- This a brief comparison of the RCF TT25A-II and the RCF NX45A. I mention the JBL SRX815P and the BassBoss DV12 and JBL VRX932LAP as in my other videos. I purchased these speakers directly from dealers and did not get any compensation for this video. I make these videos for other consumers so they can make their own decision on what speakers to purchase. Enjoy the video.

Great video and review. It is hard to tell the subtle differences between speakers from a video. I own TT series subwoofers and they are absolutely phenomenal, tough as nails too. Had one roll of my trailer, down a sidewalk and tumble into a bush. Didnt phase it at all.
Took your advice and have just ordered two RCF TT25a Mk 2 and 2 x RCF 8004AS subs and now have to have the painful wait for about 10 weeks until they turn up. This review made my mind up on it and finalised any queries I may have had regarding the others in the range so i thank you! All the best.
Over subs, put them in L2 and let em Rip.
If you wanna get insane or you’re outdoors, put them in F2, but that’s gonna crush people’s lives so be careful where u use that setting.

Love my RCF 32a speakers. Love bassboss subwoofers. Thinking the RCF TT for upgrade with my bassboss 18subs would rock!! Awesome reviews keep them coming. Best PA reviews hands down.

Tt had a teeny raspy sound
RCF TT series is absolutely amazing. In the price range they blow everything else away. Only super high end brands costing 5 figures like Martin, D&B, L'Acoustics can have an edge on RCF TT. I have RCF TT 10-As and they are loud enough to peel the skin off your face while delivering audiophile grade quality.
@nicholaspetino7901 Thank you very much. I'm now thinking about the TT22 or Nx32. (NX932 is too heavy, and didnt like the Art932 sound) My question is: when you connected both to a sub, did you do change anything to the tops? Like did you change a preset, or put a filter? Or you did nothing to the tops, and the TT25 sounded much better just like that. Meaning, I wanna know, what caused it to sound much better, just adding a sub, will do it, or I have to put a filter? And if you used a filter, what filter did you use? (And, if you only used a filter/preset for the TT and not the NX, then its not comparing apples to apples. True?) Thanks so much, your'e the only one I'm relying.

Hi, For 70%dj and 30%live you prefer NX45A , HDM45-A or 745mk4? I incline for hdm45-A but I'm not an expert. I would like to make a good purchase

On the user manual, RCF says that the knob on the NX series is a trim, it's simply the volume of the speaker and should be used at max. It's not a gain or input sensitivity knob, can you confirm that ? If so, I don't understand why there's that indicator in the center position...
you don`t need to push the potentiometer at max.
RCF have tons of watts even at 30% of the volume
when used with a sub ie RCF 8003 asii what presets did you use ? also do you set to 0 db or take some off ?

Since the NX series don’t have any high pass filters will that cause issues if using over a sub or can most subs high pass the tops?

How would the TT10a high-passed compare with the NX45a high-passed over a sub? i like the weight and high quality of the TT10a, but the 4" voice coil is appealing in the 45 models.
I don’t have any experience with the TT10’s but I Can’t imagine that the TT10 high passed would be able to produce “better” sound than the NX45 properly tuned. In SPL alone, you’re gonna have to push those TT’s to produce the same volume which may cause distortion.
They are completely different speakers used for different things. I guess u can try but a full range 10” to a 15” will sound much different, even tuned

@@aaronl7669 this video was many years ago, I’ve moved on from all of those speakers. They’re all gone. I have the new Art945 and they are amazing. Sound much better than the NX45a and they’re cheaper and easier to find currently

Thanks for the video! Do you only use TT25-A II with ES18P or with the other subs like TTS 18-A II? Which sub is sufficient for that amazing sound?
I also pair my TT25-A II with ES18Ps and they match up well. The yorkvliles are rated 1600w rms compared to the tts18-a II which is only 1000w rms.
@@SSJGML123 Actually TTS 18-A II is 1400W RMS, but watts are meaningless, SPL is all that counts and ability to sustain high quality sound all the way up to red which is where RCF shines. I'm sorry to say this, but TTS 18-A II would absolutely crush your yorkie which is not even in the same league.
When the RCF HDM 45 A review is coming? Is it ok to play ttsA15 sub with hdm45a, or it must be the 18 sub?

If i dont use rdnet. Is the tt still superior to the nx , only be using at 50-60 % volume . Is nx adjust eq can brung it close to the tt or the clarity on tt is on another level?
Can you say the wood is better for bass or does 745a not make that plastic resonant noise...i own rcf only plastic ones? Upgrading soon
Nicolas what RCF speaker is better- RCF HDM 45 A or the RCF Art 945 A?
They’re very close. I have both. My experience with them is the ART945 has more bass output.
The HDM has RDNET and much more presets for different sound adjustments, it also has delay and RDNET. If you never use those features then you may not care. The 945 is louder but you see the clip light. The hdm gets a little distorted at higher volumes but u don’t see the limit light as prevalent. It’s a tough decision but in my opinion, if you’re using subs all the time, maybe the HDM is better for you. If you’re not using subs and are just using tops, then the 945 may be better for you. The 945 will just need an external crossover when using subs because the presets on the back don’t work nearly as well as the HDM built in presets.
My go to lately has been the 945 and the HDM hasn’t been going out. On Larger events 150 people or more, I move to my TT series stuff
@@nicholaspetino7901 thanks for replying to me! Are the 945’s heavy? Also where did you purchase them? KPO DJ? I’m trying to find them. Nobody has them in stock. I’m buying that 945’s now! By the way I was going to daisy chain them to my EV Evolve 50’s because I am clipping the Evolves at every job I play. Also are the TT series that much better then the 945’s? I’m sure they are heavier because they are wood boxes.
Something you need to consider is that BassBoss don't calcuate or measure their speakers cheaply like most other manufacturers. The BassBoss actually goes slightly louder than the TT25A-II while going a little bit lower as well. But it's ok if you don't like the sound personally, just don't knock it based on it's 126db rating because that's completely unfair especially when they rate their speakers using more real world situations.

They are a different class of speakers. Nxl24 is a collom array. Tt25 is a cabinet.
The tt hits harder on the Lf and the hf feels as if it’s pushing further

TT1 is a 10 inch and the TT22 is a 12 inch, are you asking which is louder ?

@@francescog53550 I dont own the tt1 but do own the tt2, the 10 inch driver in the tt1 will give you more vocal clarity more pronouce the tt22 should be more mid forward. both will sound good.
Bass on NX-45 sounds LOT better in this video than in real life. I am long time user of NX-45, and it's a great box for use with subwoofer, clear mids and highs, but it's not for standalone use, there is no bass at all, it really sounds FLAT :) Any plastic box from ART series will have more bass than NX-45.

I personally liked our 8005’s better than the TTS18a-II.
I’m not familiar with the Bassboss sub you’re referring to but an 18 vs a 21, the 21 is probably gonna have the edge

TT-5a must be realy amaizing
The TT5 is a very different animal. Its meant to be used as either a front center fill for a larger line array system, a high ouput club box, delay box etc. Its really meant more for install purposes and touring than DJ or Entertainment companies. You could use it for that but thats a big box to be carrying around. It weighs almost twice as much as the TT25 does. It also uses different internal components as well.

Art 945 vs hdm45, 135 vs 133 db with same hardware... For a dj setup without sub wich is the best?
The hdm 45 is better in my opinion than the Art 945, mainly because of the low end output and audio throw over a farther distance. The Art is a much better look and cab design though, cause the hdm eggshell shape sucks for storage and not as visually appealing.

Hi can you compare the tt25 to the tt05? And ttl6? Or even the tt02 or tt08? Curious if the more costly one sounds even better.
Had the TT6, it’s a nice speaker but extremely expensive for the output level. If you want something that in my opinion is “better”, check out the new TT5a-II, they are unbelievable and can kill the TT6’s
