Engine development is very costly program .
Here we need around 200-300 light tank .
Were as we need 2000 heavy tank and also need to upgrade T-90 so engine requirement goes upto 5000-6000 .

Zorawar is way better than Kaplan although both use the same John Cockreill turret but the hull of the Zorawar is better and also amphibious with drones

This news is wrong. Many Pubby and Ajit Dubey ji of ani has clarified that Cummins engine has been used not mtu engine.
The news is not wrong, but the engine on the prototype is from Cummins only, not from MTU is something which is right.
They must have supplied the engine.

A powerful & low weighted engine making is just like a challenge as well as u can say that it takes at least 2-3 years of making a normal engine.
The main problem is that now we lacking the technology behind for making a good engine
But wr have indigious engine of about 1500HP ..then why do not make low hp engine for zorawer

The reliability of leopard 2A4,5 is so poor in ukraine that you have reconsider your views on this. We only need high firepower and reliability, not Swiss, German or US- made standards qualities.
