FYI the exhaust manifold and turbo from the 1.8 l turbo diesel Jetta from the mid-2000s will directly bolt onto the side of the diesel engine in that corolla. With some injectors, new pump and some ECU tuning you could make some serious power with that lil diesel engine and it will rev to the Moon as well and still get 45 MPG!!
@@purpstatus have you ever seen a stage 3 built Jetta tdi? They make 400hp and we'll over 600ftlbs of torque with completely stock bottom end!! I suggest you go watch some UA-cam videos of some legitimate builders and tuners of the TDI Jetta engines . The diesel Corolla engine with the turbo and supporting modifications would make a good 220 HP and around 330 ftlbs maybe 350 ftlbs of torque
The C stands for "Corolla". The XXX represents a little crown. "Corolla" means "crown of a flower". It is a Corolla emblem. Many Japanese Toyotas have a emblem of the specific car, where the Australian model will just have a Toyota logo.
Soo...a little bit info about the car. It's a Corolla E110 Chassis. This specific model would be called CE113 (because of it's 3C-E Diesel Engine). The 3C-E Engine basically only exist in Japan. So you'll have quite an adventure looking for its part. The SE Limited is the highest trim level in every country that sells it, and the AWD is its rarer form.
How hard would it be to make the 4A blacktops from the AE110 corolla (Basically the same thing with the A series engine right?) work with the all wheel drive

normally yes but not neccessarily I had a Golf Tdi once that I got from a friend that got an Oilchange every year but only drove about 2000km between those. When I changed the Oil after I got it, it was like brand new. But yes normally its black

In South Africa we have the Toyota corolla RSI which is that exact car with a black top 20 valve(4AGE) minus the all wheel drive, that is super dope😂💪🏼
Just a quick note diesel oil will always look dark even when you recently done the oil change on it, just make sure they have done the oil change on it and you’ll be fine.
In South Africa. We are so hyped about this car because it came in a 4age with throttles standard from Factory. We got the silvertop and blacktop in the 20 valve in this exact shape. Pretty sure all south africans are proud of this purchase.
Jimmy after the east coast winter is over (I'm in pa soo I get it lol) you should utilize Tommy and get all the parts underneath cleaned up vapor blasted zinc plated and remove all the rust and restore this bad girl! That would be awesome to see!
As far as I know that the Toyota Corolla you now own has 2 different types of chassis: the 1ten model and the 1eleven modle. Both carry different shape head and corner lights and bumpers too
These kinda corollas are everywhere in New Zealand, early ones even came with blacktop/silvertop 4-AGEs. Then theres the trueno/levin family as well, its never ending with Toyota.
This is awesome, Toyota Corolla's are extremely common in Zim, but I haven't seen this spec especially the diesel 4x4 model. I have the 1.3l petrol and they are bulletproof, extremely reliable and easy to maintain as parts are readily available. I wonna engine swap it to a 1.5 petrol manual to get more power and fuel economy, its such an easy platform to work on and mod. Well done!!
here in aus we have corolla full time AWD wagons, pretty easy to make rwd, they came with a 4afe and go decent for a stock engine, 4age silvertop turbo !! thats what i was planning in my AWD wagon. quad throttle goodness

I love this. Huge corolla fan. You need the sprinter gt front bumper or the Carib bzr front to finish it off. A 3sgte engine n drive train will fit fairly easily from a caldina gtt.

From importers... just looked the other day at one for alil over $3,000 for engine and trans, so probably alil over 2k for just engine. Would love to see it.
I have a big ko4 turbo 03 vw tdi ported manifold slightly bigger cam and injectors are 80 over it puts out about 190-200 whp and 350-380 ft lbs and it still gets 50 miles to the gallon in my non race tune

That one definitely didn't come from the Jamaica r the islands but we ave the a lot with engine such as 5A, 7A, 20valve, 3s- gte and di big bad 2ZZ n some pan bottle 🍼. But I would love to see a 2zz turbo build that is able to drift. That would be interesting 😏
And for conversion keep it diesel, try see if a 130pd vw diesel engine asz engine would fit, the pd engines make really decent power and there's that many I'd say you could import a car to strip cheap enough

it's a mechanically injected diesel, doesnt need anything. Just turn the fuel screw up on the injector pump

2zz wouldn't handle a turbo for a daily unless they do a whole engine rebuild. The trans wouldnt be able to handle the power aswell.
