WOW! This video is so crazy and it reminded me of myself. I had a bestfriend that I've known since the age of 5 & we came up in the same church together. We were so close, I could talk to him about anything. High school hit, & you know you go through crazy things in relationships. Well my bestfriend let me know that he was tired of seeing me cry & wanted to be with me. I wasn't having it, but months went by and I gave it a shot. He always told me he wouldn't hurt me & this & that. Needless to say my bestfriend hurt me more than any of my ex's did. He broke my heart to the core of no return. And it hurts so bad because he was my bestfriend & some I felt would never betray me. I definitely say be very careful, and tell each other what you expect out of the relationship. You definitely don't want to be like me, it's been almost 7 years since I've spoken a word to that man.

Honestly, if the relationship ended on good terms (regardless of who initiated the break up) then the ex is most probably having trouble kicking old habits, is bored and hasnt found someone new to focus on. Even though on paper no one has done anything wrong.....as Rachelle says, prepare yourself- this trio is about to become a duo.

I say all the time, I befriend no one my man is friends with because they owe me nothing. You owe that ''friend'' no explanation because you were probably just cordial, as it's not stated that after the breakup y'all out on brunch or anything. I just hope they aren't hooking up, because coming from bestie you need to be girlfriend not FWB lol. But like you said, she needs to think this through because when she and dude were platonic, it was no problem for a girl to allow her in, BUT now that she and him will not be able to tell future partners that you're just friends...that line has been crossed. When that relationship is over, your whole bond has to go just like how his ex will be moving on soon and it will only be hi and bye.

Don't date your friend. He's your friend's ex and also he is YOUR friend so if things sour you will lose your friend. In the rare case that y'all can remain friends it will never be the same.
