C6Z06 I got tired of driving mine the roads are rough and listening to every pebble lolll I could tell the difference when driving my wife’s 2018 accord the bumps I usually slow down on in my vette I fly over with hers cause you can’t feel them loll
I can drive my Vettes, 300 sunny days a year in Az...but the Moon has less Craters than the roads here. At night its way too late to dodge them. Yes they spend the money for road repair, just not on the roads...just saying. PLEASE PLEASE pass any and all Infra structure projects, for the next 20 yrs...because they are that far behind.
I wish I could. I’m in the trades and if you pull up to a job site in one of these, you’ll either get chewed out or it’ll be filthy with all your tools lol. Weekend warrior.
No problem with my cup holders. We use them all the time. Wife and I on road trip last week. Two Starbucks coffees....effortless. Pop cans, travel mugs...never had one move and inch.
Chuck, having the exact same car, i totally agree with your honest assessment. I think one of best mods I learned from you is catalytic heat shield. My oil runs at least 10 degrees cooler. You’re exactly right about the power.......it’s sick and it’s no joke! Enjoy the ZR1!
Ain’t that the truth my wife is the reason I sold my C6. Just when I was thinking of getting maybe a used 2019 our baby came a long and Her claim it’s not practical we have a baby, too expensive. Oh well
May 2023 I picked up a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, A8, Convertible in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. I came from a C4 ZR-1 and a 2011 CTS-V, so I know about performance, but God the Z06 is phenomenal. I can't wait to see your ZR1. I appreciate what GM has done with the C8 but I just love the looks of the C7 better. Thanks for the video!
This is a great video! Very nice job on describing the details of pros and cons. I love your honesty and the "real" talk. Great job! Have a blessed day.
Great video Chuck !! Only got 3300 hundred miles 3300 miles on my 2016 Z06. In NE Ohio we don't get to drive them in the winter months. My Vette has been in storage since November & I usually get it out the first week in may after the road crews have repaired all the pot holes & swept them with the street sweepers. Take care & looking forward to seeing the new Vettes in your family. My Z06 is the fifth Vette that I have owned.
Sometimes the elements just don't work in everyone's favor and I don't know how you do it but there are allot of people who only get a few months a year to enjoy these amazing corvettes.
Well Chuck it has been a good ride with the Black Mamba. The Black Mamba is great car the new owner will hv a car that is #1 in my book. So i guess in a couple of weeks we will gt a chance to see Fearlis grand appearance. Can't wait I know she will be just as exciting.
Hey Chuck, I know everyone is looking forward to seeing the ZR1, and I am to,but your wife's car is awesome as well. When GM released that car, man l came a hair from ordering one, but I'm very happy with my ZO6 Carbon, it's payed for! I saw the GS on Ricks vlog and it looks awesome! Lucky Girl! Have a blessed week my friend! 🇨🇦
Hey Mike, The GS is a beautiful specked out vette. It will definitely stand on its own as a great car to do videos with. She is super excited and it should be on its way via transport in a few days. 👍😎
Chuck, your content is truly great work! That video was very insightful, and helpful to myself and anyone looking to buy a C7 Z06! That ZR1 exhaust sounds absolutely phenomenal, and as you put it “wicked” too! I can’t wait for the new content with Ferlis, it’s going to be awesome!!! Keep that great content coming Chuck, and have a wonderful week!!!😊
Good Vlog Chuck. I agree with your comments. I hope to share in the enjoyment of your ZR1. I will never own a ZR1 but would love to ride in one. Lucky you are too far away or I would beg for a ride. I've been waiting of people to put Vogs on UA-cam for the ZR1, still too early.
That is on bad ass car beautiful nice wide aggressive look on the back the car is a mean machine it looks so tough the best looking corvette ever made words cant describe how nice this car is
I didn't see your car out at caffeine and gasolinethis past Saturday here in Tulsa. You should come out next time! Every 3rd Saturday! Excited to see the ZR1 content. 👍
Spot on about the cup holder . It sucks . Tires don't last ..other than that ...perfect . Love it man . I've been across country several times with it.
Real glad to hear that you bought your wife’s Grand Sport from Rick. I always watch his vlogs and enjoy them as well as yours. I am looking forward to seeing your new ZR1.
Chuck, Bonjour from Paris. Lazy rainy day here and thought I would re watch this video. Great advice on the wheel alignment information. Anxiously waiting for my new ride! Blue skies, Jg
Nice content again! Congratulations on the ZR1! Thanks for explaining the rationale on the ZR1 over the ZO6! Look forward to seeing the video on the new car! Can’t wait for the GS as well! Corvettes are the best! Been living the dream since 22 years old! I’m 38 now! Have had a Corvette in the family since 1982!
Another Great Vlog Chuck! Hey, you starting this channel has reached so many if Us across the board. This is my 4th Corvette, and you are so right, my previous 3 have been Show cars, and I've won a ton of trophies. But, we have never gotten the attention this CRBN 65 C7 brings. We've had folks get out if their cars at a stop light just to take pictures. Hey, I am so looking fwd to the new content from FEARLIS!! I know without a doubt the professionalism and great content will continue. Thanks for all you do, we totally appreciate you!! General Lee VP from Street Dreams Corvette Club out of Virginia Beach Out!!
Corvettes 918 Thanks Chuck, hopefully they'll comeback even stronger and ready to run the tables. Keep up the Great work. Just like the Warriors, the Corvette Family atmosphere is what I truly enjoy.
Chuck...$7500 for the Ceramic Brakes is a lot of $$$. When I ordered mine, I had them on, took them off, put them back on, took them off, then got caught with... it's too late. I'm sure it's going to bit me every time I drive it...but $7500 is a lot if rim washing : ) I just want the snow to go away so I can take mine out of the garage.. Great review.
I'm thinking the cheaping out is going to bit me. I guess we live and learn : ) Chuck, you probably should stick to Corvettes918, weather forecasting is not your forte... another 8-12 tomorrow. Doesn't feel like we'll ever see dry pavement!. Be well
Great content as always. One thing to add…you said people don’t notice other cars such as Chargers, etc. I know this video came out before the Widebody. My best friend has a Z06 and I have the Widebody Charger and when we go hang out more people are interested in the Charger. Although some will take pictures with the Z06 many more flock to the Widebody Charger. I think the Widebody really changed the game for the Chargers. Great content. I still have a young one at home. But, the next car will be a Corvette.
Great stuff chuck. The gas mileage was super surprising! Awesome bonus! I think all of us make that same scream when you feel the power. My wife screamed the first time I got on it a little bit. I knew she was hooked.
Nice presentation Chuck. Always get good honest, informative, information from you. Can’t wait until you get the ZR-1 and feature it on your vlog. Not to mention 17 collectors edition your wife bought.
Thanks Chuck, love the back road cruise. Ya, excited about the ZR1, and the Grand Sport too, very excited! Till next time!! Even with the cons, the z06 is my drug of choice. I know I have said that before but I am addicted!! LOL Have a great week!
Had to trade my 2016 Z06 for my Dodge Demon (Dealer insisted).... Good chance I will add a Vette again.... Keep up the great work Chuck, cant wait to see the ZR1!!
Hey hey. Z06 15 model here. Did get a engine light. (not flashing) same power. Its around zero degrees celsius here. And at the same time gurgling water sound in the dash. So i heard its usual
Thx Chuck, your comments and insights are very helpful. I have been a sports car owner for many years. Have owned three Porches (944, 944 T and 996 Turbo S) and currently, own SL 55 AMG. looking at buying a 2017 ZO6 ~ LT1 ~ C7 package Watkins Glen coup.
Love your video. I’m a C5 owner, love my C5!! But I’ll be looking to get into a C7 Gran Sport in a few years. They’re some bad ass looking cars!!! Man they look fast just sitting still!!
Soo jealous of your wife! That Special Edition GS is absolutely a one of a kind. Beautiful car! Looking forward to seeing your corvette fleet when they're delivered.
Chuck this video is very informational!!! I love the fact that you are very detailed when it comes to everything you do. The fact that you love Corvette and to be able to honestly critique the car Good and Bad is awesome!!! Also I have begun to speak to the Alamo Area Corvette Club locally in San Antonio and it is great!!! As always thanks again Chuck very informational!!! Can’t wait for 6/23
Looking forward to your ZR1. As far as the lag on the paddle shifting I read the ZR1 will not have this lag, I also read there will be an update tune for us current Z06 owners. The new Zl1 A10 shifts really fast with paddles. Hopefully it will be addressed.
Compliments on another excellent video. When the cupholders are about the most irritating thing you can complain about it has to be a pretty good car! There is another well-known vlog on UA-cam where the question was recently asked as to whether the Corvette is "a real supercar." Since nobody can really define a supercar anymore except that one seems to have not only high performance capabilities but an insanely astronomical price tag and tiny production numbers, lots of posters took pleasure in badmouthing the Corvette. Many said it was just "too common." Now, I know that 30,000 are built each year but, Chuck, one of your points in your video is that you have never owned a car stared at by people as much as your Z06, which is admittedly a very striking car. But Corvettes really look like nothing else on the road. I was amazed when I noticed people videoing our 2008 C6 on the highway. Of course, Corvettes are fairly rare here (in 2008, only 643 came to Canada, with only 212 of those being base Coupes like mine) but it is still surprising to me. In spite of our ridiculously short season, I still manage about 8,500 miles per 6-month year so I think if you are doing 13,500 with mainly local driving you are ahead of the game. Of course, the other positive thing that has come out of your Corvette ownership experience is this vlog and all your devoted followers! Looking forward to the arrival of ZR1 monster, which will probably be in your driveway before I can get my car off the battery charger and onto a snowless street (42 days to go!).
Awesome comment Leslie, I was reaching for things to find negative because I didn’t want to sound like a total homer. 😂😂. This is an amazing sports car and to me it’s a super car just not an exotic. Which to me is the difference.
The other difference is that nobody actually drives their Ferraris/Lamborghinis/McLarens. And I have yet to see a 2004-2006 Ford GT with more than 3,000 miles on it. And a C5 Corvette went to the museum in Bowling Green in November with 773,000 miles on it--still on the original engine! www.corvettemuseum.org/high-mileage-c5-corvette-donated/
Chuck, that was great send off. I appreciated the part where you talked about the Stingray, GS and the Z06.........here on Long Island, using the car as a touring car, my Z51 does indeed have more power/torque than I could ever need/use. It just seems like the perfect compromise between usable power and not having overkill. Looking forward to the next chapter brother! It’s been a great ride so far! Glenn
I've owned a 1988 Corvette Z51, a 1991 Corvette ZR-1 and currently own a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. I am looking to purchase a C7 Z06 0r a V3 Cadillac. One way or the other I want that LT4. Thanks for the video!
Another awesome video Chuck. Thanks for ALWAYS giving us the inside scoop on the Z06. Going to miss The Black Mamba but looking forward to Fearlis and my own Z06!!!
The problem with the shifting is realy easy to fix. Take alaptop connect it to your z06 and turn the reaktiontime down. (need a programm for it 5 min google search)
I agree and disagree, the c6 Z ls7 is about as efficient an engine can get, anything bigger you got the 8.4 liter viper which gets 10mpg lol, and even it doesn’t have performance numbers of lt4
There is 0 delay when you upshift when you're on the gas, the harder you're on the gas to quicker the shift. It is designed that way no sense in shifting fast if you're not on the gas
I LOVE this channel! I have a 2015 Chevy Malibu that I bought a few months ago that I love, but I swear you make me want a Vette! On a side note, I’ve watched some of your videos on car washing. Would you share the equipment that you use? I want to buy a foam cannon and power washer. Also, how do I send you a picture of my ride?
Thanks George for being apart of the community. Congratulations on the new Malibu great cars. If you will go down into the description of the newer car washing videos I have links to everything I have. 👍😎.
Hi Chuck, I have watched a ton of C7 You Tube clips including MANY of yours, Impressive and thank you for all the info. My concern or should say VERY concerned about this alignment issue eating up tires and I thought I would reach out to you to possibly give us a little insight on this. I know this is not what this particular clip is about but it is about getting a new Corvette as I am which is built and at the rail yards ready to be loaded to head to San Fran and then eventually put on a ship to be sent to me in Oahu. This clip below is the one that has me concerned and what actions I should take upon getting my new Grand Sport. I know it depends on the Owners driving intentions/habits so it would be great if you could possibly elaborate on what our caster and camber should ideally be like from a weekend track Racer to (Me) a “I will never see a track or any serious cornering” owners. We do not have a track in Hawaii and I do not intend to be ripping around corners…. I want my tires to last but still, want them to handle for me if I give it some good throttle in a corner once in a while. When it gets here, I want to know if I need to get it aligned right away to avoid chewing the $h1t outa the inside of my tires while just cruising. I am very mechanically inclined and also a previous C6 Owner for 2 years that was sold to get purchase this new Grand Sport. I understand the basics of a wheel alignment but am not an expert and do not want to end up like this poor guy with bald inside tires leading to a flat!… this just seems like an obvious problem that has not been addressed very good for new Corvette owners…or maybe it has and I cant find the specific info on it pertaining to C7 Corvettes. Please understand I absolutely am not trying to put anyone on the spot, I am a very mellow Retired Navy Vet (57) and now a top pro-detailer living the “good life in paradise” and want what’s best for my new Grand Sport. Thanks in advance for any help. Dave Knox, Oahu Hawaii. My questions: *can you provide any personal experience you have seen with your tires and what Alignment marks you have got your Z06 set to. *Do experienced Corvette salesman no how to address this alignment subject to new C7 owners? * Will going to this very mellow close to zero camber have any warranty issues? * Will the dealership check my Grand Sports Alignment on my PDI? Clip as follows Don't Buy a C7 Z06 Or Grand Sport without watching this! ua-cam.com/video/abkhpubv7ro/v-deo.html A very good post in “comments” on this clip. Unfortunately, Chevy never mentions the aggressive camber settings from the factory when they hand these cars off to new owners. Even c6 Grand Sport/Z06/ZR1 had camber in -1 to -2 degree range which is great for cornering but eats that inside edge (also aggressive toe settings will do the same but at a faster rate). Unless carving canyon roads, it's much better to run camber close to 0 deg on the street if it's mainly highway driving. Just be careful at 0 deg on the fronts if you do a lot of twisty roads... the car under load will go into positive camber, which is also not good. Normal highway and daily driving should be fine and get the best wear on the street. Also, on the street you can get away with something like -0.5 and still get good tread life while giving better handling characteristics (but make sure they keep the toe set close to 0). It's unfortunate that dealers act like everyone should know these cars have super aggressive camber from the factory. It was good of you to share this info with prospective buyers... first thing that should be done with these cars is get an alignment to suit the owner's driving habits to extend tire life.
The alignment specs you will need are in the description of the video. These cars come out of the factory ready to go straight to the track and are set up for performance. If it is going to be driving on city streets most of the time it needs an alignment after the 500 mile break in.
@@Corvettes918 Big fan. Your doing a great job. I have a question about the alignment as well. In the video @5:57, the description you have on the screen for the alignment reads "Front Right Camber -1.0, Caster 7.6, Toe 0.10". Is that the factory setting that cause your inside tire to get chewy up? or is that the correct setting for daily driving for the tires which will make them last longer? Another thing, you mentioned you would leave a link down below with recommendation for the alignment numbers. That link isn't working. What are those daily driving with no track visit alignment numbers?
Hey Chuck...what happened to you telling us about the magnetic ride upgrade...did I miss that vid? Has anyone put numbers to the upgrade to see if it's worth it? Did it affect the qrt mile times? I would appreciate your feedback!
I didn't do the upgrade because I was selling the Z. The upgrade was one of the Z06 that beat the Viper on VIR a few months back. It definitely gives the vette better handling in the suspension and increases the performance.
"Ford GTs are all over the place". LOL You know you have a Chevy fanboy when they say something ridiculous like that. Otherwise, decent and accurate review of the Vette. There are a few other complaints that I would have added, like the cheap paint job that some Vette owners notice, or the cheap interior, some of which is just borrowed from other Chevys.
Chuck, I just purchased the almost the exact same ZO6 you have from the Chevy Dude in Louisville. All black in & out with 3LZ, ZO7 & stage 3 aero. It is 2 years old, but only hade 670 miles on it when delivered to Newark, DE March 9th. The original owner put new Sport cups on and had it coated with CeramicPro 9H. I just put an MGW short throw in it. I have ordered the Corvette Mods catalytic converter heat shield and oil line shield after seeing your video of the Corvette club tech day. The videos are great.
Hi Chuck, thanks much for sharing thoughts on Z06--haven't had the pleasure yet, but hope to drive one someday. As for stares--some, but probably get an equal number of sneers--such is life in LA LA Land. With a new ZR1 possibly only days away, are you able to sleep at night?
The reason I passed on this car is because of the SLOW gear shifts.. I'm used to driving the 911 with the sharp PDK transmission, so this is a no go! Can't believe Chevy missed such a crucial aspect.
Chuck - shift delay is there if you are not in Performance shift mode. The car automatically goes into that mode when you are driving aggressively. Can you be sure to address this? Z06 reviews always overlook this.
To me none of the other supercars play that game of needing to be in certain modes in order for the paddle shifters to be more responsive. I think even if it does gain better response by being in the performance shift mode GM needs to work on the response time in just normal driving mode.
Chuck great video as always. Two new vets in one month, not many can came that! Do you know people who have had the magnetic ride calibration done? Do you still recommend it?
Thanks Craig. The Z06 that beat the Dodge Vipers time at VIR in January had the new calibration. It is definitely worth the $350 bucks even though it should be free with a flag hours worth of labor from the dealers. If I was keeping the Z I would have done the upgrade for sure.
I would have to guess the reason for the delay on paddle shifting a low speed and not being aggressive on the throttle is why the drag when shifting. I would have to ask if it does the same thing when stopping on it and paddle shifting? I been helping a widow sell a C5 and she asked me to put some good miles on it to be sure all is well before I sell it and I have noticed it shifts different very different at low throttle then it does over half throttle. Good video i liked it and even though I don't own a vette i am gonna subscribe. I like the C5 that she wants to sell but hate the Targa top. So I am gonna be looking around for hard top for my mid life car. LOL.
How much and how many miles if you dont mind me asking sir cuz i bought a 2019 z06 i wanna compare prices hey and its my first gm car lol i got a supersnake and a hellcat too
This comment applies to everyone but Chuck. If you have not Subscribed to this channel yet i recommend that you do so right now. You won't be disappointed that you did.
Thank you sir 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎
Can’t stress this comment enough! Idk why chuck doesn’t have 100k+ subs, my favorite corvette channel
Oh trust me, as soon as that ZR1 arrives to his house and he uploads his first video with it, they'll come flowing through like a raging stream.
I hope he gets a million subs so he can quit his day job and make daily vlogs
Damn a average corvette owner usually put 3k miles.
If I have one I’ll daily drive it.
Unfortunately most are not DD
I daily drive my C6 Z06 to work about ten months of the year and still can only put about 4K miles per year.
C6Z06 I got tired of driving mine the roads are rough and listening to every pebble lolll I could tell the difference when driving my wife’s 2018 accord the bumps I usually slow down on in my vette I fly over with hers cause you can’t feel them loll

This is my 2nd C6 GS, vettes are loved by people for sure. Over porches, stangs, etc...they are just such gorgeous cars, esp. C6 and C7s.
👍😎
Chuck, you're a lucky guy. If I had a wife who loved corvettes I would be in heaven. Great video.
I have blessed with an amazing woman for sure. 👍🏻😎

I'm still rocking my '17 Watkins Glenn Zo6 M7 and drive it 5 days a week... glad you're back my friend!😎👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Only one word comes to mind when describing a z06. “SEXY”
Agreed 👍🏻😎
This is a great video! Very nice job on describing the details of pros and cons. I love your honesty and the "real" talk. Great job! Have a blessed day.

Thanks Kelly have an amazing time. I will be there in the fall. 👍🏻😎
A Ford GT is everywhere? How do you confuse a Mustang GT with a Ford GT?
Great video. You're wife's vette looks dandy! Can't wait to see more of it.
We are going to be making lots of videos 😎👍🏻

ANOTHER GREAT INFORMATIONAL VIDEO CHUCK , THANKS AND HAVE A BLESSED DAY
Thanks Tom for the support my friend 👍🏻😎
Chuck...$7500 for the Ceramic Brakes is a lot of $$$. When I ordered mine, I had them on, took them off, put them back on, took them off, then got caught with... it's too late. I'm sure it's going to bit me every time I drive it...but $7500 is a lot if rim washing : ) I just want the snow to go away so I can take mine out of the garage.. Great review.
$7995 I would pay double that for ceramic brakes. 😂😂. You guys have been beaten down this winter. It’s about over.
Ordered my GS with carbon ceramic not only for minimal brake dust but no corrosion and they just look bad a$$.
I'm thinking the cheaping out is going to bit me. I guess we live and learn : ) Chuck, you probably should stick to Corvettes918, weather forecasting is not your forte... another 8-12 tomorrow. Doesn't feel like we'll ever see dry pavement!. Be well
Well worth it
Awesome video. I'm eyeing a couple right now. 2019's. Want to enjoy for 2-3 years and get rid of it. Just need the experience. Love the black color.
Great bit about the camber settings that could've been inserted into the order options via check box select. That just makes sense!
Good stuff 👍 I hate to see the Z06 go but I can't wait to see all the new content with the GS and ZR1!
Another Chapter. Should be a good one. 👍😎
i see the description with Metallic in it . Awesome choice Chuck.
Thanks Jim as Always I appreciate your support. It seems likes been a year I have been waiting now we are down to weeks. It’s getting close.
Thanks Chuck, love the back road cruise. Ya, excited about the ZR1, and the Grand Sport too, very excited! Till next time!! Even with the cons, the z06 is my drug of choice. I know I have said that before but I am addicted!! LOL Have a great week!
Thanks for the support. The Z06 is an assassin no doubt about it. Was glad I had the opportunity to have own one. 👍🏻😎
Another great video! Thanks for adding my superbee in the vid. ✊
The Z06 is the best performance sports car for the money. You will greatly enjoy it.
Looking forward to seeing your corvette fleet when they're delivered.
great vid Chuck, looking forward to see the new zr1
thumbs up for the 3rd gen f-body in viewer rides
We love all cars in this community except for Prius. 😂😂👍🏻😎
Can’t wait to check it out. I did have someone notify me that GM has released a transmission time that address this on Z06. 👍🏻😎
Glenn
Always thumbs up!!! 😎😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you Brad you are the President if the 918 Nation. 😎😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Corvettes 918 😎😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I've owned a 1988 Corvette Z51, a 1991 Corvette ZR-1 and currently own a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. I am looking to purchase a C7 Z06 0r a V3 Cadillac. One way or the other I want that LT4. Thanks for the video!
great video chuck!
Thank you 👍🏻😎
Another awesome video Chuck. Thanks for ALWAYS giving us the inside scoop on the Z06. Going to miss The Black Mamba but looking forward to Fearlis and my own Z06!!!
Congrats on 16k family members!!
Thank you sir and I greatly appreciate the support 👍🏻😎
Thanks for awesome video. I am heavily considering a Z06.
Just got me one Chuck! Thanks for the info brother!
Got ceramics on my Z07....love them.
Great vlog Chuck. Enjoying it!! Greyhound Rich
Thanks Big Prez I appreciate the support as always 👍🏻😎
Thanks Chuck. Thumbs up.
Thank you Ron 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎
good points covered in this one Chuck!
Good to see you back! When do we get the video of your wifes GS??
As soon as it gets here. Hopefully next week. 👍🏻😎
😎🇺🇸 Hey Buddy 👍 Good Stuff Chuck as always ✌🏻
Thanks Rick for all the support my friend 👍🏻😎
Awesome as usual !!!!!!!
Thank you for stopping by the channel. I appreciate the comment. Have a blessed week!! 👍🏻😎
The problem with the shifting is realy easy to fix. Take alaptop connect it to your z06 and turn the reaktiontime down. (need a programm for it 5 min google search)
The storage space in the Vette for a 650hp/tq car is unprecedented...
this video helped me out. thanks ima need to get that alignment checked
Love the video
Thanks Bryan I appreciate the support brother 👍🏻😎
OMG people look hard wasnt ready for that but it does feel good.
I cant wait to get my c7 zo6 would go perfect in my drive way with my c6z
Hey bro that extra GO is a super charger! 🤣🤣🤣
Great video!!!
Thanks Serjey for the support 👍😎
Thanks Chuck!
I appreciate the support 👍🏻😎
The only thing I didn't like about the C7 zo6 is GM should have kept it natural aspirated.
😎👍🏻
I had an 08 Z51 and it would get squirrelly. Can't imagine another 200+ hp
There is allot of power you never use in the Z06 and ZR1
I know it depends on the Owners driving intentions/habits so it would be great if you could possibly elaborate
on what our caster and camber should ideally be like from a weekend track Racer to (Me) a “I will never see a track or any serious cornering” owners.
My questions:
*can you provide any personal experience you have seen with your tires and what Alignment marks you have got your Z06 set to.
*Do experienced Corvette salesman no how to address this alignment subject to new C7 owners?
* Will going to this very mellow close to zero camber have any warranty issues?
* Will the dealership check my Grand Sports Alignment on my PDI?
Clip as follows
Don't Buy a C7 Z06 Or Grand Sport without watching this!

A very good post in “comments” on this clip.
Congrats on the ZR1 build man! I'm looking to grab one as soon as our facility is built!
I agree, mustangs, challengers, camaros, nothing has the presence of a Vette, let alone a Z06/ZR1
Im sure the microphone cant do it justice. But damn still sounds great
Hey Chuck...what happened to you telling us about the magnetic ride upgrade...did I miss that vid? Has anyone put numbers to the upgrade to see if it's worth it? Did it affect the qrt mile times? I would appreciate your feedback!
I didn't do the upgrade because I was selling the Z. The upgrade was one of the Z06 that beat the Viper on VIR a few months back. It definitely gives the vette better handling in the suspension and increases the performance.
Corvettes 918 ..thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing your new ZR1!
Sleeping like a baby knowing it’s almost time. 😂😎👍🏻😎
I will look into this during my event this weekend with the vette club.
To me none of the other supercars play that game of needing to be in certain modes in order for the paddle shifters to be more responsive. I think even if it does gain better response by being in the performance shift mode GM needs to work on the response time in just normal driving mode.
Thing is there is still a delay with paddles, even in performance shift mode. There is nothing wrong with shifts.
LOL.
Thank you for that review. I’m between the zl1 10 speed or the zo6🤩
I can’t wait for the ZR1! Are you selling your z06 to a dealership like Carmax or are you listing it?
I have sold it to someone who watches the channel 😎👍🏻
How much and how many miles if you dont mind me asking sir cuz i bought a 2019 z06 i wanna compare prices hey and its my first gm car lol i got a supersnake and a hellcat too
Sounds like a lion roaring but we all know that it's all those bald eagles
🦁
Lol ya no chit!! I get looks everywhere i go. If iam in my c3 everyone wants to know what year and if iam in my zo6 they want to know how fast. Lok
Excellent Video!!
