Great video Ross. I am attempting to root a cutting and you have inspired me to take really special care of it. Sounds like a GREAT CdD to have. Thank you.
You've convinced me. Now I am going to get this variety to plant. Will you sell cuttings of col de dam blanc and Smith to me if you would please? Thank you.
col de dama blanc #1. it is the only fig i tasted that the skin has a very intense sweetness. the pulp is the thickest and sweetest ive tasted. way better than black maidera or preto.
Bought a CddN this year from Bass. Given our frost free dates range from Mid-May to Mid-October, we have around 21 weeks to work with, I'm not sure I'll have much luck fruiting this variety, but we'll see. I probably will stick to early varieties.
Great vid on the Blanc! Thank you. Do you think it would be decent as a late-season fig for in ground on Coastal NC? I want to possibly incorporate it into a you-pick operation at some point. Hearing that it can be picked early and still be good sounds great for that (inexperienced pickers). I am in 8A and have a 220 or so growing season. I hear they will make good figs still as the weather cools.
Ross, do you know if Corky's honey delight normally ripens the bra crop but drops the main crop. Seems like I remember you stating that some figs never ripen the main crop.
Do you know where i can get a cutting or a tree online? I dont want to buy from unknown sources because it usually ends up being something else. Thank you

Added this one to my list for cuttings this year. Hope I can find one or a few! Growing in Arizona.
How do you compare the flavor/texture of cdd blanc vs rimada?
Just ordered 2 of this figs
How do you water the trees that have a trash bag around the pot?
Is this Col de Dame Blanc the French fig or Coll de Dama Blanca the Spanish fig? And is there a difference?
Hello. Is there any diference in flavour comparing the french col de dame blanc vs noir???
Thanks
What are some good places to purchase cuttings for this variety?
Figbid.
Looks great Ross! Had never heard of it so thanks for the vid.
Is it true that CdD Rimada is just a striped CdD Blanc?
Do you have any olive trees? Can you do a segment on olive trees? How to care for them in zone 7?

Nei vivai l'unica cosa sicura sulla varietà è la foto.
Just received 4 cuttings from Albania !
Be careful if your in the United States, it's actually illegal to buy from overseas
Expect a letter from the USDA saying you need to surrender the plants. I’m speaking from experience.
I ordered an I-258 from Albania and it turned out not to be a true I-258 but a regular black fig. Stick to Figbid or a reliable domestic seller!
Ross, I forget... where are you located?
Do you also grow CdD Noire? How similar in taste?

Every December I sell cuttings on Figbid.com
Do you have Cdd blanc for sale?
Have you got some artifact on your camera lens, there is blurred spot in all your recent videos
It's actually been there for months. The lens got damaged.
it's need politisation ?
No, all the CdDs are common figs, meaning they do not require pollination.
They also stay out of politics! lol

It is interesting that col de dame series originally came from Spain but with French name 😅
This should be the same variety as Dottato / Kadota.
No it's not.

Love figs💖
Col de dame is French
I thought Smith was your tastiest.
No. Smith is a 4/5 in terms of flavor. It's my overall best fig. Considering ripening period, flavor and productivity.
