I had a few I liked a lot mostly home cooked meals they used to do it different when you arrived at Ronsevelles and that was my first experience we loved it family style with people from all around the world there was four courses soup, salad, main and dessert bread aplenty as well as wine it was a restaurant in the same building you slept in
I walked the camino Portuguese 2 months ago.. "Empanada gallega de atun" was my favourite meal.. you have inspired me to do the Frances next year. Hi from Brisbane Australia
...your story with Claire and Val says it all... you fall in love with your fellow peregrinos... hard to explain to 'outsiders', but thats the story of the camino... falling in love... with the other pilgrims, the landscape, the sweet Spanish people, the rural smells, and with... yourself, when you're thrown back at your own bare bones, getting emotional, frustrated, exhausted, depressed, and then, somehow miraculously, get lifted up out of it again by some unseen force... the magic of the camino 💖☺ PS. it might be worth to number your camino clips... I got confused more than once to where is the next one... :)
Crystal you are a legend, what an achievement such a physical challenge!! Your traveling companions Clare & Val are such fun!! Vegan Paella yummo lucky you plus all that walking there is no wonder why you finished the whole dish!! The scenery & history of Spain is incredible what a thrill!! The food at the Hotel looked delicious plus so well presented, restful nights sleep! 😴 😄💜🇦🇺🥂
Really enjoyed the video, well done on arriving at your overnight stay. Just love all the info on the Camino, wish I was 20 years younger and could possibly have a try. Have been to Santiago de Compostela twice and loved it. The Cathedral is out of this world. Enjoy lot's of ❤️ love Jim xx
Love this video and being also a vegan, you have to share where this is. Never had paella in my life! Planning my camino for the end of April. thanks for all your wonderful videos. I know it is going to be a challenge as a vegan and being older but will do it ...at my own pace.
Me alegra que estés bien feliz en tu viaje. Es bonito y alegre viajar contigo en esta aventura hacia Santiago de Compostela. Que sigas disfrutando de las experiencias yo seguiré contigo 💕
@@vanhallaadventures I had fresh paella in Galicia - absolutely delicious, I could live on that stuff! - but it was seafood. I don't know if they make vegetarian/vegan...
Oh no! Sorry Jason - did you see the last one? I took a week off to work through a LOT of footage but am back on top of things :) Thank you for the concern! ua-cam.com/video/VZriJaPD2gg/v-deo.html
Nothing like ending a long, hard day walking with a seemingly unsurmountable hill....and some stairs! But, you got 'er done! The women seem like a hoot to walk with, but not fans of hills. Keep going!
Have you walked a Camino? if so, what was your favorite meal along the way?

The yellow flowers are retamas my spanish grandfather used to make brooms with the branches.
❤another great day on the Camino. Making memories. And yet again you show determination to “adapt and overcome” and reach your goal with positivity 😊

It was! I didn’t have enough footage to show an entire meal but I’ll be making a video that complies all my meals later on.

Eating frozen paella in Spain is like breaking the spaghetti before cooking them in Italy 😂. Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Haha I can not wait to try paella in southern Spain (and spaghetti in Italy too!)
@@vanhallaadventures I had fresh paella in Galicia - absolutely delicious, I could live on that stuff! - but it was seafood. I don't know if they make vegetarian/vegan...
I love paella. 👌
Me too 🤗
Frozen industrial rice with bad quality veggies, lot of salt and artificial flaviurs is not a paella and os not healthy. Better order menu del dia
Hope all is well! Worried that is has been almost 2 weeks since your last video.

Gracias for these great videos! You're really bringing the Camino experience to life.
What are the temperatures right now?
thanks Len 🤗 this was recorded at the end of May so I can’t speak to the weather currently.

👍👍
What camera are you filming with?
I had several. Mostly a go-pro but switched to my R6 in a few shots along with some drone footage. But mostly GoPro
Oh Noooo....ended so fast

Are you a vegan?
España no es la campiña Inglesa. Jajaja.
Spain is not the country for vegans 😂
Not this area that is for sure lol. But southern spain and big cities are just fine.
I have written in my Camino guide book - and in very large print - that it is feasible to eat as a Vegetarian while doing ' The Way '.
Yes definitely doable!
