His varying psychosis are also fun to see portrayed. But Heath Ledger did what very few thought the Joker would be like. Since like 98% of Jokers before Dark Knight were ALL clinically insane the argument could be made that not one of them was responsible for their actions; they're insane. But Heath Ledger's version was just simply an anarchist. He wasn't mentally impaired or saved on ANY way. He chose to be that way. Which makes his character more compelling that a villain who is unhinged due to psychological trauma. Thanos is delusional. Somewhere he actually believed his own theory so completely that it became his obsession. He couldn't stop even if he wanted to. He's basing his whole idea on a plan that he in NO WAY has the ability to predict. Thanos may live longer than a human, but he's not going to live centuries. Now if an Eternal or a Celestial made that same decision, you couldn't accuse them of being short sighted. They literally live for millions of years. They have SEEN that the universe is finite. Thanos' actions were for himself. To make a point that he was right. It was his ego he wanted to hold over everyone.

For six years we had been warned that Loki would one day face retribution for his failure in 2012, and that one day a man would upend the MCU like the storm on the horizon he was. And he finally arrived and was completely worth the hype and more. It was like being a dinosaur watching the asteroid that doomed them arrive.
I had a Captain America screensaver when my niece was about three. When she saw Cap with the beard, she took my phone and went to her room.
