Can’t lie, unfortunately my UCAT went pretty bad😭 so I reevaluated my university choices and decided to take the BMAT as well in October to broaden my chances of admission
@@chika.e mine wasn’t great either, dw we’ll get through it together 😭
I struggle with the timing, but I feel this is mostly cuz of Medify offering so many larger passages based Qs
I am having the same issue
@@mariamtraore7203 dw just keep doing lots of timed qs and practice
Medify is difficult but longer passages is going to prepare u
love your tips, P.S you are super pretty 😻
Thank you so much!! Glad you found the video helpful 💕

23. White shape has 3/5 more sides than the black shape
24. Total number of enclosed regions is three/2 (sticks)
25. Two curved shapes = triangle present (one overlap = black triangle, 2 = striped triangle 3= white triangle)
26. Two straight shapes and triangle present
27. Dashed circles in corners (big shapes sides is 4+number of circles)
28. Dashed circles on sides (big shapes sides is 2+ number of circles)
29. 8 sides but count number of sides on black as double and biggest shape is in lowest position
30. Hand points to odd number, minutes points to even number

Thank you! What did you get for your ucat?
Can you give the link for the AR list please?
Where is the list for the AR patterns?
Thank you for this 🙏🏾 if I understand you correctly if I skip a question I can still go back, right?
Yes you can! Just flag it to make sure you don’t forget
Do you still have those AR tips?
How many full Medify mocks did you complete and how far into your revision did you use timed practise for each question?
How does changing your guess number decrease your chances???
If you are practising using a laptop, would you recommend investing in a bluetooth keyboard?
I have to disagree with your point about the UCAT being a test that you can’t revise in depth or at length for. Each of the sections test skills which are learned, not innate. Personally, I really suck at both maths and reading so I really need to work on those skills if I want to do well in VR & QR because as with any skill, the more I practice, the more adept I will become. The UCAT is also an extremely time pressured exam which means that you have to be very proficient at the skills to be able to use them at speed. In short, any skill that you desire needs to be practiced and that practice will bring the required speed. It may be the case for those that are already adept at the required skills to only need a short period of practice simply to get used to the format of the test and need very little in the way of skill building, but for me and many others, we need to work hard to to gain the skills and speed needed to do well on the test.
I keep doing QR and I’m failing with it. The timing and even the questions, I just find it so hard
I think you should make sure that you are understanding the questions first before doing timing. First, do as many questions untimed as you can until you start to pick up on the patterns. Once you're more comfortable, go back to timing. You won't always get every question right but you are more likely to with more untimed practice.
Where are the common rules mentioned in the video listed?
Does NUM Loc work on a laptop when practising?
i don't understand how to do the VR, ive tried scanning for keywords but i always waste time scanning and never really understand whats going on and get the questions wrong cuz i end up guessing. on the other hand if i read the whole passage i either take too long to understand or i skim too fast that nothing really gets in my head. its just so hard to read fast and retain the info whilst also trying to dodge the tricks like the question asking whats NOT true and this is really fustrating me idk wht to do :/
At the end of the day, don't beat yourself up. Verbal reasoning seems easy in theory but most people score the least on it. Try your best, do as much time practice as possible to get your score up. Focus on the other sections as well so that your average score is fine. Read the question BEFORE you read the extract and just before you're about to select your final answer. Don't scan if it doesn't work for you, it's a waste of time. Read the question, find the keyword, scan FOR the keyword and read around it. Best of luck, you've got this!
@@SmileWithSolaI’ve seen a lot of people say to read the extract first instead of the question. What are your thoughts on this ?
is the medic portal good?
omds do you think i will do well, i was revising for 8 weeks but i was doing very bad recently so i moved it to september so i have more time for intense revision and build up my skills from scratch. do you think i will do well? what will you advice me to do it the time given?
Honestly, I can't say anything for sure. But as I said in this video, practice is key. If you spend this last month exposing yourself to as many questions as possible, learning what you did wrong and then putting this into practice, you will improve. Best of luck!
How did you do?
the venn diagram calculations dont make sense to me - can u explain
Was the actual exam more similar to the medify mocks or the official ucat ? Especially for the layout of QR questions?
Official UCAT is the best replica
which site has answers for questions with timed conditions
Same for international students??
How did you scale your scores for each section? On Medify my scaled scores are lower for the same mark compared to the table used by other students on Medic Mind? Which one would you go off of, as I don't want to give myself false confidence/ or stress myself out unnecessarily?
Any tips on how to get through vr, im doing really well on the others but vr is bringing my average down
can u give link of list of AR section rules!
yesyes i need this too
wiiiiiiiiiiiiish me luck pleaseeeeee tomorrow is my test
how did u dooo?!
HOW DID YOU DO?
Mine is on September 1st and I feel so unprepared
@@Akira12364 stopp mines a day b4 urs and im so scared
do you have any tips for timing in qr? i’ve been consistently getting 50% and i don’t know why 😭
Learn how to use the memory function + short cuts, it really helps. Also, for basic fractions / percentages, know the conversions off by heart. For typing in the calculator, use your number pad instead of actually clicking it (wastes time). Do as many practice questions as you can, it's boring I know, but unfortunately practice is the only way to improve your timing. Think about your future self when you do it! :-)
@@SmileWithSolathank you!
For 8 weeks of preparation, how much time would you be spending per day? Also, in the actual exam, will each section just end after the 21 minutes are up for example?
Also, is the 6-12 months recommended by Medify actually true, or is 4-8 weeks enough, as the UCAT website recommends 25 hours?
@@user-vq4qy2hq5i i would do probably 2hours a day for 8 weeks so you dont get burnt out. 4-8weeks is defo enough - id say any longer is actually worse as you burn out and get overwhelmed :))
I have mine tomorrow but didnt have enough time to revise, ik im gonna flop quantitative reasoning, im so bad at maths lmao
whatd you get?
Please tell us, how did it go ??
