Should have did the MrBallen version of this

  • @OrbiTiZZeD

I used to be an EMT.. it's no coincidence this kid was taken from his house to an interrogation room. Police in the US are about as medically knowledgeable as a toddler.

  • @DeadJustBack4TheDay

This case infuriates me. Any man would be suspect number 1 in a case like this, but the guy needed obvious medical attention ASAP. That should take immediate precedence over making him wait for several hours and interrogating him for one.

  • @Nani-0613

When I first heard of this case, I immediately said so nobody noticed how dark his face was

  • @joyhudspeth9547

I suggest watching the Mr. Ballen version. You'll get a much clearer picture of what took place.

  • @bboyenzoIL

that detective couldn't solve a murder if the killer confessed

  • @kinjiru731

MrBallen's video on this one was better IMO but yeah, wild story.

  • @controlZchannel

This video does a poor job at explaining the situation. He was in the home for days with his headshot injuries not understanding what had happened. He doesn't understand that his girlfriend was dead, he thought she was a random girl sleeping on the sofa.

  • @Kymani_the_legend

MrBallen version is better. Narrator on this is twisting the story.

  • @gdhaney136

He handcuffed himself to the desk. This story is not accurate. His behavior was so off that any normal human would have sent him to the hospital. He sat in the cop car for two hours before being driven to the station. The cops in this case were so negligent that they should never deal with people again.

  • @JessBecause77

It wasn't hours later. It was days. One of the parents called for a wellness check because they hadn't heard from either and they had missed a get together they were having for Christmas. The guy walked around inside the apartment, going in and out of consciousness for 2 days. It's truly a miracle he survived. He sat out front of the house in the back of a cop car for hours before he was even brought to the station for questioning.

  • @strider9184

Not only did he survive the 6-7 hours between the cops putting him in the car and finally getting help, I believe he was in the house for a day (or a few days or something) going to sleep & waking up over and over while his girlfriend laid dead. That’s what he was trying to communicate when he said he wanted to let her sleep…she was dead but in his traumatised state he thought she was just sleeping 😢

  • @jdbroders64

I hope the kid's father sued the crap out of that Police Department and that Detective personally. This is unbelievable.

  • @johnkacin1500

Him saying over and over " I just want to go sleep" should have been a red flag. I suffered a severe blunt force trauma to my eye as a kid.. And I kept saying the same thing to my mom and dad and later the paramedics and doctors. Now granted this detective probably has minimal first aid training but if someone has a visible injury you just can't deny them medical care while carrying out your investigation.

  • @FaceYourInnerFear

The excellence of the Phoenix PD on display again.

  • @Erin49694

i’ve watched enough medical shows and true crime to know that people who’ve been shot in the head don’t always die. i can’t believe what this guy went through. how heartbreaking

  • @susanatinsley7136

Then the police investigated themselves and found themselves completely innocent, life as per usual in law enforcement.

  • @garygramling5618

I remembered seeing a longer version of this too. I forgot that he was wondering around the house for 2 days, dazed, after the shooting while his girlfriend laid their dead on the couch. They also mentioned that what the cop saw were holes through his nose (I think) that were entrance wounds of bone fragments from his skull. That last part is fuzzy in my mind but I remember the cop's "closer inspection" of the kid made him immediately halt the interrogation and call the paramedics and it had to do with holes in his nose. Horrible and gut-wrenching story.

  • @abducteeofearth1703

The Mr Ballen breakdown gives much more detail.

  • @purplecatangel1379

I heard of this case from a couple videos. It really hurts inside that this poor guy is sitting in an interrogation room in pain with bullet holes in his face and he’s accused of killing his girlfriend from the detective that’s interrogating him😤😩My he rest in peace😔
