As a Vancouverite you can spend the entire day here . My recommendation is to take the False Creek Ferry over to English Bay and then walk the Seawall. Great video Yellow Productions!
Chris, this was a wonderful walking tour! My sister and I went a few years ago and had a great time. Life has changed so much since then and this is a great virtual trip down memory lane. She is vegan and we both enjoyed sharing several vegan friendly items at the market. The vegan pierogis were absolutely amazing and one of those foods I still think about from time to time!
Hi Chris. Thank you for the walking tour. Such a great place to sample many different items. I love to try that crispy and braised pork. That looked so good, it made my mouth water., Definitely a place to check out. Thanks again for sharing and take care.
Hey Chris i've been watching your videos over the past 5 or so years and I'm so glad you decided to do Vancouver videos. I'm from Vancouver so it's nice to see the perspective of someone who isnt from Canada. Some other markets in Vancouver I would suggest are the Richmond night market, lonsdale key, new wesminster key, and false creek.
Granville Island was one of my favorite spots when I visited Vancouver. Such a great place. If you're not hungry when you arrive, you will be after experiencing the sights and smells of all the tasty food. Another awesome video, Chris. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
great video ..the smoked salmon is so good at Grenville Island ..was there in 2019 and saw whales just off the dock there ..very cool !!...Granville Island is a must see when in Vancouver !! looking forward to more videos from the wet coast ..!
Now that's my kind of market! I really like the huge variety of places to eat in there. It reminds me of a market I went to in Halifax, Nova Scotia a couple years ago, but the market in Halifax was a lot smaller than this one with less options. I definitely will need to check out this market when I finally get a chance to visit Vancouver!
Great video of a great market. Appreciate you including some prices for reference. The only thing I would have liked to see added would have the tax that applies on purchases there.
Yeah. Vancouver is a really fun city. But no. We didn't make it up in to those mountains.. perhaps next time when the traveling princess is a bit more of an actual hiker and I'm less of her donkey
I used to live right on the seawall next to the water park. I took my daughter to Kid's market every weekend. The Public market gave me sensory overload. They had the best chicken in Vancouver and the bacon wrapped scallops were #1. I don't know if the corpse flower is still on the seawall next to the FCCC. It's been a few decades.
I used to love watching your cheery videos, yet I see you’re not getting many views anymore, and I’ve not had a notification from your channel in almost two years! UA-cam has got to be to blame. Anyway, now I’ve seen this, and your videos should hopefully come back to my feed ❤️
Hi Iliterati. Thanks for coming back! I think the pandemic put a bit of a damper on people watching travel videos.. but I'm glad your back. You'll find two new videos every week! :)
Hi Chris. Granville Island Public Market is nice place to visit but everything(almost) expensive. I don't know why always long line up at donuts shop. Did you took Aqua bus to/from between Vancouver side and Granville Island??
What did you eat or buy from this food market? I have been in one in Copenhagen and I actually spend many days there trying different food or goodies. But my favorite was Italian pizza and apple pie. This food market that you showing in video is amazing and I wanna go there right know. All the berries wow, fresh vegetables..and salmon… and so much good dessert. 😋🤩🍇🫐🍣🥬..🍰🧁The one problem with those market it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and difficult to decide what you wanna eat or buy home. 🤔Way to easy to spend a lot of money there. Gotta be carefully. 😅🙈
Canada calls them provinces.. the USA calls them states. I just consider it a different word for the organizing principle of the first division of a country :)

Great seeing our area from a visitor's perspective. Welcome to BC. ✌️
Thanks Clint! We had a great time in Vancouver and Victoria!
I live 15 mins away but I'm watching this instead haha. I hate myself.
So many happy memories visiting there. Thanks Chris
I love food court! All goodies in one place!
What a gorgeous, fresh-looking market. Your videos make us want to visit every place you feature! 👍⛄🎄

Thanks Shawn! For sure.. we didn't spend the whole day.. but a good half of it on Granville Island
An entire day at the GI Market is insane. haha

Neat Gilberto!

Man, reminds of the time we spent there a couple of years ago. So many choices of different foods and fruits to try.

Thanks Luke! The Richmond Night Market was definitely on my list. But we were there in the off season for it unfortunately
Granville Island was one of my favorite spots when I visited Vancouver. Such a great place. If you're not hungry when you arrive, you will be after experiencing the sights and smells of all the tasty food. Another awesome video, Chris. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Thanks uniplex! That's cool thar you can see whales from there!
Vancouver is on my list of destinations to visit for sure.
Awesome Glenn! We really enjoyed it. And the direct flight from Orange County Airport made it even better

As a foodie you'd like it for sure Scott!
👋😉 Hey Chris hope you have a positive weekend! ☮👉🌎
Hahah I was the person working at Duso's with the blue hair. This video is well shot I love how bright the colours are. You're so awesome. 💞
Neat Cai! Thanks for the comment A
Thanks for your informative Vancouver videos! Trying to figure out where I know you from, you look SO familiar (I'm from SD, too)...
Thanks Majd.. hmmmm..
The bakery at 1:30 is the best in Granville Island. Right beside JJ Bean for a coffee too.
Great video of a great market. Appreciate you including some prices for reference. The only thing I would have liked to see added would have the tax that applies on purchases there.
Thanks Gerry!
I don't think I have EVER seen the market that empty!
I can believe that
Man I miss Vancouver. Such a great place to visit. Have you been to the top of the mountains north of the city?
Yeah. Vancouver is a really fun city. But no. We didn't make it up in to those mountains.. perhaps next time when the traveling princess is a bit more of an actual hiker and I'm less of her donkey

This is a food paradise. It kind of reminds me of pike place in seattle.
Yeah. A bit like pikes place!

I loved the seafood in Vancouver.
For sure Bob!
great video
Thanks Son!
I could easily spend hundreds of dollars if I had the money. Everything looks so good.
LOOKS LIKE A GREAT PLACE
It sure is Linda!
Hi Chris. Granville Island Public Market is nice place to visit but everything(almost) expensive.
I don't know why always long line up at donuts shop.
Did you took Aqua bus to/from between Vancouver side and Granville Island??
We drove to Granville Island. But we also took the Aqua Bus for fun. And so that we could include it in another video :)
What did you eat or buy from this food market? I have been in one in Copenhagen and I actually spend many days there trying different food or goodies. But my favorite was Italian pizza and apple pie. We bought Donuts :). We had a reservation that evening for Peking Duck so didn't want to spoil our appetite.
"Vancouver is in the Canadian state British Columbia." 6:18. 😆. Oops 😬. And how many states does Canada have altogether, Chris? Good video though.
Canada calls them provinces.. the USA calls them states. I just consider it a different word for the organizing principle of the first division of a country :)
Be careful when you walk outside with you plate of food the Seagulls will swoop in and take an entire hamburger off your plate while still airborne.
Thanks for that tip Oldandwise!
Chau is (vegan) vietnamese food, not chinese btw ;)
Don’t you just love those people who wear their masks below their noses. 😂
Hah
@@YellowProductions BTW: I didn’t mean you, Chris, I meant the guy at the entrance to the market. 😀😷
The seagulls will actually carry away your lunch!
Wow!
The most expensive market in Vancouver! It's great for tourists but I don't know how the locals can afford to buy anything there.
You legitimately need to be extra careful with seagulls at Granville Island. They'll attack you for food, no joke.
Thanks for the tip Riley
As much as I enjoy walking around there during the weekends it is a bit overpriced on some things.
I keep thinking you're in Seattle
Vancouver isn't that far from Seattle. So that's a reasonable thought
Those are witch finger grapes!
nice to hear prices of food and nice tour.mkw. near san francisco
Thanks Manuel
