So hyped for when SBR gets adapted. Part 7 as a manga was phenomenal and seeing it animated will make it even better

I've known of JOJO for probably over 5 years only because of the memes. Maybe I will FINALLY watch the anime at some point.

Nah, first time I saw JoJo was cause of some dudes top 10 video around the time only part 1 or 2 was out then I watched an episode, skipped too the last one for some reason then forgot it existed for a few years.
JoJo's also had the favor of being basically ubiquitous in Japan before the anime. So it had really solid background viewership
People need to talk about part 8 more though cause it has the best fights in all of jojos

Ok imma be honest I also like jojolion for its drawings, the "realistic" look but I can't remember anyone or anything that happened in part 8. Araki tried really hard to follow up sbr but I think he needed time to cook

Its a shame that part 7's adaption is going to be such a hack job because the industry can't animate horses to save their lives.
I'm just waiting for the "first half of Part 8 vs Second Half of Part 8" debate. The first half is peak mystery and storytelling. Peaking at Vitamin C arc and pretty much going downhill after Tohru is introduced.

no especially since its a sequel and has selection bias going for it.
I think Berserk is pretty overrated though ngl. It's really good, top 10 easily, but it's got a ton of problems that I think people overlook due to the hype.
Everything after the Millenium Falcon Arc was also just noticeably of worse quality in terms of writing too imo. Even that arc was a drop off compared to Golden Age.
But yeah I think people overrate grimdark stuff all the time.
No, it is literally a masterpiece, sorry you can't see it but it is literally about a man who from birth has had to struggle to gain even the smallest things with great difficulty because the world is conspiring to kick him down and he always, always gets back up 😢🎉🎉🎉 fights on and does what is right... but nah goku go boom boom, eren betrays everyone and bitches constantly bla bla bla
@@alwynjaegar1778 Lost me in the second half boss, no one mentioned those series and the fact you think those are the reasons people like those series makes you look hella superficial.
Thing is, while I agree with you that not all of Berserk is top tier, I don't think it's overrated. Golden Age alone is the length of some full manga and is still well worth the hype. And the post-Golden Age stuff is still consistently good to great.
But let's be real, the main reason even the "bad" arcs deserve the praise is for the portrait-quality art.
@@johndinner4418 the characters are amazing the story is great all the way through but the struggle is throughout the entirety of the story, berserks biggest issue apart from not ending is the lack of a well made anime to accompany the manga

Now part 6 isn’t my favorite but I’d chalk that more towards nexflix’s distribution

@@ashninjago1491 Jotaro gets nerfed harder than Sasuke, Speedwagon foundation is apparently ran by brain dead people now, nearly all of SO is recast after Made In Heaven so who cares what happened to the old characters you spent a season watching.
Feels like GI:Joe 2 where they kill off the original cast, but in SO case it's not because their budget was too small, it was because they were out of ideas. Made in Heaven is just Madara from Naruto; too powerful so let's retcon. Idk maybe it was a budget thing... They couldn't afford a good fight sequence so they let the 7 year old win 😂

Also budget?? You do know this is an adaptation of a Japanese manga that released weekly from 1999-2003
Don’t like the story? Blame the author not the adaptation sure the animation could be better but they leaned more towards the art style than completely overhauling the fights

Pucci reset the universe but left most of the SO characters souls behind so the wouldn’t be reborn but that 11 year old carried Weather Report over where regardless of “budget” BEAT PUCCI’s A$$ cleaning the reset of his tweaks thus giving our characters better lives
As far as we know their names were the same except for Irene because the curse of JoJo’s was ended with Pucci’s defeat so she’d have a happy life without being cursed now

Well, that's because it's not even far into the story... intros are often the most boring because they have to set up the world and characters. I'm pretty sure other jojo parts also had slow starts, but it will eventually spike in quality.
most jojo seasons first minor villain arcs are relatively boring, plus ur only saying that coz of the delay between reading each chapter, if u had a bunch of it in front of u and u could speed through the lesser stuff u wouldnt be whining

You may call it overrated thats your opinion but most people would agree that it really isn't its gotten extremely popular yes and that does trigger people to start hating on it but really SBR is the peak of araki

@@VedanshK Most stands are rehashed and my problem with Part 7 is my problems with part 6 and part 8. Araki writes hyperniche stands that can only be beaten with one specific answer that is achieved in a bullshit way antithetical to his work from parts 1-6.
Stone Ocean is ok at best but contains the most brilliant counter in all of Jojo. C-Moon and the mobius strip was perfect and peak Jojo.
Jojo is about using a conventional stand in unconventional ways and in the first 2 parts about using Hamon in unconventional ways. But now almost every fight is the same slog of word salad because Araki just read an article on string theory or the nueroplasticity of a fucking lemur.
