Still the best executed MCU movie. All the characters get their moments, nothing feels forced, and the hardest part: every single joke lands perfectly.
Agreed, this is the culmination of everything before. orchestrated masterfully by Feige. The MCU's finest hour, that judging by the quality of Phase 4 and current movies, will never be matched
Disagree so hard. If anything, it's one of the most overrated. It juggles way too many characters, so much so, that some disappear from the movie for almost half an hour, until they suddely show up again, and the whole movie is just a bunch of meet ups and battle scenes. The movie has no real plot, other than, big bad guy fights good guys to get stones. Endgame is way better.
P.S. Fun fact - The distress call that opens the movie is voiced by Kenneth Branagh, director of the first Thor movie (and famed actor/director in general).
Speaking of Kenneth Branagh, please react to Hamlet (1996), Cinderella (2015), Artemis Fowl (2020), Belfast (2021), and Hercule Poirot (Murder on the Orient Express (2017) & Death on the Nile (2022)).

at 18:30 right after Peter says that it's Tonys fault that he's there BOTH Tony and the Cloak give Peter a look that screams "You DID NOT just say that!"
My favourite thing about this movie is all of Peter/Tom Holland's reactions to stuff (like when Star Lord says "tall guy, not that good looking" when referring to Thor) are genuine because they didn't let him read the entire script since they didn't want him accidentally spoiling things lmao
9:10 - It's the Iron Spider suit. Stark made it for Peter Parker during the 2006 Civil War comics and he used it to fight Captain America. 25:20 - In the comics, the Stormbreaker axe was specifically created for Beta Ray Bill, a cybernetically-enhanced alien who picked up Thor's hammer. Because of his worthiness as a non-Asgardian, Odin had Stormbreaker crafted for Bill and he also inherited Thor's powers and fought alongside him defending Asgard and his own people (the Korbinites).
Infinity War and End Game are my favourite and possibly the best movies in the entire MCU. Infinitely rewatchable, and hands down the BEST theatre experience I've ever had! The silence at the end of this movie was incredible
I couldn't agree more. Although I think Secret Wars will be just as good, if not bigger and better. I also predict that the Thunderbolts will be on par with Captain America and the Winter Soldier. But up to this point I can't argue with you at all.
Haha, I’m glad you noticed Mantis’ mean face! I was so excited for this movie when it came out, yet nervous for the characters in this movie! First Time Reactions on my favorite movies is just something else... Me and my friends usually talk about "Which moment would we like to relive, as never seen before", and that has always been Infinity War and Endgame for the first time! Love the reaction!
Two parter?!?! NOOO!!!!!!! Great reaction can’t wait for part two. My favorite part this far is when Tony knights Peter and tells him he’s an avenger now. Peters face shows so many emotions in five seconds. From disbelief, to happy, and finally the realization he’s about to fight Thanos on an alien planet. All the actors who’ve played Spidey have brought something great and are iconic but Tom Holland in my mind is the most… spectacular Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
Very well said. I always enjoyed that scene where Tony knights Peter, but now I will enjoy it with a new appreciation of Tom's acting chops in those 5 seconds. Thanks for mentioning that. I hope more people see your comment.
Stephen Strange trying to steer Thanos' spaceship: "Hey, this isn't brain surgery, I have to be careful here!" Tony Stark: "What do you mean? It's basic rocket science."

"He DID pull the trigger. He WAS going to do it." Which is why Thanos then said: "I like him." Because Peter had the will to do what was necessary, to make the hard choice.
I say this on pretty much every reaction to this movie... but those of us who knew the storyline from the comics were expecting some pretty harsh moments from the movie (deaths and the like), but watching those first 10 minutes, where Hulk is just put in his place, Heimdall and Loki die, Thor is apparently dead too... after that, we KNEW what kind of movie we'd gone in to. I still remember the utter silence of the audience, aside the short gasps (especially from Loki's death).
Emperor Palpatine: "The time has come." Edit: The Iron-Spider suit is the same one seen in the end of Homecoming, if you remember. Tony wanted Peter to try it on, and the kid declined, having learned his lesson, so Tony gave him back the other suit. Edit #2: Drax's line at 24:43 was ad-libbed, and Chris Pratt suggested that Dave Bautista say it. It wasn't in the script, I don't think, but it fit the comedic timing of the GOTG cast. And it's hilarious! Also, I don't know if you've ever watched Game of Thrones, but that's one of the show's cast members, Peter Dinklage, as Eitri. I remember him, of course, from the movie "Elf" (which Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) directed). Not sure if you've seen THAT before, but if not, I highly recommend that movie. I SWEAR, NOBODY'S SAFE FROM COMMENTING WITHOUT A SCAM BOT REPLYING!!!
I *loved* Wanda's fight against Proxima Midnight. It was so cool to see Wanda use her incredible powers in hand-to-hand combat, especially since it felt like a payoff from all her training w/ Cap & Black Widow between Age of Ultron & Civil War. I'm also glad it was Cap, Widow & Falcon who came to her rescue tbh. Besides Hawkeye & Vision, they're probably the closest thing she has to family: 1) they were her teammates up to the Lagos mission in Civil War 2) they broke her & the others out of the Raft at the end of Civil War
Steve knew to go to Scotland to help Vision because Bruce called him, because Tony told him right before all hell broke loose that Steve could find Vision. He had the phone he saw Tony holding, just about to call (which is a nice touch, the implication is that Tony always carried it and kept it charged), so he called Steve to tell him Vision was in imminent danger.

Looking at the thumbnail, it seems like you had a "great" time with the film 😂 It's very good, I don't know how they managed to pull off integrating so many characters in a single story and gave each one of them enough time so they don't feel forgotten and yet not forced... 12:29 ngl this was like the most genuine reaction that I've ever seen to this scene.... since this was literally me when I saw this in the theatre 💀 And like, they've also managed to fill in a lot of pop culture and Marvel references in general in the movie. Now I don't know much about pop culture, but I do know stuff about Marvel... Like, during the Marvel logo opening, the soldier who was sending the distress signal was voiced by Kenneth Branagh, director of the 1st Thor film and a renowned actor/director in general (Tenet, Murder on the Orient express etc.) And the moment when Loki says "We have a Hulk" that's a clear reference to when Tony and Loki were having a conversation in the Stark tower in the 1st Avengers film... where Loki says "I have an army" to which Tony replies "We have a Hulk"... I personally feel like this was the exact moment when Loki became an avenger, of sorts. I think this might be a stretch, but when Dr Strange arrives and tells Tony that "We need your help." And Tony asks "Who's we?" This might be a reference to the time when Tony Stark approached General Ross (accords guy from Civil War) all the way back in The Incredible Hulk ending... when he was drinking... and Tony approached him with "How about I told you we were putting together a team?" To which Ross asked "Who's we?" Don't know how I missed that one even after watching this movie so many times... 20:02 After this moment, I think Gamora says that "I always hated that chair" and for the next few minutes Thanos is sitting on the stairs talking to her... This a cute thing he did... signifying that Thanos still values her and her opinion, no matter how much she might hate him. And these are only the ones I could catch... I'm sure there's more in there that I missed... Absolutely can't wait for the next part!! This is gonna be epic!!
this movie in particular has some of my favorite scenes because of the different hero interactions. i really liked the short but great interaction between stark and strange (2 geniuses with huge egos hah).. the guardians interactions with thor and stark/spiderman were great. the battle on titan was great mainly because we got to see some of the tricks Dr Strange can use in battle besides just using the fist-y things. (even though he failed so quickly). there was a lot that i felt was a slog in this movie and Endgame but for someone like me who followed all the movies and read the comics back in the day, they did pretty well considering the constraints. I mean can you imagine what it must have taken to have ALL of those big-name actors in one epic movie like this? seems like just making it and editing it would be a nightmare.
Fun fact: the Asgardian distress signal includes stating that they have no soldiers on board. They likely wouldn't of course, because the Asgardian army was only very recently massacred by Hela.
Saw this opening night in a drive in and apparently I waa the only person that new the source material cause i was so excited at the ending while everyone else was so pissed off
Heimdal sent him to a random location. He just happened to be Dr. Strange’s Inner Sanctum. And that Spider-Man suit the one he showed Pete in Homecoming. The Iron-Spider Suit. My fave one!
4:13 That's so cute. Thinking someone is really dead in a super hero comic book related media. 24:17 First rule of super hero crossovers: We have to fight for a bit, but not in a way that any one side actually wins as to not annoy any fans before we sit down, talk and work together.
Tony got the idea to punch a hole in the hull of the ship from Peter, who got the idea from the movie _Aliens_ (and its predecessor _Alien_ ): blow the bad guy out into the vacuum of space.
I love that line and it's true. I got lines I made up myself: You can't be a Fantastic Four if it's not actually Four people & You can't be Guardians of the Galaxy if there's no one to Guard it.
I crack up every time I see Peter's reaction to Starlord saying Thor wasn't all that handsome. It's just a sheer immediate "wtf" did I just hear that correctly reaction.
I'm glad they addressed it, but I wish we had gotten more scenes w/ Natasha and Bruce tbh. I was a big fan of their relationship in Age of Ultron & I would've loved to see that storyline explored further.
best insult to have mentally wounded thanos was by Loki of all people: "you will never be a god" he knew the one phrase that would piss him off, but it cost him
Their odds of winning are better than you think. It's not 1/14,000,000 (some odd), it's 100% if they know what to do, which Strange does. It's like knowing all of the Lotto numbers ahead of time. Knowledge is power.
How about the fact that Thor told Rocket and Groot that he's 1,500 years old? That makes him older than Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow- his fellow OG Avenger friends!!!!
What I love about reactions to my favorite movies is that I can’t experience them again for the first time, but I can vicariously experience it again for the first time through someone else.

An A1, Coulson told Loki that 'he lacked conviction'.
Thanos is nothing but conviction.
You have really become my go-to comfort channel❤️ thank you for being such a lovely watchbuddy
Best marvel movie imho. Just perfection and incredibly complex.
Gonna wait for part 2 to watch this, but still an awesome development. 👍❤
Tony got the idea to punch a hole in the hull of the ship from Peter, who got the idea from the movie _Aliens_ (and its predecessor _Alien_ ): blow the bad guy out into the vacuum of space.
You can’t be a neighborhood friendly Spider-Man if there’s no neighborhood.
I love that line and it's true. I got lines I made up myself: You can't be a Fantastic Four if it's not actually Four people & You can't be Guardians of the Galaxy if there's no one to Guard it.
Waiting for part 2! 🤟🏾
This movie has a fast pace.
I crack up every time I see Peter's reaction to Starlord saying Thor wasn't all that handsome. It's just a sheer immediate "wtf" did I just hear that correctly reaction.
2nd biggest mystery, Ebony Maw the same size as humans, but Tony claims his ship is designed for something bigger
I'm glad they addressed it, but I wish we had gotten more scenes w/ Natasha and Bruce tbh. I was a big fan of their relationship in Age of Ultron & I would've loved to see that storyline explored further.
"I'm excited to see everyone together."
Oh...
and here we go! 🙌🔥🍻 RIP Loki & Hiemdall 😭 and real life RIP William Hurt, he did Thunderbolt Ross justice
He admitted to spousal abuse in 2009 and multiple other former partners claim he did the same to them.
@@DragonbIaze052 and that matters when we're talking about a fictional character he portrayed because....?
@@leonardolonghi3472 Because it was direct praise of the person.
@@DragonbIaze052 I don't see any praise to the person he was, simply one to his former performance in a role...
And, of course, RIP our Black Panther
I remember my jaw dropped and stayed that way for a while after this ended
best insult to have mentally wounded thanos was by Loki of all people: "you will never be a god" he knew the one phrase that would piss him off, but it cost him
Good video! I’m looking forward to the rest.
Their odds of winning are better than you think. It's not 1/14,000,000 (some odd), it's 100% if they know what to do, which Strange does. It's like knowing all of the Lotto numbers ahead of time. Knowledge is power.
Josh brolin killed it as Thanos!
Fun reaction as always Addie.
OMG... I cant wait for Part 2!!
I'm a MCU fan and love all your reactions Addie. Keep these up and I keep saying this, please watch "The Green Mile" as well.
How about the fact that Thor told Rocket and Groot that he's 1,500 years old? That makes him older than Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow- his fellow OG Avenger friends!!!!
I dont care what anyone says. This is Marvel peak
I can’t wait for your reaction to Avengers: Endgame!!
the pinnacle of MCU. Nothing's gonna topple this
SPIDEY SENSES! YOU'RE TINGLING!
We're here! The roller coaster begins
I'm sure someone mentioned it, but he's not getting rid of half of all people...half of all LIFE. So elephants, and fish, and dogs...all of it.
