Insta-cloning involves some form of matter replicator thingee, if you're replicating the person, replicating the person with clothing just skips a step. I assume the rifle that appeared out of nowhere is also replicated.
It was interesting watching it after knowing they end up marrying, there's one part where David Tennant is trying not to smile when he's supposed to be annoyed at her and it's the cutest thing.
In the story, I think the Hath attacked right after Jenny stepped out (too lazy right now to check). In reality, however, to have two extra characters (Donna and Martha's children) that needed scenes where their parents are adjusting to their existence as well as the Doctor adjusting to Jenny may have been too complicated for a 45 minute episode. Not to mention what to do with the children afterwards.
Tennant's last speech while dying of radiation..."it's not fair! I could have done so much more!" Sums up how I felt about Jenny. Those two could have easily sparked a great two seasons worth of content alone. It just wouldn't be fair to have any other doctor reunite with her though :/
Mildred Halprin AAAAAAnd she gave birth to a daughter. So she is the Doctor´s daughter, who played the Doctors daughter, married the Doctor and gave birth to the Doctor´s Ddaughter. And YOU thought River Song was complicated.
It's a shame Doctor Who is terrible now. I stopped watching after the Master came back as a woman, every episode after Season 6 (Season 5 and 6 will never compare to 1-4) was just a massive disappointment. The 50th anniversary was good I suppose though, just because David Tennant was in it.
Quality has decreased, and last season was a complete disaster, but there are still some very good episodes. In fact, the speech at the end of the Zygon Inversion is probably my favourite scene of Doctor Who, ever.
Mich 1404 Probably because we only see her once. That's my guess anyway. Like he now has a daughter. There isn't even a break off series about her. She never returns either.
@@brick-x7p I kinda like the idea that they were trying to do in the 90s where Susan wasn't exactly his grandaughter and that she confused him with his original grandfather. Obviously leaving aside the whole reincarnation thing and the whole thing about The Other that they were trying to make. That isolated concept could be a great fix to solve that mystery.
IT'S SO WEIRD Georgia's dad is Peter Davison (5th Doctor) and then she married David Tennant (10th Doctor) and in Doctor Who Jenny (Georgia) is his daughter. SO technically, Tennant married the Doctor's daughter and HIS daughter if you look at it in that way.
Chris stone I really doubt that they know each other no. Jenny is the character in this episode that comes out of the machine and is the Doctor's daughter. They called her Jenny because it sounds similar to 'generate' or 'regenerate'
"Not impossible, just a bit unlikely" Doesn't that sum up just about every episode of DW? For example: It's not impossible that the daleks survived their previous encounter with the Doctor (and vice versa), just a bit unlikely. It's not impossible that Mickey's big yellow truck was strong enough to open up the TARDIS's heart so Rose could look into it, just a bit unlikely. I could go on for ages, but I think I've made my point. Anyway, 'not impossible just a bit unlikely' is probably why I love this show so much
The fact that the Daleks (and The Master, for that matter) keep coming back from annihilation is actually really irritating. When TARDIS-possessed-Rose wiped the Daleks out, she had the power to really get them *all*. And the Master choose to die and not regenerate... but back they both come due to the power of lazy writing. (Honestly, the best enemies the Doctor has faced in almost every episode starting in 2005 have been new and, usually, one-offs. The Angels. The Vash Narada. The Sentient Water of Mars. Etc.) At some point, it's like Batman locking someone up in Arkham: you know it's for a couple of months before they're back in circulation.
That is perhaps one of the most interesting ideas for a Doctor Who episode. I don't remember how well the episode turned out, as I haven't seen it in years. However, this scene shows the great chemistry between the 10th Doctor's best companions, and I actually enjoyed the 10th Doctor himself in this scene.
You know, I wonder if the reason he recognizes her as his daughter, is because she's a clone of his actual daughter. Way back when Doctor Who was first being aired, the First Doctor traveled with his granddaughter. That implies he's had a daughter or son, who then had Susan. So when seeing his daughter here, he immediately recognizes her.
Coming back to meet the Doctor again (Maybe 13th, Jodie) would be awesome to see the dynamic. It will be a mother/father daughter moment, imagine the confusion.
Haha! I just noticed that too! I was wondering if I missed something from the episode/ it got wrecked, emergency came up requiring them to leave without, or something... Glad its not just my imagination! xD
Taija Cahoon I think the Hath attacked right after Jenny stepped out (too lazy right now to check). It would've been interesting, though, to see what would've popped out from Donna and Martha's DNAs, especially Donna's.

That is the fifth doctors daughter in real life. Who then became married to David and they had... a daughter. Making "Jenny" the doctor's daughter AND the doctors daughters mom.
Oh man, this episode. The fact that they never brought Jenny back make the whole thing seem like a waste of time. : / Though, oh man, the makeup team really did a good job of making the actress look younger. It always throws me for a loop to think that she married her on screen "dad." xD
