Thanks for making the video. Your tightening procedure is slightly different than the way I was taught by A&P. He suggests to keep it tighter than trailer wheel bearing. In the trailer wheel bearing, we usually tighten with a wrench and loosen until there is slight play. For airplane, he suggests to have no play. Not sure which way is right, but just pointing that out.
The only thing I would recommend is before removing the tire, verify your air pressure to see if there was any leaks. Then remove the valve core from the tire to deflate the tire. This is for safety in case the tire bolts are broken. And I agree with the other comments about to say you are your safety direction was good just the loop on the bottom bolt needs to be on the bottom of the bolt that you're twisting the wire on.
Its always a good idea to change the tube also as they have been stretched and can fold the valve stem area is pron to cracking and only can be seen by folding the stem over also after assembly air up and then let the air out to seat the tube. Condor is a better tire
I think he means your safety wire for your two bolts. The bottom bolt safety loop should go around the bottom of the bolt not the top. The safetying direction is correct "it's not going to come loose " but the tye off is not correct.
Thank u for the knowledge and experience.
good job my friend

Thanks for calling out the socket sizes.

I'm a Pilot and a A&P mechanic.
Don't forget to log the repair in your logbooks to return the aircraft to service before flying.
Always, and thanks!!
From what I could see in the video.
I wonder about repacking the wheel bear as long as it was out??
Where did you get those jack stands?
They are home made and borrowed from a hangar neighbor
😊
Your Safety is wrong.
Please be specific.. I’m all about safety.
