But the daily wire and Fox News also profit off of racial division so how does that make sense?
It’s one thing to acknowledge the existence of racism, it’s another thing to try and fix that racism with hatred and more racism. Simple as that

It really goes beyond that. When you boil it down, racism is an opinion. People have opinions about all manner of different things, some are logically sound, some are based on bad information, some are based on pure emotion. Opinions aren't the problem. People can not like each other for whatever reason they want.
I tend to avoid people with facial piercings and colorful hair, that's a prejudice, I'm fine with it. If a person's opinions drives their actions and those actions break a law, the action is the problem. Actions are what need to be judged not opinions.
When it comes down to it, racism is a thought-crime. They are trying to punish people for what they think is going on in their head, not how they interact with the world.
@@malevolent7650 this. conservatives won't openly say this much because it's somehow "bad optics," and instead try to play the "we're the REAL non-racists!" angle. But in reality, thoughts cannot and should not be micromanaged or policed.

Great panel. Looking at this from outside the US my perception was that half the population are devoted to this DEI grooming. The release of this movie (and excellent conversations like this) have reassured me that all this trouble is really just a VERY vocal bitter minority who need some sort of mental help.

@@pistonburner6448 He’s not right, he’s just accustomed to old ways of thinking. That’s why the black panelists were having more fun with the topic than he was. Badger was right, Burnett’s take belongs in the classroom not pop culture. That’s what I meant. Try not to be so sensitive.
Edit: I would add that Burnett’s boomer mentality has him exhibiting some of the white savior behavior that the panel and the movie were decrying. Try pretending to be intelligent somewhere else. You’re not cool and you’re not above it all.
