Omg that cookie was delicious! The market was not the typical bristol farms style, felt whole foods/amazon fresh vibes. A great addition to the spectrum.
My mom loved the Bristol Farms in Westchester, fivei minutes from LAX. I graduated from LMU (Loyola Marymount Uni) which is right around the corner from Bristol Farms. She'd only buy a few things from BF, one of her favorite things to buy were the French Pinochet Olives 🫒 , another item she would but at Bristol Farms was ground top sirloin whenever she made tacos. I enjoyed sampling the different imported cheeses, mostly European and I developed a taste for imported corn nuts from Spain ( yes I like regular American corn nuts that you can buy at 7-11 or in the chip and snack aisle of any supermarket) . They first time I ever saw . shallots that were $4/lb at BF : imported from France🇲🇫
@@YellowProductions It wasn't uncommon for my mom and other shoppers to see Lakers Owner, the late Jerry Buss in Bristol Farms. He lived overlooking the ocean 🌊 in Playa Del Rey and would go down to have lunch in the cafë. I had a chance to meet him. I was going to the Kente graduation practice I participated in that the African American Alumni Assoc sponsorrs , I was a little early , so my mom took me to BF to get a sandwich. Long story short, Jerry Buss congratulated me on my graduation 🎓. That was in 2009 , a month later, my mom , a neighbor and I went to the Lakers Parade after they won the championship 🏆 against the Boston Celtics. After the main parade, there was a celebration at the Colosseum and unfortunately, Jerry Buss' health had declined quite a bit and he entered the Collisseum on a motorized scooter and a bit after that, he passed.
I’ve been to Bristol Farms in West LA and it’s a really nice market, although on the pricey side. That one in Irvine looks cool. I’ll have to drop by when I’m down in Irvine again. So cute the little princess said bye bye at the right time on your sign off. 😄
Holy Smokes! You got this up less than three hours after filming! Very impressed! Definitely gonna check this out the next time we head up to OC to go to Disney or Knotts!
When I want to go food shopping the Spectrum doesn’t really come to mind. My 5 year old was talking about how cute the traveling Princess was. She also noticed that the Traveling Princess shirt was blurred out. She said that her dad shouldn’t even inappropriate shirts on her that need to be blurred out 😂🤣
Hah! Your 5 year old is very observant! There's a target at Irvine Spectrum now too.. so actually lots of good essentials shopping.. which yeah.. you don't usually think of a mall for that stuff
Thanks so much for posting this! I had no idea this even existed, I only live a few miles from Irvine Spectrum. Will definitely be visiting this place soon!
Your Absolutely Adorable daughter reminds me SO much of Boo, from Monsters, Inc. that I half expected her to shout out “Mike Wazowski”! This was Delightful!
It would be very difficult to have discipline with all the goodies. 😋Look at all the fruits and greens..but especially and of course the cookies and cake and wow so much goodies. 😂I hope you bought a lot of stuff their. 😆What’s your 3 favorite desserts that you like a lot? 😅
@@YellowProductions You mention cherry danishes. I think have seen some video that you have been to Denmark. Copenhagen. And I know you like good food. What did you think of the danish food? I’m partly danish from my dad’s side. And danish food has always been favorite for me. 😋😋
This would be just a normal market in Japan, and it would be cheap/normal priced, and people would be smiling instead of annoyed looking. This is how every market should be for every citizen in every part of the United States of America, shouldn’t just be for the super rich.

Only Chris can make a grocery store interesting, keep up the good work
Hah. Thanks Phil
Love Bristol Farms! Can't wait to visit this location!
Hitting it up tomorrow! Appreciate you putting up this video so quickly!

Very exciting! We just left Irvine but will be back and June and look forward to visiting this new market.
Awesome Kelly
I am going there tomorrow!
Sweet! It's pretty awesome I think
Holy smokes! What a beautiful store!
That is such a nice market! I really like all the different foods you can get there!
Indeed.. quite a unique market!

She's a UA-camr in training! :)
Wow, next time when we go down south, we will check it out 🤤🤤

Thanks edvaira! Wanted to get this one up quick since they just opened today!
The traveling princess is stealing the show! She wants to speak louder than you! So cute!🤗🤣💞🧚♀️👸🏻
Awww
Wow food prices at supermarkets in USA are so much higher than Australia
This is definitely one of the pricier Supermarkets in the USA

Same here
Gemini actually reccomended this video to me lol
NICE MARKET
Reminds me of Whole Foods. Nice places if money isn’t a big concern.
Indeed. . Although I'd say it reminds me of Whole Foods before it was bought by Amazon.. I feel like Whole Foods has gone downhill the last few years
Thumbs Up !
Thanks Martin!
This looks awesome! I used to like to browse the Bristol Farms store in downtown San Francisco but that closed a few years ago
Ah. Bummer that Bristol Farms in SF closed.
There is a really good Bristol Farms in Santa Monica on Wilshire Blvd. This looks almost the same minus the pizza restaurant
I'll have to check that one out too :)
Your Absolutely Adorable daughter reminds me SO much of Boo, from Monsters, Inc. that I half expected her to shout out “Mike Wazowski”! This was Delightful!
Nice
Chris, just a video idea (which you've probably already made before): Tips for solo travelling 🤔🤔🤔 Like, from zero
that’s stupid
Maybe I'll head over there tomorrow. Is it near Dave and Busters?
Yup! Right across from Dave and Busters -- it's where Sports Authority used to be
She sure seems to find it amusing to say “dad” over and over. ☺️
It's her favorite word! :)
That bristol farms is pretty big.
It sure is!

Hmm. Favorite deserts. Carrot Cake, Cherry Danishes and Apple Strudel

Is this in California??
Yup! It's about 15 miles south of Disneyland
I'm so sad it's closing :(
Me too 😞
They closed this location in early 2024. Guess patrons were not as excited?
Yeah. A bummer for sure. I think the parking was tough on weekends for grocery shoppers
