She didn't screw up. She was in a studio recording her album. I think someone at this level with all the people around her working on her album would have noticed and would have redone the track. She does some styling on the word "way" but it's no mistake. She does that live as well. I know this lady and she does that little lick on that word at the end all the time. Trust me. It was no mistake.

As a high schooler, the drama teacher we had at the school (who had to put up with me when I was in 2nd Grade) would call me "Andrea McArdle" because of this actress who played Annie on Broadway. Funny enough, when I was 10 years old, I had a hairstyle like Annie's...only I was brown haired, not redheaded like Annie herself. It's one damn good excuse why Annie is one of my favorite musicals. And yes, my real name is Andrea - not Andrea McArdle, though.
