Thanks for another skillfully done video tour of remote beauty! Your genuine interest in the history of places you visit shows through clearly and really does enhance the stories you're telling. We're lucky to have you both as guides.
The view from the top to see what Captain Cook saw,, was absolutely incredible !! I could have sat up there for hours too. And we found out why it was called Lizard Island.
Awesome views, water colors, unbelievable! Enjoyed the time lapse. Wow, what a view! Also, I'm glad the crocs didn't eat you. A professional production.
I was once told by a local to not worry about the crocodile warning signs at the beach because the sharks scare the crocs away. Thanks for taking me along with you in this episode, it was captivating.
Been watching you guys for a while now bloody awesome am on my way to doing this myself once my yacht is repaired so might see you some time btw nice soundtrack too🤘🏽
Green tree ants use their larvae to spin silk, which they skillfully use to build and seal their nests. The worker ants hold the larvae in their mandibles, moving them along the edges of leaves to weave silk-like walls and create strong, sealed structures for their colonies.
I actually heard the giant clams can be seriously dangerous. If you were not paying attention and put your hand or foot inside of one, they can actually close up on you a lot faster than you would think they could, and once clamped down, you need like an ax to pry it open again, so be careful when you’re down there.
Im going to get a yacht in my next life. So amazing seeing these lovely isolated an beautiful nature spots. Thanks for your vids, I absolutely love watching them.
Did a tour on midway island. Coming from the midwest it changed my life at 18. The trash today, makes me cry. My heart breaks. Such a waste. It is now off limits but the damage is horrible. A couple years ago, some volunteers picked up one ton of just TOOTHBRUSHES! I was still impressed at how LITTLE amount of trash there was there. Awesome you guys. Party on!
Nice, sailed up there, all very familiar, always lots wind, for you its the right direction. I see you up at LabuanBajo (Been there too) but of course your UA-cam time is out by many months, I see you making rapid progress is it your intention to close the apparent gap between now and UA-cam time (hopeso!).
Awesome ...ive seen those mollusks and they can get huge..my relative now passed took a ship called ss stranger back in 30s? A type of small paddle wheel if i recollect? Brought back an example of those clams..thanks again friends
Let me see how long it takes you to sail from Sydney to Cape York (2145 miles) at 5 knots 👍🏻 and for the record in real-time we have been in Indonesia for two months.
Always a pleasure to spend time with you two. Another great video well done.
Thank you 🙏🏻

Nice lizard. If those critters can swim, might make a nice boat pet. One more thing against pirates too.
😂😂😂
Salsa reference.. good one!
Luv the timelap , funny to see that the boats did not spin too much , nice spot !
Too much wind for them to spin
What an amazing island! Thanks for showing us James.

The trash on Indonesian beaches and in the water is unlike anything I ever thought possible, and not just on windward beaches, it’s everywhere

So nice mate
Bureaucrats from two different departments and their signs. Hahahaha.
Did you have to prime the pump? I remember that from Little House on the Prairie :-) but I guess there’s more humidity there
My relatives cemetery has a water hand pump from the well! Neighbors are quite!
Preseasoned
Did you folks get to visit the Lizard Island Research Station run by the Australian Museum? It's a world famous marine biology lab.
No but we heard about it
Awesome ...ive seen those mollusks and they can get huge..my relative now passed took a ship called ss stranger back in 30s? A type of small paddle wheel if i recollect? Brought back an example of those clams..thanks again friends

12:50. Why didn't Cook just wait around near the Airstrip? Sooner or later, someone was bound to fly in.
He did but Amelia Earhart was a no show
@@SailorJamesi see what you did there 😂🤘👍..
Croc shoes anyways……

Can you swim here or get eaten by crocs?😮
Yes 😂
Props for the hat looks like Eddie Van Halen and Gilligan had a baby
Yes it’s my “Eddie Van Sailing” hat
Just trying to study the captain cook explore vessel. How do you spell it? Thanks
HMS Endeavour
Starting to seem like your never aussy land
Do you mean never leave? We sailed 2145NM up Australia’s east coast (that’s not even the entire coast) at roughy 5 miles an hour. It takes a while.
@SailorJames yeah brain works better than my thumbs lol
U ought to shorten the intro
Sorry sister I am not hiring for the director position
Thank you for your unique approach. Your videos are a real find in the world of UA-cam.🍒🦅🐵
