And usually active subs are more powerful and efficient when you get to the higher end, for example now RCF has a 6800 watt rms or 13600 watt peak subwoofer!

Yes, it was some comb filtering. We did this only for this video. They should be used on top of eachother, the upper one flipper upside down so the HF driver get coupled.
4 TW audio T24N tops (144db) paired with those subs is a killer system. Loud and clear even at a distance. you probably need 8 subs to keep up with just 4 T24N tops. Love RCF gear though
I heard/tested the T24N tops with b30 subs. Nothing "wow" that would justify the price. Meanwhile I went for rcf TTL6A which kills the T24N in any possible way. When you hear a 139db top killing a 144 one, you realise how pumped up the specs are in this market.
I upgraded it even more. I bought the TTL6A tops which raise the sistem value to about 50k. But its worth it. Its very portable considering the power...
The best part of this video is -- predicting the exact second the two poor speakers perched atop the crazy-high tripod stands will just keel over and die an uncertemonius death.

For techno music I would buy at least 15 inch subwoofers. Try the 905 or even one 8003 sub. Both will do the job! If you have more cash, go for 2 subs.

I dont know why I saw your comment only now...Sorry for the late response. Well, one TTL6 per side its much better than 2 x tt22 per side, on terms of quality and much louder. But, for most mobile events the TT22 are easier to deploy. As for subs, yes. One 9006 per side is very nice. They are amazing subs. Also consider the new TT4 tops. They are amazing. Somewhere beetween the tt22 and the ttl6. Very nice sounding.

Hello! About 2.000 indoor and 1.000 outdoor. The subs can go much further but the tops are not enough for them. That's why I upgraded to RCF TTL6 tops and now the system can cover up to 3.000-3.500 indoor and 2.500-3.000 outside.
No, I did not feel any issues. Especially because the subs have long excursion drivers, which are better than many 18inch subs...But meanwhile I upgraded the tops to TTL6As and it's heaven on earth...
@@DobixIdealSound Interesting. I read somewhere that 15" mains and 15" subs might not be a good combination, but no reasons were given. Seems they can work fine. The TT series seem to be especially good speakers with many advantages over even the other RCF speakers.

Salut. Se folosesc cate doi pentru ca sunt mono. Au o singura intrare/iesire. Dar am fost in unele cazuri si cu unul singur si doua TT25MK2 la 200-250 persoane fara probleme. De noi au fost scumpi rau. Undeva la 4500e bucata. Acum se gasesc pe la 4000-4500e perechea SH.

Hello! The TT1 will give you better sound when used with a sub. if you are planing to buy only the tops and use them full range, the TT22MK2 is better.
In most of the aplications it is not a big problem. Usually the TT25 are very versatile and can be used in many ways. But the best one its on top of eachother. Not like in this video.
It is very important not to use Audio Mid-High boxes directly side by side. This will produce a poor quality sound cancelling out perfectly, which reduces overall output. Defined by the way our ears work, their position on our heads and the brain's understanding of the signals they produce, each ear will hear two sources in the horizontal plane very close together, but very slightly misaligned in arrival time. With our ears positioned on each side of our head, rather than on the top and bottom, they are very good at pinpointing precisely a sound in the Horizontal plane (i.e. it's exact position left to right in the sound field). Vertically (trying to pin point sound up and down) they are far less accurate and have a greater tolerance for error. Recieving multiple signals so phase coherent, but misaligned horizontally, leads the brain to get confused, which in turn leads it to interpret a confused poor quality, low intelligibility sound.

The TTS56A subs are incredible. Huge power but you need 4 people to carry them. Think twice before buying. I would go with more TTS18A subs instead.
