    Any riff this guy makes is always golden. I'm never not inspired.

    Wow I really like this pedal. It gives your tone some really rich harmonics and makes every note very clear. Just a very full and thick sound coming from it.

    I love how you just play in such a "No bullshit" style. It gives a much more realistic look at the pedal. Subbed.

    This is actually pretty neat, it has that late 80's metallica vibe to it (at least to me) because of how they used to slave their marshalls into their mesas (or maybe vice versa?)

    like how you can dial it in for a "cleaner" crunch tone and keep clarity or get it a little more dirty. So I've been using a sprectraflex cable per your recommendation in one of your older videos. Went with the original series, but I saw you had a fatso flex. Is it worth the extra $$ in a studio situation, or just better for gig situations?

    Hey Fluff, have you ever tried running an overdrive both in front AND in the FX loop? In the FX loop ads a ton of mids, sustain, and cut for a live mix and makes the amp like twice as loud

    I appreciate them trying. But I own a Jubilee and that doesn't appear to have the characteristic of that amp... At all. Might be the amp you were putting it into though

    • @Timmsie95
      @Timmsie95 8 років тому +1

      Considering he put it through a Dual Rectifier, is imagine it sounds completely different. He mentions that he used it in more of a traditional sense, rather than putting it through a clean amp to get a Silver Jubilee sound. I've heard clips of it that do make it sound more like a Silver Jubilee though.

  • @pierrepoulain6770

    Can it be used like an od pedal on a lead channel?

    • @MB-yw3pv
      @MB-yw3pv 7 років тому

      he used it over an already distorted tone, you can still hear the Dual Rec in the tone thought, would of been better to hear the pedal on a clean channel to hear just the pedal

      Ah okay. I must have misunderstood. On a previous video you said you had to use alot of light to get the room lighting right... or something like that.
      So do you have a recommendation for someone who doesn't have a $3000 camera that makes all lighting beautiful?

      +8 Strings Of Death
      Lots of people like to purchase LED lightbars and give them an "iced" finish or put translucent tape over then if they're completely clear to give a more even coverage of what's being lit up. I don't know how expensive they are though depending on where you are.

    self admitted guitar and amplifier noob. i'm embarrassed to ask and prepared with teflon vest for the answers i'm sure i'll deserve: are pedals like this run through the clean channel of an amplifier to create the tone generated from the pedal or is it run through the high gain channel to further enhance/dirty up the already higher gain distortion?

    • @you_tube618
      @you_tube618 8 років тому

      Most of the time drive pedals are run through the clean channel. An exception is using an overdrive with the level at 10 and the drive at 0 in front of a high gain amp, which gives a nice mid range boost and tightens up the low end.

  • @e.g.systems6146

    Pedal? Meh.. It's pretty good. But you sir, are the riffy riffmeister. I keep listening to demos and thinking "Oooh, that high line really works with that low chord riff!" or "Wow, beefy riff meets great chord harmony!". Like... every time... Talent can be annoying you know... just sayin'.... :O)
