I own a 2018 z06 3lz with carbon ceramic rotors, I just hit 7000 miles , best sports car I’ve ever owned, it’s awesome, cc long tube headers, corsa x-pipe ,magma flow npp cat back , Kong xport supercharger, 18 degree lower balancer, katech 103mm throttle body, big gulp CAI, and I have it tuned for 100 octane sunoco 🤣 it makes 750 wheel, have Toyo 888rs on the back, this car is a MONSTER, if you can afford it ,you won’t be sorry 👍🏼🙏🇺🇸
I love your excitement! I have a 2019 Admiral blue Z06 with the Z07 package I didn’t realize the carbon rotors don’t break well right after a car wash. Like ice hahaha but I love the car and drive it every chance I get. Thank you for the review!
May 2023 I bought a 2016 Z06, A8, convertible, 3LZ, in daytona sunrise orange metallic. I like the soft top roof and the trunk deck better than the coupe. My previous cars were a 1988 Ford Mustang GT, a 1988 Corvette Z51, a 1991 Corvette ZR-1, and a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. I've had other cars but they aren't really worth mentioning in this category. The Z06 beats them all and is phenomenal. Thanks for the video!
Its the only car in this category I mean there is no other car that has the same price range and the same power. It is a great car and I wish you the best
I have a manual C7 Z06 3LZ and absolutely love it . I fully PPF the entire car with x pipe and ported throttle body. It's my dream car. No one needs more than this car . It's truly too much for public roads. C7 manual Z06 should appericate in value in good condition. Total win .
@johnwood5674 instant response , alot smoother and with pipe air intake and ported throttle body it also increases 50 crank hp or about 32 to 36 wheel hp
nice coverage,,I've had my 19 Z06 now goen on..2years..love it!!!only mine is a Manuel.......lots more fun than my 18 grand sport with the automatic....I've never had any issues with the wheels..same on my 16 gt-350..that I used 2have...no reliability problems...don't want 2knok on...wood...
I just picked up'15 Z06 with 12k miles yesterday for $65k. It's like a new car, inside. It's my second, in Velocity Yellow, like the one here. Where else will you find 650 HP a 7-speed manual, and 0-60 in 3.2 seconds for that price? It is simply the best manual transmission car America has ever made
Nice review. I have a 19 Z06 2LZ manual and have ordered a C8 Z06. I am not sure if I can reasonably keep both, and having not driven the C8 I am not sure which I will choose. They are such different cars and would like to keep both, but not sure how feasible that is.
Great review great car been looking for mine.. keep going back and forth on grand sport or z06 since can't find a good one in my price range... power on .... right foot dwn
last month I picked up my first vette. was from Carmax. Paid 68k. 17' Red Z06 w/ only 6100 miles. Carmax extended warranty was 2x cheaper than anywhere else so I got that as well, cost was $2200. 75k mile bumper to bumper/5 year. super stoked!
You’ll see a torch red Z06 on my cover photo. I drive it daily and it’s fantastic ! Mine is a manual shift , I can’t own an auto in such a car. It ruins the experience for me. The C7 Z06 will be a respected and loved car a decade from now. It’s that good.
Actually the c7 z06, grand sport, and zr1 comes factory with 335 section width tires not 315. And the stingray is 285. And the carbon fiber on the dash in the car you are driving is a factory option. Not sure if its real or fake tho
Just got a 2015 for $64k fully loaded 3LZ Z07 with 18" gloss black Forgestar D5's all around and 345's in the rear and a ZR1 conversion kit and bolt ons with E50 tune making 700whp. Only 38k miles on it and I LOVE THIS GODDAMN CAR 😅 it so fun to drive even when I'm just cruising and nkt stepping on it and it breaks necks left and right. Had about 3 random chicks just last night who wanted to go home with me when i was cruising downtown 😂
lmao man i was just going on a cruise on a Saturday night with my yellow 16 z06 and had 2 girls in the back seat say wassup to me on the stop light and as soon as we drove off they flashed me. yes they def had some drinks in their system but your story reminded me of that 1 night lmfao
My homie has a cousin selling a salvage zo6 like this one with 11k miles and LT4, it had door/fender, and axel damage but it’s fixed now, 40k tho, should I buy it?
Loaded '16, 52K miles. Can't see trading for a C8. I see the thermometer reading 50F. Summer tires will give you much better handling when it is warmer.
Drive a 13/14 gt500 …. Way more violent ….. before you throw stones also have a c7z06 and i absolutely love it … I didn’t buy a corvette to go in circles it’s got 750 wheel and I’m going 1100 soon
Dunno what kool-aid this guy is drinking. All those cars on the list are well over 100,000 most are close to 200,000. Even the z06 last time i checked it was in the 6 figure territory. 70000 is R/T price range these days!

Can't have that in Cali., and don't want to ruin my warranty on a 2019--- 😢
@@billdesmet3929 yeah the weather there is awesome but the police are like the Gustapo when it comes to doing any mods to your car 🤦♂️
7 thousand miles in 6 years is GREAT preservation!!
why..u ruined it?????
@@fallback8314 you mean he did a great job letting the car sit in his garage?
first time seeing this guy. he's humble, upbeat, animated and funny. i could see why he has upwards of a million followers. and he deserves them.
335/25/20 rear tire is OE.

Considering where the C7 Z06 sits time-wise on Nürburgring, it deserves a higher rating for cornering. An "A," for sure.
i have the z07 package top notch cornering
it will corner as much balls i put to it!!

Have the same color and the color alone makes a great value and even greater value as you never see them
you bought a ragtop performance car? are you mental
Its the only car in this category I mean there is no other car that has the same price range and the same power. It is a great car and I wish you the best
ZL1 is cheaper. Not a Camaro fan just saying. I’d much rather have a Z06 and hopefully that will happen in a couple of days

1:33 the tires width is not 315. It's 335 mm wide.
The competition badge on the seats is only on the competition seats. Most of them don’t have that option.

If you want an appericating car the Z06 manual is the way to go . However the grand sport is all u need
Mine has that matte carbon dash. It is not fake
Ty for the clarification!

The carbon fiber on the dash is real.

Adding stage 3 aero to the front makes them look much more aggressive.

I wouldn't be surprised!

stage 2 aero PKG?
the z06 and grand sport are slighty wider than the stingray as well, you missed that point on exterior\
name 1 corvette that came from factory with 315 width tires
I’m getting a m5 comp for 70 nothing is better then a m5
cant wait to hear when it breaks in a few days
If that’s your dream car, more power to you, but to say “ nothing” is better than an M5 is hilarious
haha
"there is no reported common issue" .lol..just disregard that class action lawsuit for overheating, or the special coverage on the fuel pumps.
Or the cracked rim class action lawsuit
Drove a manual c7 z06. Got back in my manual hellcat and the hellcat was still more fun 😢
268.00 oil change last year Mine is a 2019 z
Yup 10qts of Mobil 1
It can be done under $100 at home using Mobil 1 if you have race ramps or jack stands. $268 is criminal
Z06 has 335’s in the rear brother.
Yes thank you. This one had 315s.
