Alan was best man at Jon’s wedding, but they didn’t even ask Jon to perform. What you see on stage representing Yes is sadly what you see all the time as our favorite bands from the 60s, 70s, and 80s die off, one member at a time. I’ve seen virtually every Yes lineup, and while I like JD, it’s just sad that neither Jon nor Steve were there.

This actually sounds much better than the recent posts of the "real" Yes in concert. Much more energy. I thought the Awaken Yes tribute band might be the best way to hear live Yes music at this time, but I'd go see a show by these folks. Sure it took 2 people to cover Steve Howe's parts, but it works! R.I.P. Alan White (and Chris Squire). A great tribute to a very loved and sorely missed legendary musician.
