samsung and it sounds good. I'm not sure how happy I am with the sonos to be honest. Also wanted atleast 1 white sub. Not thinking when ordered. Got me another black one. And debated on returning and wlswap for white. But time ran out. Fml. I'll stick with all around black its fine the white is classy to me I think
@@prtbone78 yeah buyers remorse sucks. Soundbar home theater system technology is definitely nice but I would definitely go the traditional home theater route in the future and sell all my Sonos stuff. But the Sonos does a great job and plays music well. It's definitely a solid product.

It's worth noting that not all ios devices are supported for trueplay... for example my iPad Pro 11 inch is not supported for some reason. This is annoying because it's the only ios device I have.
A big question is which TV brand to best pair with a Sonos Arc + 2 Sub + 2 Era 300. I feel Samsung has issues with Dolby MAT passthrough affecting Atmos (certainly my Q90T with eARC). Does this affect also more recent models like S90C? And what about LG C3 or Sony A80L or better? Thanks
I've run my Arc, gen 3 sub and 2 x era 300's (previously 2 x one's) through the LG C2 and now through the LG G3, both sound great if anything, for some reason I did pick up an improvement on the G3...... prior to the C2, I was using the HD Fury arcana as my, Earc output and picked up on a difference going from that to the C2 also.
@@jb7753thank you for sharing - curiosity: is your G3 wall mounted? I am also considering it, as Sony too expensive and Samsung too risky for audio passthrough
@giacintorenta7579 No worries, mate. My G3 is wall mounted, but not the wall mount that it comes with. It's the third TV in the same space, I just jump the brackets over to a new TV. I made a bit of a mistake with the space. I'm restricted to 55in TV only, and the mount comes out from the wall to sit flush with the customised cabinetry I've had built around it. Hence the mistake, I should have thought ahead and allowed for a 65in, but honestly, a 55 is big enough for the room size. I got to the same place you're at. Sony is more expensive, and all my research shows that the extra $$'s don't warrant the 10% extra increase in "quality." I've had the G3 now for maybe 2 months, and it is amazing... I didn't think that I would see a big difference going from C2 to the G3.... I was very mistaken... I have a mate that has sold TV's etc for 15yrs and I ran past him what I was looking at, G3 or the Sony equivalent, as he said, which ever TV you go with you're getting a great TV. For me, LG adding back in supporting DTS passthrough in the G3 was what really sealed the deal. The G3 and C2 support both HDR AND dolby vision. When I bought the C2 from memory, Sony and Samsung only supported 1 and not the other. Also, G3 has all 2.1 hdmi ports. It's those details that pushed me down the LG path.
Sonos Beam Gen 2 and 2x Era 100's as rears for my setup. I would consider the sub mini but the bass is already more than enough, the Beam gen 2 on its own will rumble the whole room. Couldn't wish for a better home cinema setup
I have 3 Sonos speakers and I will never purchase more. Love their speakers and want to get two of the mobile units but the APP causes me so much trouble I am at a loss to understand why they haven't fixed it 😡😡😡😡
I have an Arc and several Beams systems around the house (Era 100 and two Roams also). I have the Sonos system set for automatic updates and wired internet connection into the Arc. I haven't noticed any issues with system in daily use for TV watching or airplay for individual speaker or whole house audio. I don't like using voice control, iphone/ipad user, don't use the app on a regular basis, and TruePlay when installed the Arc/Beam systems.

@@lawrencepettifer4102 After releasing their new app, it bricked a lot of systems and tons of functionality disappeared overnight. It's August, and features that were promised to return in June (such as searching your music library, etc) are still not restored. SONOS rushed out a poorly developed app just so they could meet the deadline to launch and sell headphones. Sonos originally stated that customers would not lose functionality prior to the release of the new app. Beta testers have since come forward to comment that there were a variety of issues and bugs before it was launched. And yet SONOS pushed forward and crammed an unfinished app down the throats of their loyal customers. When the app was pushed it had connectivity issues, SONOS blamed that on the consumer and told people it was their wi-fi and router. Speaker grouping was unstable. Volume controls were clunky and lagged. Playlists were removed. Personal libraries were disabled. You couldn't even mute speakers! The app drains device batteries. Most of the time when you open the app, you are met with a blank home screen, or the system shows that it is disconnected. I don't even open the app anymore, because I just get a welcome screen that prompts me to set up speakers. And there are thousands of people that have speakers that will not connect at all. Systems that are totally bricked! This is not a "slightly missing the mark", or "fell short of amazing" or even "courageous" as the CEO emails have stated... this is company sabotage. This is false advertising, lying, rug-pulling incompetence. There needs to be some accountability. You cannot advertise that your system will allow customers to play their own music, build playlists, easily and flawlessly integrate speakers throughout their home, and then take all of those things away once the money is handed over. Customers are all held hostage now, with millions of dollars of unusable sound equipment.
Wouldn’t seriously consider a SONOS wireless system again until there are some major improvements to the SONOS app. & maybe only after a new & improved ARC replacement soundbar drops. Hopefully their new soundbar won’t begin to leak ferrofluid & suffer a drop in SQ after little more than a week(?) 🤔💁🏽♂️
My honest opinion these speakers are just an expensive 💸 cash grab 💰. I just bought the beam soundbar. Does it sound good yes, is it worth $500 that's debatable 🤷🏾♂️. The only reason I got these speakers is because my Hisense Roku Tv's went out and my bro, got me a new Samsung tv. Unfortunately my roku speaker's( which sounded amazing) are not compatible with this new TV so I was forced to get a different speaker. If you are a movie buff these are really nice, and the clarity in sound in action scenes is great, if you listen to music I think they could sound better just my opinion 🤷🏾♂️ Since I own Sonos beam now,,,Does anyone know any Sonos speakers I could use for a left and right of my tv audio experience like I had with my two Roku speaker's?????
Sonos is shit. I regret buying these speakers. Can't play music saved on my device. Every 18 months there's some shit release the makes the app worse. I only listen to music saved on my phone/tablet so now they are just collecting dust. Shame because they are great sounding speakers - can't trust the brand to continue doing what they promised on the box. Have since gone back to hardwired speakers which are more reliable and I decide how to listen to my music, and don't have re-solve the same basic problem (ie the simple task of playing music) every 18 months. If you only listen to music on Spotify etc, and can be bothered continuously changing the way you listen to music then go for it but if you like to listen to saved music, mixes, vinyl, music you can't get on streaming services, then they are useless. Wasted a lot of time and money with these speakers.
With the fact they do an update that makes the whole experience now horrible with standard features removed, I'm not sure i would recommend Sonos to anyone anymore.....
100%! This video popped up with the spend wisely thumbnail and my immediate response was do not buy sonos!!!! I sold my set up about 2 years ago because the controlling app was such a pig. I hear they somehow made it even worse recently. All I've seen on YT and reddit is people furious with their sonos systems! I feel for yas
I am a long time Sonos user and have always enjoyed the ease of playing my own music in addition to adding new components to my existing network. But since coming out with a new app in early May of this year, every thing stopped and my system was useless for about three weeks when Sonos stopped supporting my NAS language. So I needed to buy a new NAS drive and have had nothing but problems with the new app. I will not purchase any more speakers until I know that I can incorporate them into my existing system. Sonos is no longer the company they were years ago and their tech support is terrible. Most users don’t like the new app and features that we used to enjoy are no longer available. Very dissatisfied with Sonos. 😢
Oh my God, I think I would actually buy anything from this man. He's so beautiful My husband and I were watching hoping to learn about sonos trends and systems. He turned Up on our TV. And then we both got very Randy and I have never been ploughed so hard feeling so horny over speakers. You guys messaged me if he comes round. And shows me what he can do with the system. Then I'll buy anything God, you fit boy 😊❤
The lack of Google assistant support on Sonos new products has killed their lineup for me. I was already incredibly annoyed by their entire S1, S2 crap. Now just makes me consider dumping my beam, sub and One's sooner rather than later. The S2 app is pretty slow, fiddly and simply far more long-winded than just asking Google to play a playlist. There are much better options to just cast audio to or have Google assistant
Do not buy Sonos, their new app has destroyed how easy it was to use. They recently sent an email and will provide frequent updates over the next few months. What Sonos does not get is, I don’t want a polished turd, I want the previous app. This app is dogshit! They should just put a 🐕 💩 on their products, at least that would describe it best.
Wdym. Sonos setup is literally clicking through some buttons, where you literally can’t klick anything else and waiting for the speaker to update… after that it’s ready to go
small room you only need 1 era 300. with a pair or single i find it a complete waste of money adding a subwoofer when era 300s have a good base already . that price is wrong its listing price also on the 300s. i just got a pair with a discount £750 but when comparing to 2 2.1 speakers on my other system i prefer them as its more natural and clearer . but this is old tech here spatial music. bang and Olufsen been doing it for decades
I think they keep their prices up artificially which is against trade laws (not good for consumers) plus they do stupid stuff with their software.... spend your money wisely
Tend to agree with you, i have 5 sonos speakers at home and it used to be working very smoothly.....then: One of my Sonos5 stopped working and i realized that there's no way to fix those, so i have a $600 brick, very annoying. I won't even go into the App discussion, it's pretty obvious that Sonos isn't a software company. If you have a big library, keep in mind that for unexplainable reasons, there's a limit to the number of songs a Sonos library can handle. The good thing is i use Plex to listen music on my speakers and it's (more or less) efficient. It's a shame, Sonos was years ahead when they started and they're (still) making great speakers, bit overpriced maybe, but the software ecosystem is a nightmare.
Improved SONOS buyers guide 2024: Just buy none. Either you buy better smart speakers from Bluesound, let’s say. Or you get yourself real speakers that actually sound good and provide stereo by default.
Sonos such a disaster! I wouldn’t buy anything. They totally forgot their whole core business, to make speakers that play music wirelessly. You will buy speakers that are bricks!

Hi. Do you know any WIFI headphones that will work with Sonos system. Thanks.
Can you use the Move 2 as rear speakers on a home cinema paired with a beam or arc? Looking to use for mobile use also
Unfortunately not. We don’t think this will come as a software update either.
When does Sonos stuff go on sale? I’ve been looking but nothing
They have an error in the name of one of the speakers in the video thumbnail, where the Era 100 is, it says it is a Ray.
I listened to the Sonos5 today at a retail store. It was very impressive for its size. Very punchy bass and mid high tones really very clear. It’s is $900 Aussie Dollars but I would expect that for a quality product. Compared to the Move 2 at $800 it was a quantum leap forward for only $100 more
Do the Move 2, Roam, Roam SL, (and now the Roam 2) not support Spotify connect?
Yes, all of these speakers support Spotify connect.
Im looking to buy sonos arc but my room has the same environment that seem to block the side speaker of sonos arc like at 15:19 that your ps5 and wall block it left and right
Is it affected the sound? or trueplay can adjust it?
Hi i am thinking of getting the ARC ULTRA will the ERA 100's still add an upgraded surround sound ? 300's too pricey for me at the moment i will add the sub down the road need some advice from you or anyone thats willing to give some advice thx in advance cheers from Canada
Arc ultra and sub gen 4 with Era 300
What is the best karaoke system to work with your Sonos?
i already have the move, with a less than 55in tvm would the sub-mini+beam2+sonos move(plan to place behind my couch) works?
Hi can you pls suggest any portable speakers
Is Sonos roam or Bose revolve 2
Best in features and sound wise
Pls suggest
Are you okay
Yes
What did you end up buying? Any recommendations or pros/ cons you can share?
Which is good as computer speakers?
Hi, as a new Sonos user, which is better to buy the first speaker, era 300 or Five?
Probably the 300. And it’s better for home theater
Fantastic content guys! Do you think an upgrade to the Arc is in the pipeline soon from Sonos?
Its already been confirmed for this year. It’s in beta phase rn.
For those just doing research on what to buy. Consider the Denon HEOS wireless speakers. I had listened to both systems before buying and felt that the Sonos had a processed sound where as the Denon sounded clear and true, in my opinion.
I need help... I want to buy a 5.1.2 system, but I already have 2 sonos five and an denon avx 4800H.. Should I sell my sonos?
I have Sonos Fives. I have them connected to the Arc v1 and dual Gen 3 subs. Fantastic system for movies and music. You have the option to swap out any component and re-use the speakers around the house as needed.
and sonos amp could connect mics to the sonos beam2/arc with subwoofer?
Thanks for the great and detail video
I have Sonos speakers at home and the office/shop. I have older speakers at home that require using the S1 app. At the shop, I have to use the S2 app because of a couple newer speakers. The S2 app sucks. It has since it came out, but it's worse now. At this point, I wouldn't buy speakers that force me to upgrade the app at home. It is that bad.
I am currently using the Ray for my living room TV set up. I mainly use it for music, and occasional casual TV watching (kid watching youtube video etc). The Ray is never too good for music (compare to my office era 100) If I want to upgrade the Ray, would you recommend me to
1. Get the Beam gen2, sell the Ray
2. Get the Submini to pair with existing Ray
3. Add x2 Era100 as rear pair
All 3 options have very close price ranges.. just thinking about which would be the most valuable and bring the best upgrade.
“Living Room -Turntable” just makes the room options in I necessarily long
Hi, why don’t we get more videos and reviews on Revel home theater system….
do a vidoe on the playbar please🙏
I have a 1400sq ft gym I want to deck out with some speakers. After watching this video I am even more confused lol. What would you recommend sir?
For a gym and if you want Sonos look at the Sonos Five. It has the best bass response & overall loudness in the Sonos range.
@@smarthomesounds thank you for the reply!!
What about the ikea range?
We have got content reviewing the lamp and the picture frame on our channel! They're a good option if you're looking for more affordable alternatives that blend more into your space :)
@@smarthomesounds Don’t forget about the bookshelves speakers, they are highly underrated! I added them to my “illegal” home theater setup as unofficial front stereo speakers to my arc/era 300 setup!
No Bluetooth does it means I can’t play song from my Apple Music from iPhone?
Correct
I use AirPlay to play music from my iphone 13 pro max. I like it better than bluetooth because I don't get notifications dings, or phone calls to interrupt the music. Another big plus is using wifi range is so much greater compared to Bluetooth range
Just get 2 Fives and you’re sorted!
Can you do one with the new lineup?
It's worth noting that not all ios devices are supported for trueplay... for example my iPad Pro 11 inch is not supported for some reason. This is annoying because it's the only ios device I have.
Great video. What stands are you suing for the Era 100?
Sorry the Content Creator is to busy to reply to comments. Hes out buying more gadgets....
Thanks
Have the arc, gen 3 sub, and era 100. My music and tv movies are awesome, best I’ve ever head!
@@rpe97on which Tv please?
@giacintorenta7579 No worries, mate. My G3 is wall mounted, but not the wall mount that it comes with. It's the third TV in the same space, I just jump the brackets over to a new TV.
I made a bit of a mistake with the space. I'm restricted to 55in TV only, and the mount comes out from the wall to sit flush with the customised cabinetry I've had built around it. Hence the mistake, I should have thought ahead and allowed for a 65in, but honestly, a 55 is big enough for the room size.
I got to the same place you're at. Sony is more expensive, and all my research shows that the extra $$'s don't warrant the 10% extra increase in "quality."
I've had the G3 now for maybe 2 months, and it is amazing...
Wish they had a larger more weather proof outdoor speaker.
The beam is incredible on our boat :)
does it make sense to use the sub alone without any soundbar and just keep the tv audio?
That will not work. The sub only works in an Sonos system environment..
Playbar, gen 1 sub & 2 x play ones as surround is all that my 59 year old ears need.
Sonos Beam Gen 2 and 2x Era 100's as rears for my setup. I would consider the sub mini but the bass is already more than enough, the Beam gen 2 on its own will rumble the whole room. Couldn't wish for a better home cinema setup
I’ve got the same but with a full sized Sub… you will be amazed by the difference, treat yourself 😀
I just got the sonos beams 2 and sub gen 3 with two one SLs
How can Sonos not support DTS? A good amount of movies have DTS support.
i got 2 era 100, and a argon tt4 turntable. its amazing
Waiting on front L-R channels.
Same! I have an unofficial group setup until they finally do this
Just purchased and true play does t work! Wish I saw this first 🤦🏽♂️
Finally a good video! Thank you
can you do devialet
I have 3 Sonos speakers and I will never purchase more. Love their speakers and want to get two of the mobile units but the APP causes me so much trouble I am at a loss to understand why they haven't fixed it 😡😡😡😡
What a lot of good content😅
wow fella you are so rich, you purchased every product in the Sonos line.
I have every speaker here accept the five and ray 😂
lol it never ends, does it? I got into Sonos a few months ago and there's always one more you can add to your setup ;)
@@gm2256 it’s sickening 😂. I even have the symfonisk line from IKEA. Whenever a new product is announced, I’m already thinking about how I’m gonna shuffle my speakers around the house to accommodate a new speaker 😂
The Arc Gen 2 is coming this year
I have an Arc, 4 Ones, 1 Sub, 1 Ray, 1 Move and 1 Roam. The Roam died and can't be revived.
The sonos app is now broken for a long time. Do not buy Sonos till they fix it!!
How?
Clear your Sonos app cache and memory bro
How does the Sonos Five not have bluetooth that's is very disappointing wtf
I have 4 X 5's 2 X ARC and 2 X Sub......Only half work because of the stupid APP that has not worked at all.......
100 % Don't buy Sonos speakers. I'm an owner, they were great, now they're worthless. Their app sucks more than a
Leeches do to survive
I wouldn’t buy a thing from Sonos till they pay for dts hd. Why would I buy a modern product and get lossy sound from my 4k blurays
Giving me “home in the sun vibes” 🤣
I feel for yas
this guy says not to put the move 2 in a backpack and that's what I do to bring my 1 to work everyday xD
Sonos move 2 also looks better on a bookcase or shelf. No wires.
You get what you paid for but I hear that new app has made alot of expensive bricks. :/ btw... No google assistant? How? Why? Not very compatible
Setting these up is a nightmare… Sonos needs to get their act together and simplify the setup process… I ended up going with The HomePod 😊
But if you went with the Sonos speaker the sound quality would be very different
Hot take, Sonos sounds better without trueplay
I think they keep their prices up artificially which is against trade laws (not good for consumers) plus they do stupid stuff with their software.... spend your money wisely
Sonos is completely broken with no fix in sight. Customer support is almost non-existent and can’t help you when you get ahold of them. DO NOT BUY.
For what you need support? Where you have problems?
What ??
I have my house filled with Sonos in every room . Absolutely love it . Wouldn’t buy anything else .
Tend to agree with you, i have 5 sonos speakers at home and it used to be working very smoothly.....then:
One of my Sonos5 stopped working and i realized that there's no way to fix those, so i have a $600 brick, very annoying.

Improved SONOS buyers guide 2024:
Just buy none. Either you buy better smart speakers from Bluesound, let’s say. Or you get yourself real speakers that actually sound good and provide stereo by default.
Sonos sucks
Sonos such a disaster! I wouldn’t buy anything. They totally forgot their whole core business, to make speakers that play music wirelessly. You will buy speakers that are bricks!
