Please give me your opinion. Where is not good Let me improve.

Thank you for watching the video. please support me. Thanks you very much. love everyone.
That was incredible, you don't get to see stuff like this very often.
Great job, the only thing that worries me is that mould all over the box that stayed.
It lets the sub play down to 15Hz.
@@o0Donuts0o As a 90s car audio enthusiast, I approve this statement lol hahaha.
He sanded it off
exactly you are right sir❤👌⚙️👍🏻
No worry about the interior mold who will be dislodged by the vitrations and mixed with the ambiant air by the speaker movement... Why not sand the interior or at least clean it while the side is opened!
Doesn't matter, YT views check out.
They probably threw it away again.
Nice video. Where did you find the PCB board you replaced.
Anyone in the business seeing potential of something others dont is priceless. Hopefully you can pass this on to others who will be your successors. The gift stays intact because you create a legacy
This was my first job after University in Viet Nam. Toluene is quite toxic and I had to use it to soften glue all day and inhale it. This video brings back a lot of memories 👍👍
It works great though. Almost any kind of adhesive is no match.
I appreciate all of the great camera angles that you used so we could really see all the intricate work that you did on this amazing piece. Stunning repair work - so intricate and well-thought out.
O
Love what you do. But please do narrate to us step by step what you are doing, what tools and chemicals you are using so that we learn also..
In throw away world, thisnis refreshing to see. Most ppl these days do not have the skills or patientce to do anything like this so they say " easier to buy a new one". This guy does great work. May not be financially cheapet to rebuild but is alot better than new
😂😂😂"rebuild better than new"😂😂😂😂. You for real,cuz?
@@kamaumike6873 its not that its "better" its that he has the skills to do what he does. Im sure ypu couldnt do what he did, i can and do as much as possible. Throw away society now days. Ive been installing car stereo for the last 28 years , trust me when i say there are alot of amps and subwoofers that are older that are much better than brand new ones. Kids are raised to just throw stuff away now, no one even cares to try and fix anything, its kind of a lost art. I remember when there were shops to repair tvs and stereos, now they get tossed and a new one bought. The throw away generation has created shitty build products thay are designed to last a short time and be thrown away. Its a bad cycle, make trash, throw in trash, buy new trash. Fills our landfills
I wish I had his skills for electronics I rebuild machanical stuff and tools saves allot of money
@@erik120719 I fixed an old work clock I found in a bin once. Took me 2 hours haha. Rust on the "motor" contacts. All those quartz clocks use a resonant crystal stepped down through a digital counter to a "motor" that flips 180 degrees of rotation every second. This is then reduced through a 30:1 reduction to run the second hand, a further 60:1 to run the minute hand, and a further 12:1 to run the hour hand.
I have just rebuilt 4 x 7” speakers for my home AV system
Great attention to detail !!
I could happily listen to that rain on the roof all night !
Great work.
But as many restaurations, i ask to myself : why not buying a New one or a second hand ?
Parts, products, time cost much money.
Pleasure to do, of course.
Sometimes with vintage gear like this, new ones are just not available, and used ones can be prohibitively expensive because of their unique sound. In that case, the restoration absolutely makes financial sense. I myself once had a bass amp speaker reconed so as not to lose the unique sound of the amp.
Great Man I use to repair music system in my elder age but without any such available tools. Recalled those days! Good Video!
Mantab, luar biasa, terampil, dan sangat cerdas.
Dari barang rongsok, menjadi indah, bermanfaat kembali.
Matur nuwun bro💪
I wish I had a magical junkyard to pull stuff out like these guys do🤷♂️
And a magical liquid that repairs circuits by washing them.

Nice music played at the end. 🎉

Initially, I thought to myself, what was the actual point of restoring this subwoofer. However, after watching this video, I must say that I am indeed impressed.
Which Type of glue do you use for the foam edges etc ?
Good job
Amazing, I miss the days of subs and mps in cars. Great resto job 👍
the vibration/isolation ring on the speaker, what is its purpose, apart from looking good, shouldn't it not have been between the speaker and the cabinet ?
Never seen speakers repaired and refurbished before, pretty cool. Subbed.
Nice restoration , well done. Any recommendation of what glue to use when the spider has losen a bit from the cone... The subwoofer is as good as new.. just played too hard with it. :(
Clean installation.Very well professionally done.Enjoyed video
Hello, great job golden hands you have. How was it possible to be so careless with the equipment of previous people? How much peak power does this little guy play
This is calming
that sub had seen some life. nice restoration
What do you use to get the glue off or loose
I here look restoration of power full..subwofer.good
Amazing work, great presentation.
very good work, i have a question for you, what's the liquid you use to remove the adhesive??
Any reply on these?
Try acetone
Nice work! Not sure I would take that much time on a JBL product though. Lol
Junk Blasting Loudly.
I love restoration, may you be restored too anytime you wear out.
Just ask the Cybermen... :)
Great Job on the restoration
Really super work 👍
Very botched when replacing side Panel. Should be more careful /methodical when removing wood panels to not cause excess Damage. Did not cut replacement panel correctly Either.
I'm speechless seeing this attention to details work you've done. It's very professional, love it. I'm watching from Nigeria, please where in the world are uploading this video? Will like to get in touch with you ❤❤❤❤🎉
A made-in-USA JBL subwoofer is made of paper, I can't believe that.
BTW, everything of the subwoofer has been changed, what's the difference from making a new one?!
You sir are an artist an a master!!!!Great, beautiful job!!
Pretty sure ur supposed too play music through a speaker and not someone in the background blasting a hammer into sheet metal I've heard a lot of rock headbanging music but this take the piss all you've proved is movement 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 well done
Exellent renewed electronic devices speaker
Amazing skill...
PERFEITO ! só o Sound ficou a desejar. Mas talvez esse não era o objetivo. Mas creio que 100%❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Was erwartest du? Mir würde so was nicht ins Wohnzimmer kommen. Nicht mal in den Party Keller
Good job, What spray paint you were using on the box after painting it.
If this were most other restoration channels the wood would be rusting.
What is the liquid used to dissolve the glue? Brand? Where can it be bought?
What spray is that?
Mhhh moldy wood on the inside🤤 🫣🤦♀️
what liquid are you using to remove the glue
This man has great skills
Bravissimo, veramente un ottimo lavoro 👏👋❤️
Impressed by the work and skill put in, but I would just buy a new sub...😁
OH MY GUSH!! you're a truly artist !!!!
I really enjoy watching this.
Thank you very very good...
You are a genious,,,, better i bet than the original from factory :) well done
Can you list all the liquids you used? Thanks
🔥🔥🔥
glue, and glue remover.
Great job. What chemical did you use for softner the old membrane and cone? And what did you use for glue back?
Good👍👍👍
Hello, at 3:55 you show a clear bottle with a blue top. What is in this bottle please? It looks like you are using it to break down the adhesive. Would you please tell me what this is? Excellent video and I have subscribed to you channel. Thank you! Cheers - Luther
Excellent skills and job !!
Could just got a brand new one lol
he turned the speaker into audio pipe
Much respect bro you really take pride in wat u do keep it up
So satisfying to watch.
Seeing made in USA made me sad. We don’t have things made in the US anymore. Good job.
unbelievable work bro❤⚡👌⚙️👌👍🏻👍🏻
Beginning when he was turning up the volume it sounded like gun shots. At least a .22LR but overall good work on restoration
Excellent 👌 work on the box though. The paint work is wicked bruh!
And here I was, thinking the only thing to be saved was the control board. What was wring with it? Was the board cracked? I saw it bowing when he was ripping it out lol.
How many watts ???
What kind of liquid applied at beginning...
Excellent restoration 👍
incredible. what is name of the liquid used for cleaning PCB.
Where did you get all the speaker parts?
Looks pretty powerful, but these days, I am more into Full Range. Stereo full range speakers, create a virtual depth that these 7.1&7.2s can't even come close two. Twin subs( left&right) are all the jazz!
I have 2 jl audio 15 inch woffers I was trying to see how much you charge to repair them
Very nice efficient work!
Good job 👌🏻
so interesting it almost hypnotizes me. cheers
Well done in restoration the subwoofer. I just wonder how it sounded like compare to the orginal one. It's more important than the look!!
Should have played music instead of sound fx
😊😊😅😅😅
Thats what my truck stereo would sound like if i had a stack of pots and pans on my back seat
I am amazed! Great job ❤
correct work👍
U know it's hitting when you hear his shop walls vibrant
