I'm glad its in the right hands It means alot to me to see these cars get saved instead of parted and scraped. Im currently saving a car that had similar damage except it got parted out and sat for 5 years so I have a little more work ahead of me until its perfect but its getting there. So stoked to see this one finished up.

Hey jimmy the axles are the same size on either diff, the axle stubs going into the r180 and r200 is what makes up for it being shorter for the r200 or longer on the r180!
A dose of dry ice would be worthwhile on this beauty more so as you can use it on parts of the interior without doing any damage. The hard part may be getting the new parts paint matched.

S chassis really are crazy, anyone could look at that smashed front end and think it's in need of serious repairs but you can tell that car was loved and still has good bones and a good body. Can't wait to see what y'all do!

S14 Silvia has the same fogs as my '96 se. They were so bright ppl flashed me all the time lol. I rewired them so I could turn the fogs on any time, even with the lights off, and they'd stay on when my brights were on as well lol. Man I miss my s14..I dunno why but mine had side marker/blinkers on the front fenders too.

R180 and r200 share the same axles and arms, but the subframes are different, you cant put an r200 diff in a r180 subframe :)
Needa go use Pappa Fyeaaa’s dry ice blaster to just make that undercarriage mintyyy PHresh!!

We put r180’s in with the 6 speed tranny swaps in 08-14 wrx and 09-13 SH Forester XT in Australia

Yo Jimmy, the axles are interchangeable. But the subframe is diffrent the two rear diff mounts are closer together on a r180 subframe so you can't just throw in a r200
I typically don't really care for S chassis content but even with the front end this mug is clean and i'm stoked to see the progression. Props to homie for caring and keeping the interior minty too.
