Some patterns that helped me get 830 in AR
When you see Right angled Triangles and squares, think right angles
Circle is white = prime number of lines around it
Circle is black = square number of lines around it
    (CAREFUL OF PRIME NO. PATTERNS)
No arrows point left, no arrows go right
If shape is on the side of the cross it is white
If shape is in between hands of the cross, white
Atleast one square present, atleast one rectangle present
White shape has same number of sides as grey
    As many intersections as lines
    One more intersection as lines
One curl of tail for four sides or less, otherwise two. Curly tail on the right of arrow
Curly tail on left of arrow.
Faces with closed eyes, must have two colours used. Faces with open eyes must have one colour fill used. Faces with one eye open must have three different colours used
Straight arrows point from straight edged to curved. Curved arrows point from curved/straight edge to curved
Right facing arrows point from shapes with curved/straight to only curved. Left does opposite
All four dices = the numbers on the top and bottom multiplied
All four dices = the numbers on the sides multiplied together
Circle is fully shaded, the square is two positions from its right
Half shaded two from its right
When ring contains even number of intersections = black circle
When odd number of intersections = white circle

Hey Emil. How does medentry mark. You got 38/50 questions right (awesome score btw) which is 76%. 300 points is 0% while 900 is 100%. That means that you should have gotten 756 points rather than 870 like medentry shows. Do they mark differently to the ucat?

    • @EmilEddy
      @EmilEddy  2 роки тому +5

the UCAT does not give scores based on percentage marks. It gives scores based on your percentile ranking within the cohort. 900 means you scored better than all the other participants. If you score 99th percentile, you're likely to get a score of 870-900

    • @EmilEddy

That means the mock you did on medify is easier. If 38/50 was 90th percentile out of the people who sat that medify test, then it would be 750. Since 38/50 was 99th percentile on the mock I did, the score is 870. Raw scores do not convert to anything in the UCAT!
