Should've went in actual detail how this was accomplished like what's required welding,brackets what needed to be modified and a how too.

Those do look great in there! I really like the 2002 seats I put in my 87 hatch, especially how the rears came out, but I'd be tempted to try some S550 seats after seeing this. Great job!

I don’t know what’s my problem. I’m definitely not an experienced fabricator. I also have base model s550 seats, maybe RECARO mounts are different than the base seats, but the seats I have are pretty far off from my car (91 hatch). None of the holes line up, the seat itself (sitting on the ground side by side) sits 2.5” higher from the seat cushion to the bottom of the steering wheel). So far on the passenger seat I’ve shortened the track itself, I’ve pie cut the frame to try and lower the seat. It now fits, and I can make it bolt in, but now I have to consider if I can make the driver seat fit. If not, doing the passenger seat was a waste of time. I love the way the seats feel in my 2020 and thought they’d be a good option until I got a set. Most of the videos I’ve watched just build spacers for the mounts which would actually raise the seat even more. I’m 6’3” with long legs, I need the seat low!

Why don’t u guys just show how u narrowed the bottom seat to make it fit that would a better way of showing it I have done these conversions and the entire rear seat is a lot higher than that package tray ur talking about
Because we've done hundreds of how-to videos and nobody watches them.
I hear u 80 percent of the people want to know how to do it I’m not criticizing ur video in fact it looks excellent on that car ur putting together door panels to match is the main conversion issue maybe if and when u finish the interior completed people I’m sure will start asking a trillion questions. Rock on brother as always ur builds are excellent
