What items you took with you to deal with flat tyre situation. 4 Also where did you buy screens and mattress. I have bought Y model recently trying to get used to it --I am in Victoria. Hi Mohan, thank you for your kind words. 1) we used a supercharger on the way to the site, so we had 80% left when we got there 2) non Tesla chargers is a tricky situation, you may need extentions. I'll make a vidio on this. 3) I have a flat tyre kit, maybe another quick short video I can make on this. 4) screens got from Tessories.com.au. Mattress I borrowed from a friend, who made it themselves but cutting a mattress topper. I'll make a video when I buy my own mattress :) We booked a powered campsite, so we just took our mobile charging cable that came with the Tesla and plugged it into one of the outlets there. Caravans use the same sockets as well. Free charging!! :) Main things we took was mattress, pillows, blankets, food &drinks, welcome mat to clean our feet, dust pan and brush. Haha thanks for sharing. That would have been a horrible experience. It rained lots that weekend, and luckily we put the car under the gazebo so the shoes didn't get wet. At 2.25, it was just for the video :)
thanks for the video, does Big 4 or most of the caravan park allow you to charge at power site, while camping? At times, the HVAC in Tesla are quite loud, i wonder if it will disturb the fellow campers at night, while using camp mode?
Great question! These were some of our worries as well. Anyway, they all should allow charging if you get a powered site. Caravans are always plugged in so it’s never an issue for the tesla to be plugged in too. Also, the car was super silent with the hvac on, we were quite surprised. Also since there was other caravans and tents around, we were the quietest. Where you might have an issue is if you don’t get a powered site, or go to a site where there’s only tents and no other caravans etc.
Yes we had no issues with the space for the Both of us. Wide enough to turn. And since the Y is so heavy, the car wouldn’t move when someone turns, which is great. In the morning we would invite Blanka to sleep with us as well, then it would get a little cramped.
Ahh Tesla do that sometimes, makes it super interesting when overtaking cars 😂 Jokes, we’re in Australia and we drive on the opposite of the road compared to the US.

No, I would say we were both pretty comfortable and had good enough space. If the mattress was longer, it would have been even better!
