Do you live in like Vermont New Hampshire Maine area?? I’m from Long Island and I know that everyone north of us just got hammered with snow and I’m like thank God that we do not have snow in April
I wish it was snowing here in Wilmington, NC 🥲. Fat chance of that ever happening. I love snow more than anything, but that's probably because it never snows here and so I romanticize it 😆. Stay warm! x
The worst forearm (and thigh) shark injury photos I have seen are on 39yr old Nicole Moore who was attacked by a Bull shark in Cancun, Mexico in 2011. How she survived such a vicious attack (and questionable medical care in Mexico) is a miracle. Great show Hal.
That laugh oh my goodness a part of me always starts to laugh at his laugh, but then I’m like this man should not be wheezing like that. It’s the physician in me and the mom and me but every time he starts to laugh like that he laugh for so long that I have all of these thoughts, and then I end up going back to laughing at his laugh.
Another great show Hal. 🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈 That bronze whaler shark defiantly wanted Mr Morris out of the area because it probably wanted the fish. In the case of Mr Sidorovich, I suspect a white shark before a salmon shark.
Read Ferrar's account of his attack with the photos - pretty harrowing. Thanks for another good entertaining show. Your golfing tales make me want to watch Caddyshack again.🤣
You ever hear of an attack in naples florida ive lived here all my life and have never heard of one. I remember as a kid being out on the sandbar at sunset alot huntung sand dollars until it got dark. Gives me the creeps thinking about where we were aloud to swim as a kid. I got a hard bump once at sunset showing off for the michigan girls and swimming to the buey 50 yards off shore i grabbed the bouy to rest and that bump was hard. I swam back under water huging the bottom all the way in. I eventualy rran out of air and surfacing was scary as hell! But other than that luckily never has a problem besides jelly fish and sting rays. When i was a kid visibilty in our waters was 1 foot at best. Sting ray was the worst pain ever and pulling skip jack out of a net. Learned the hard way. But sting ray will make a man cry
@@Pensacolavixen we dont have many of those. I think its just luck because ive seen them. Just nobody been hit yet. Come summer peoole crying all over the beach from stingrays but no shark attacks. We dont even have jellyfish anymore. But there are lots of sharks but mostly black tips. But back in the bays you see bulls.
@sixfootben4892 Sarasota is not far from Naples and there have been shark attacks there… a tigershark attacked a guy a few years back, you probably were bumped by a shark.
I also live in Florida, and I was rocked or "bumped" while on a boogie board once. I never knew what it was but watching this channel makes me not even want to think about it lol.
@12:12 What Hal doesn't talk about (possibly saving it for another video) is Denis and Polina Udovenko were swimming in those waters just prior to the attack on Valery, and Denis lost both his arms in a shark attack. They were swimming near the border with North Korea, in Telyakovskogo bay.
GREAT SHOW HAL!!! i have to say you myself and my friend David all have the same luck! i wish we could all go fishing sometime cause i bet that trip we could make a comedy movie with our luck!!! my friend David is the only person i know that thought he had on one hell of a fish only to pull up a boot! i laughed so hard it hurt! and another place we go to we have our very own Christmas tree that's years round from all our bobbers and lures we lost in that damn tree!
Hey Hal, Love your show. Have you already covered or do you plan on covering the 3 GW attacks in the Sea of Cortez on divers using a hookah system? I think they’ve all happened in the last 5 or 6 years, with the two most recent in 2022 & 223. I think 1 or 2 of them were even decapitated. They all occurred in the late December/early January time frame, 2 in relatively close proximity. Those attacks have intrigued me because of the very similar circumstances. Would love it if you could do a deeper dive on those attacks. Cheers from North Carolina!
Hello from coastal Georgia! I’ve probably told you before, but it bears repeating, I loved listening to your fishing stories so much! I grew up in Ft Myers, Fla. and my brothers used to ride bikes to the river or beach all the time going fishing, so I grew up listening to fishing stories. I lost my brother Tony a couple of years ago, but one of my fondest memories of him was when he came home on his bike with this huge sea bass. It was hanging down his back; tail almost dragging on the ground! Some of the best fish I ever had… He had been hanging around the docks when a boat came in, and the guy didn’t want to clean the fish, so he sees this skinny kid, who probably hadn’t caught anything and gave it to him. Tony said people were honking and trying to buy it from him when he rode home with it. 🎣🐠🤣
Hey Hal I didn't get my notifications on this show or your show from 2 days ago I checked to make sure that notifications were on and they are. I'm so excited for both of your new shows. Can't wait for the next one 😊
We had lots of salmon sharks in Kodiak, Alaska. They were everywhere when the salmon would run. You could see the fins all over by where the rivers run into the ocean. They look like mini great whites!
20:53;An excellent read to be sure! I bought a dilapidated copy last year from E-xploitation Bay after a suggestion from yourself, and read it quite quickly once I'd repaired it with a lot of sellotape. It now sits in my vast book collection.🤓
Hal have you seen the video of the guy washing his hands off the boat and that huge bull grabs his hand and pulls him in? Your a fisherman and grew up fishing in florida. I dont know about you but ive dipped my hands to clean them hundereds of times. No more! That shark was big. He got very lucky
Official max size of Bronzies are around 10ft. However your talking to someone who ran across either a unknown species of snapping turtle or a Albino Hybrid between a Softshell and Alligator snapping turtle. So I believe you that it could have been 12 feet and it happened. There are things in the wild places of the world that man has never seen or never documented for sure.
@@wanderingspider8988 I just remember and OLD quote (The Baldwin Book? Yo Hal I watched an episode about that guy who went to bath??? Well they found his lower half with the boots still on. Who baths in the ocean? With their boots on? Hal I think we're looking at a case of homicide.
I scuba dive a lot on the Cozumel reef in The Gulf of Mexico. The water is warm and almost bright as day even 100 ft down. I like this area because we rarely see sharks.
