Hi James I still have family in Honolulu I lived there 24 year's I understand how they are. I'm glad to see you have way better place for boaters. I love your video's very much, thank you James!!
Henry has got a nice Maxi 95. Makes my swedish heart proud. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures, James. It’s truely a pleasure to watch, especially now as the snow falls outside here.
What a beautiful place to be.... Just be!! Thank you James, each week I look forward to your upload . I am never disappointed.. ever my friend!!! Thanks for sharing your life with us grateful for you an the wisdom you share ✌🏼💗😊⛵❣️
I'm watching your video when you purchase that boat I cannot believe that someone let that thing go for $2,500 I would have given $5,000 for that in a heartbeat! But I believe in this universe things happen for a reason and you were meant to have that boat. You quickly become by far my favorite sailing channel keep up the good work keep up the awesome attitude and hope we cross past one day
The service my wife and I have received abroad has put the USA to shame. I am glad you are having an easier time and away from the stunts Hawaii pulls on every visitor. Aloha is dying there.
I purchased a SMACO scuba tank can’t wait to try it out i bought it amazon i know it was on your page to but i already had an acct with amazon but if I didn’t see your video i would have never known thanks James……PEACE BROTHER
great video, good editing. really liked the quick tour around the market and town also those seafaring polynesian ships are crazy ... two giant canoes with a raft slapped on top
Yet another great episode James.👍 Tahiti looks very modern and I was amazed to see such an array of engine mounts sitting on the shelf in the marine store, certainly aren't get that in a UK chandlers.
It’s been awhile since I checked sir, and man have you been traveling! I visited this part of the world on a cruise ship along with my parents and a brother and his wife. Come to think of it, it was 17 years ago! Damn how time flys! Your boat is looking fine considering how far she has taken you. I hope you will spend some time at Moore’s and Bora Bora, two garden of Eden islands. Thinking back, the last time I saw a posting, you were sailing around the Hawaiian chain with a really fun girl!
Remember Paul Gauguins beautiful paintings & drawings of Tahiti & its women. Everything is still there, just a little more modern or set back inland further. I think you just have to look for it a little :)
Thank you for another inspiring video James. I've been binge watching the videos and want to ask why you were adamantly against electric propulsion. Is it because you are a full keel boat so would not be able to consistently keep up 6 knots to recharge the batteries? Many thanks.
ITS SO BEAUTIFUL AND NICE WHERE YOU ARE... THERE IS THIS PART OF ME WHILE WATCHING YOU THERE, THAT WANTS TO KEEP WHERE YOU ARE A SECRET... ITS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL 🌈🌎🛡️
Love the video thank you- one critique,, the marine store video and the market video was way too fast for me in the camera movement. Almost made me sea sick! Slower pans would be appreciated as I was really interested in what that store had! Thank you for listening!
Aloha James Yes I have been told by a friend how shitty the harbor masters and staff are in Honolulu. I remember the evening you arrived and asked for help. Only to be denied. Glad that's behind you now. Stay safe and enjoy.
Great video! I’m doing my best to convince my lovely wife that a circumnavigation is a GREAT idea. Even started a UA-cam channel to identify boats she might like better than her house. Lol. If you have any tips, I’m all ears!
@@SailorJames thank you, I do appreciate that. Question, what flag do you sale under ( it helps to know that when looking at the AIS sites) and why does his AIS not show up? And again I do appreciate the response. 👍 Edit:....no AIS?...at all, or only activated occasionally?...that ain't safe....

I also noticed it is cleaner with no garbage and plastic bags floating around which is good to see

7 days without new James's video makes one weak!!!!
Looks like a chill place.
Thank you for the tour James. Fantastic!!
I'm enjoying your adventure. I leave the dock 6/2024. I think you should connect with Wind Hippie Sailing. You two seem to be on similar life paths.
Tahiti looks amazing & at them geat prices, i'd say its worth every $$ ..something too be said about a bit of land now & then. Nice one James
Brilllllliant James - nice tour and raft up. Great marina to decompress.
Liked those fender clips on Henry's sailboat ⛵️
Learning with your videos. They are Great. Let the Hope of a Better Tomorrow push you forward always.

Hi James. Another fab episode, but sadly, gone in a flash. 😔
Glad you found such an accommodating harbour and look forward to next week!
Amazing. Enjoy.
Must feel great to get some steady deserved rest while in port.
Congratulations…great episode.

Many thanks to you on keeping the dream and inspiration alive to get back out there myself with these videos.
Fair Winds.
Stoked for the surfing 🤙🏼

Very kool episode James, first I've ever seen Tahiti, nice looking place, tropical weather, nice. Safe travels bro👍☺

So cool. Would love to see a video about how much things cost (fuel, food, different repairs etc.)
Fuel and food About 25% more, Repairs About 4 times as much as an equivalent repair on your car or house.
Remember Paul Gauguins beautiful paintings & drawings of Tahiti & its women. Everything is still there, just a little more modern or set back inland further. I think you just have to look for it a little :)

Another amazing video :D
I noticed the Shell "fuel" station.
I just figured it would have been either Total or Agip .
Wow! I hope I can make it there sometime before I’m too old 😂
James,What kind of boat is that rafting up to you? Maybe you could fo a walk through of it.
That’s the first time I’ve been in the men’s toilets in the Marina 😮, thanks for sharing 😂
Another great video!!
I like you video, James

Hello my island IS so Amazing ❤
Wow the cockpit on that red boat is tiny
Southern Cross!
I'm new. I'll have to catch up!😎🏜❤

Aloha James

Wow great ships store beats West Marine.
looks like your heading to NZ mate ...
Thata awesome bro!
Looked like really nice facilities.
On another topic: I can't remember if you collect rainwater? Seems like it is always raining on your boat.
I have rain catchment but have never needed to use it
I remember reading the story of "Kon Tiki", Thori Hydrytal back when I was kid.
Spelling is wrong but ....
Is that the kind of boat they used?
No, they made a raft out of bamboo
@@SailorJames OK _ Thanks -such a cool story.
That steel boat at the beginning of the video…looked like the self steering wind vane goes through the swim platform? How does that work?
It works the same as mine , just has the rudder through the swim step
@@SailorJames Thanks for the reply James!

Almost any marriage will hold up at sea as long as you are just sailing in the tradewinds 😂
@@SailorJames now that is great advice. I’m probably too lazy to do anything else. Lol!
Have tried tracking you on a couple of different AIS sites, but none have a "Triteia" being tracked....not even showing up at all.....🤔
forecast.predictwind.com/tracking/display/Triteia/?mapMode=useAtlas&windSymbol=WindStreamlines&weatherSource=ECMWF
James is at sea- this is Sarah, but that link should take you to his tracker.
@@SailorJames thank you, I do appreciate that. Question, what flag do you sale under ( it helps to know that when looking at the AIS sites) and why does his AIS not show up? And again I do appreciate the response. 👍

try visiting New Caledonia
Why does it sound like a turbine engine is warming up when u are walking on the dock?
How are the rigger prices there?
No idea I do all my own rigging
Tell the guy helping you dock to not pull on a stanchion!!! If he has to, pull low.
Hi again man. Keep on looking the pasific. I`ll following you 😎❤️
Funniest part when you're at the marina and you're giving the tour. I live on a sailboat and all I wanted to see was the showers laugh out loud...
Right? I know what the people want 😂
Priorities!
what an awesome place I love what you do, great job
Is it a Maxi 95 that Henry is sailing?
Yep
btw, it's not O tahiti bro, it's just Tahiti.
the O is simply an article, don't be an ignorant .
Nice try for pronouncing Papeete and Moorea. 🤙 appreciate !
It’s because the Hawaiians don’t want you there. The Tahitians do want you there.
Great men, life a free bird
