@@abhilashyadav2274 Zorawar Singh was a general of Rajput ruler Gulab Singh who was ruler of Dogra Rajput Kingdom today if india has strong claim in whole ladakh, gilgit and J&k region is because those areas were ruled by Dogra Rajputs , due to foolishness of politicians in 1947 and 1962 we lost gilgit and areas of ladakh, that whole area was under Rajput control until they signed to give their territories to govt of india in 1947 .

It seems very vulnerable and old tank copy of BMP 2 on other hand Turkish Tulpar,Kaplan and Korean K21 are far more advance and superior and Turkish Kaplan tank also exported to Indonesia and will be assembled locally

Tanks were, are and will remain extremely important in warfare. Regardless of how advanced drones, ATGMs and loitering munitions get the need for infantry on the ground will never leave and without tanks any infantry will suffer great losses.

I have an idea. India should develop fast unmaned or maned craft fitted with otomelara gun or grad rocker or nag atgm or igla s sam. This craft will be launched LHPD for expedition mission.
The concept of light tanks in the Eastern Ladakh sector is terrain specific. Protection to crew will mostly be a thin balance between low silhouette, mobility & dot on target fire power from long distances. Unmanned turrets with crew sitting in the tank hull, ERA panels and both active and passive protection measures coupled with anti drone are the only way to give protection to the tank crew. Light tanks can quickly be inducted in the HAAs in C17 globe Masters aircraft, unlike MBTs.

It may not be the best light tank in the world. I have my own criticisms of it. But still I am saying mass produce it and induct it in the Army. Indigenous platforms may not be the best, but it will sure improve with time. India me to aisa hai ki har cheez best hi chahiye Army ko.

The special term called 'Bhadwa' is specially applicable to import lobby which survive on country's loss and dependibility
Engine, transmission, gun and turret are all imported.
Shell, tracks, electronics and atgms would be local.
What is there to complaint?
the single most issue with indigenous development is quality of workmanship, especially in case of first time indigenous builds . . . for e.g. our very first indigenous 44,063 ton STOBAR aircraft carrier INS Vikrant (R11) . . . indigenous Kaveri turbofan engine project that has turned out to be quite unsuccessful even after 34 years of development . . . the burden of creating something world class within the localized make in India mindset . . .

If DRDO had taken this approach in case of LCA then LCA could enter service by 2000. Rather than trying to achieve all goals at one shot it's should be achieved through phases. So at 1st phase develop a working product with available components irrespective of imported or indigenous . Then in next phases replace imported components with indigenous components and licence build indigenous components.
DRDO did take this approach in Tejas. They assembled imported components and presented it to the forces . They were so incapable that it took them more than 4 decades to do so.
Still like zorawar everything in Tejas is imported, isn't it?😂😂😂

• DRDO can do anything in mission mode if research and development is already done so needs to be invested.
• make a initial prototype and make the perfection slowly, a good approach ( makes the critics silent and it should be)

Tanks got killed in Ukarine because they were lost or alone.
Together with infantry and drones, tanks have a good role providing fire power.
It has to work similar to carrier strike group by navy.
All main parts n systems are imported, but still it took 2y n its indigenous lol
1.5 yr. Plus "main parts" aren't the only parts. You need to establish a proper supply chain for every single screw.

Why present a prototype that fails to integrate systems required by the client? The criticism is very valid. Calling it a prototype does not change that.
My criticism is where are you going to add additional systdms? As it srands, the remote weapons sytem, the machine on top, already blocks the right side of commanders sight, my guess would be a 20 to 40 degree arc is blocked. Adding a Active ptotective system, anti-drone system, AND maybe a loitering munitikns launcher on a very crowded turret surface seems like another pie in the sky plan.
My guess is cockerill is driving this design because it has a light turret design to offer. This tank appears to be too much of a Frankenstein to be good at anything but profits for Cockrill.

Arjun will most probably have a secondary role for training and such. I doubt it will be used as frontline tank much.
