@@NovaKJ138 first time I ever heard her she was on Merv Griffin and sang "Don't Cry out Loud" but can't find that beauty on the internet ! Any help would be appreciated if anyone can find !
Eva Peron was the great woman who improved the lives of Argentines. She fought for women's rights, she helped the downtrodden, since she was downtrodden herself at one time. She complimented her husband, Juan. Women all over the world should admire this noble woman. I saw "Evita ", the play & the movie.
Gorgeous performance by Andrea Mcardle, beautiful orchestrations, and a very touching tribute to a widely misunderstood woman. No, Eva Peron was not a saint, but she was not a devil either. She fought to make the lives of women and the poor of Argentina better; she supported women's suffrage, and by the end of her life, hated the very existence of poverty and the economic conditions that kept millions downtrodden. She was a fascinating woman who did far more good in her life than many people know. Thanks for this video!
uh if I could only understand what she was singing, her pronouncing is really bad. and not as powerful as Andrea's voice, I don't agree that the original is always the best
One of the most under recognized, superb voices of our time.
100000% agreed

I sooooo love this! Andrea's voice is timeless!
Andrea really pulls this off. Wasn't sure her vocal style would work but in the end she did this strong song justice.

Wow! A beautiful rendition of a much-recorded song. Love McArdle's voice.
I had to hesitate on this one. Brilliant. I so wish we could've seen more of her. She is our Piaf. The powers that be are such F ups IMO.
She just gets better and better
A great woman singing about a great woman.

How old was she when she made this cover? Was she still a kid or a teenager?
Molly Lea no , in 20's or 30's .
The CD "Andrea on Broadway" from which this was taken, was released in 1996, when she was 32 years old.
Wonderful compilation of Eva Peron life. However, the original singer is always the best and there is no comparison to Patti LuPone.
