@@cianwhite467 The interrogation could only be done in 48 hours if you have no warrant. Let's take this case for example. A judge is not giving a warrant based on the camera footage and there's no other evidence of a crime being committed, therefore once they arrest him they can only have him in custody for 48 hours. Last time I got in trouble and had to go to court, I actually thought I was in the wrong part for a moment when waiting in a certain area. I was the only person presentable. This is fantastic I never saw interigations where the person being questioned is on top. All the interigations I've seen it's the person being questioned is guilty. This is what everyone has been asking for, well done mate.
Most people think that when they are being interrogated, that by NOT asking for a lawyer, it seems like they are more likely to be innocent with nothing to hide. That, and if they ask for a lawyer they will be put in jail while they wait. And that scares a lot of people.
Going to jail for a couple days isn't that bad. These days it's way too easy to get arrested for fucking bull shit reasons that if you get arrested you should just not even sweat it. Besides once you're in the interrogation room the only place you're going next is jail more than likely. The police depending on the state can arrest you at their discretion. So just ask for a lawyer and if they take you to jail just know that they'll take you to magistrate within 24 hours and you'll get your bond amount. Either call a friend, family or have your attorney post bond and you'll be out after dinner time.
I can think of two very high profile cases of suspects who got lawyers and the first, Casey Anthony, beat the charges and John& patsy Ramsay weren't even prosecuted. That happened in the '90s and everyone suspected them because they lawyered up.

When cops say that they have irrefutable evidence that someone is guilty, then why on earth would they spend so much time and effort trying to elicit information other than understanding the motive which underlies why someone killed someone or where the victim(s) is/are located.
You kind of answered your own question it’s to get to the point where they can find a motive and figure out why they did what they did. Even if they know they’re guilty having a motive can be the difference between 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree murder or even manslaughter.

I’ve always thought along the same lines.
They want you to admit guilt, which makes it hard to refute in court or plea insanity later. Also, some people admit to crimes they never even committed and get booked, believe it or not.
@@kentaro.h9839
It's more often because they don't actually have proof. When they have proof, they don't bother with interrogations. They just let you sit in a cell until your indictment comes in. Cops only grill you like this when they DON'T have the proof they claim to have.
They want you to admit to it, simple. It's easier for them in court.
Yeah, confessions make life easier for prosecutors. Same reason why cops can have probable cause to search and still ask for permission

crazy how rollercoasters can capture your face better than most bank cameras and other cameras outside
Yeah it's almost like people are paying out the nose for pics of them screaming on a rollercoaster, while the cameras meant to surveil the outside are an expense to each individual business. Nobody is paying top dollar to see their joyful face after cashing their check or whatever people do at banks in 2023.
I heard it's like that for privacy or it's cheaper to have those types of cameras or it doesn't have the components to have good quality since it's small or it's all of the things I listed.
😂 Good point.
@@user-cf6fo6bj1u It's because you pay $90 per person plus $50 in culinary expenses anytime you go to Six Flags, but it's free to park next to your local ATM, etc.

Where do they do that at? Innocent until proven guilty? Thats a new concept.

Its crazy how scary and weird the US police system is (they even allowed to lie to suspects during an interview, Here in Aus the cops/detectives are bound also by "swear to tell the whole truth" during a proper taped interview
Same thing in Canada. They can lie.
Well, if America was founded by criminals I'm sure we'd have laws that favor the criminals in interrogations, as well.
Not entirely correct. I worked undercover/homicide /detectives in NSW Police and what you think police are bound by is not correct. There is always an officer looking to get the next promotion and will work within the law just like the criminals being interrogated. We are not unlike the USA.
Actually it's scarier that trash like this guy are too savage and stupid to know how to properly act in a situation where he wasn't paid what he was promised. You go to court and get your money you have no right to attack the person and more than one attacker shows he's a coward as well.
of course they can lie, it makes snuffing out a criminal wildly faster???

Why is the commentator making it seem like he guilty af 😂😂
Whats crazy about all these interrogation videos on youtube they are tools to help criminals get away with murder or other things. Rule1. No matter how nice the interrogetor is he or she is not your friend . There job is to build a big case against you. Rule 2. Dont use hand gesters, keep calm. Rule 3. When the interrogator gets silent with you up close its a way to make you panick. Rule 4 KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT
Rule 5: don't give the cops the evidence. Let them do their jobs and find it, if there is any.
Do you realize how many people have gotten charges they didn't deserve because cops took advantage of their lack of civil rights , law and police knowledge?
Rule 4 is actually rule 2 and rule 1 is directly ask for a lawyer. That's it, that's all, and there are no others rules.
*Their job / *hand gestures; keep calm / *panic
1. Stay silent
2. Ask for a lawyer
3. You don't need to have any other rules for how to answer questions because you're not answering them
That's a master class in getting interrogated. He knew better that to answer the same question twice. He knew if they had enough evidence they would have already arrested him.
