I remember getting an enigma berry in USUM from an event Pokémon and I'm glad I was smart enough to grow it at the Poké Pelago. 999 enigma berries later, I haven't even used one. But hey, I got 999 of them so that's cool I guess

They have strong teams so you get good experience from them. Up to four of these trainers appear each day.. it was great I still don’t kno why they didn’t have this in sword an shield one thing England has plenty of its cafes an food stops or the Valor Lakefront like in Diamond an pearl the restaurant at the Valor Lakefront by the Grand Hotel, there are always a handful of new trainers every day to battle you, they change every day, Your able to battle between 9am and 11pm but it gave you more to do. Especially daily an weekly. Battles in Pokémon centers were cool too, why did they get rid of those??? They’d start out low levelled but progress to be really high levelled and so this is only around after you beat the elite four. The trainers move each day but, you can battle them every day and get a load of experience. The swarms broadcasts on t.v… Pokémon mansions like in X an Y was expecting a lot of that maybe u could battle the maids too. berries I used to go to royal avenue In the Thrifty Megamart in Royal Avenue, you're can get a free sample from this clerk. The free sample is of a berry. You can get one sample a day and the berry changes each day. I mean it’s no berry master but it will do I guess.
You got a few things wrong here: Normal Box and Gorgeous Box are obtained from Gift Pokemon in Stadium, not Stadium 2. The Berserk Gene works on *any* Pokemon in Gen 2, not just Mewtwo. The Soul Dew was actually obtainable in Gen IV from Pokemon Battle Revolution.
The most shocking thing about the secret items in the video is the fact that the Enigma Berry wasn't made obtainable until Sword and Shield. Would've figured that the Enigma Berries would have been made available sooner but apparently not.
i genuinely wanna say i was a little iffy on the new thumbnail direction a few months ago, but now after its had time to sink in with me, theyre my favorite thumbnails on youtube, original art for the video makes it feel like the title card of a cartoon and is so much more visually appealing then red arrows and circles
On the God Stone, I thought I had heard a theory that it was going to be the DNA splicer, and it was supposed to be "broken", and could only add one dragon at a time

Game Freak just decides which Pokémon are legendary and which aren't. Rotom has the legendary battle theme playing when encounteted, but it is not considered one. You just can't know for sure lol
Strange Balls have such a cool design. Like, I can't think of any reason as to why you can't pass them onto breeding. They could make it so the offspring could have the same types of Hisuian Pokéballs as their parents too!

While I dislike the way they distribute promotional items and Pokémon now in such an impersonal way, I do appreciate how they have done such a good job at making everything universal across the different countries. Items locked behind regional barriers, or behind certain versions of a game like the old gen three berries, it’s all just a hassle.
The Tentacool doll and Surfing Pikachu dolls in Gen 2 were actually unique Mystery Gift items earned by mystery gifting with Pokemon Stadium 2. I had them both legitimately on Pokemon Crystal back in the day.
You might be misremembering. Due to a coding error the Tentacool Doll, Pikachu Bed, and Unown Doll aren't obtainable as intended. Other decorations can still be received through mystery gift, however.

Gamefreak foresaw the future of competitive scene collapsing due to the existence of the Berserk Gene and decided to eradicate it early on before any significant damage occurs
It really wouldn’t be that bad. In singles you just send out the mon that counters the gene user and that’s that. In doubles you have far more frequent use of protect, which the confusion would still have a chance to activate on, and 1 in 3 is common enough to where it absolutely can lose you the game. Besides, this is game freak. Saying they have any idea of what balance is is a joke given the power creep bar.
@@9Destra most of the mons that get own tempo are bad in the first place, and the few that arent tend to be support, like tinkaton (who has no attack stat anyway, even gigaton aint saving it), and mudsdale, who is just kind of ok. most of the mons left are not fully evolved or are special attackers. flamigo is the closest thing to a scary mon with tangled feet, and it always wants to run scrappy anyway.

@@9Destra misty terrain only blocks nonvolatile status. bulbapedia directly states that confusion is not blocked. the only mons that gain anything from berserk gene beyond the +2 are unburden mons, which sounds more like a cool strategy than anything for a bunch of lackluster mons and hawlucha (who, these days, is also fairly lackluster). its "nerf" is losing 5% to its accuracy. you are sacrificing your item slot to use it. doubles is probably full of counterplay and as a singles player i dont see much that could be a true danger with all of the ways to deal with it in the format.
I'm honestly wondering why they didn't bring back the Pink Bow as the Fairy-type equivalent to the other type-boosting items. I mean, sure, we got the Fairy Feather in Scarlet/Violet, but we really should have had one back in X/Y.

if you need to farm money in Gen 2 you can just dupe glitch things like rare candies, I think they sell for like 10k and you can just dupe as many as you want

It's actually only wild Mewtwo encountered in GSC that hold Berserk Gene... problem is, there are no wild Mewtwos in Gen 2. And even if there were, it would immediately consume the Berserk Gene, denying you the opportunity to get it.

Know what's funny is that many of the Gen 2 berries mirror those of the first few from Gen 3 onwards in terms of effects & probably flavors
Im pretty sure you can get enigma berries if you trade a pokemon into the next generation if that generation doesn’t have that kind of berry.
