    Omg, bro, you are a legend! This is my very very first time looking at how to prepare for the AR section in my life. You make me feel less pressure, and I pause the video, tried by myself first, and our thoughts become similar and similar along the way, which meant I really got the ideas on how you thought the patterns. Btw, I just saw the video you posted on Jun 2021, and your face looks thinner, this revealed how you tried hard to the bone during 4 years of Med journey. All the best with your future, brother!

Got a 660 in AR it was harder than medifiy for me but this video was still an immense help without it I wouldve definitely gotten a score in the 500s and that would've fucked my average completely

    19:50 for this question, you only need to know that white circles become black circles to crack the pattern. Also the very first shape is a white circle, which becomes a black circle. When you see even one pattern, you can eliminate most if not all of the answers and narrow the range considerably, and if necessary when you have to look for another rule you can compare the differences in the two remaining answers to get an idea of where you should be looking. In this case, A and D both have 3 circle near the bottom but in different locations, comparing them to the question, you can see that the circles are in a matching position in A.
    I realised this, because I wasted loads of time looking at the arrows on the previous question, and you cracked it much faster by finding one rule and running with it.

    • @mertinclubpenguin
      @mertinclubpenguin 4 роки тому

      I found out it the same way and it was much faster.

  • @Ab-kx4xv
    @Ab-kx4xv 6 років тому +2

    The last one is probably the easiest because they give you a MAJOR clue. The first line of patterns in the first square and the second square are the same. This means the first line of your answer will look exactly like the line above it. The only option that fits this pattern is A, and so it is your answer. This could probably be solved within ten seconds if someone paid attention to that minor detail. Annnywayss... Great Video! XD

    The big fat arrows at 18:10 move positions clockwise (So the very first fat arrow has moved to position left of it. The arrow that was there has moved downwards. That arrow has moved down to the left. That arrow has moved upwards. The arrow that was there has moved to the original arrows position.) Does that make sense?

    5:50 the weight x2 for colored is good. But you might also find
    "black shape square vs ovals" that works too.
    Unfortunately no candidate square was given Set a, set b or none.
    6:00 completely blanked out on this one. Thanks.
    8:24 also failed to see pattern. Okay 1 more of shape /\ than [=] but set b right top right bottom also follow that pattern.
    10:00 Zero is not odd. And what WAS the pattern ?
    14:41 yes exactly my thoughts, but this one is classic. Fastest approach in case you don't see it - is there is 2 maybe-correct answers that slightly are different. Eliminate the rest, and figure out which one it is. Here the doubt is between A and C, eliminates B and D. The difference is the circle thing.
    19:56 I was counting and stuff. Not intended, they are per-object transformations.

    For the last one I personally did something a little faster that may only apply in a few rare situations but if you look at the top lines of both squares they are the same... so the pattern on the right will be the same for the top line on both and then I deduced that it would be A as it's the only one with the same pattern. I hope that makes sense.

      Kharma Medic Thank you for your support but unfortunately, what I meant by “it’s the 28th” is that I’ve missed the registration deadline which was 18th Sept. meaning that I can’t really apply to any med school now. But honestly, I’ve tried everything to get to med, changing A levels and qualifications, staying an extra year in college and even trying to move to a college that was an hour and a half train ride. Nothing I do for med seemed to go to plan and I’m already mentally, physically and emotionally drained chasing that dream. I think it’s best to just stop and move on now cause we can’t all be doctors and get what we want. But I appreciate your reply. Good luck with the rest of your med journey and enjoy the rewarding outcome haha ✌🏽🙌🏼

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  6 років тому +2

      Hey Ed! You can still enroll for the BMAT (deadline Oct 15th) and apply to schools which accept the BMAT Exam. There are also schools that accept the GAMSAT. You can also look into studying medicine in another country if that is an option for you. Whatever you decide, best of luck :)
