Happy to see you're enjoying Melbourne life 🙂 Be sure to visit the Western suburbs as well. So many hidden gems. Seddon, Yarravile, Footscray, Werribee, Williamstown
I grew up in Prahran (pra-ran) in the 1970s and 80s. My parents (artist hippies) shopped at Prahran market with their canvas bags. Loved it then, love it now but I miss the old market. My favourite areas of Melbourne, Prahran/Windsor, Fitzroy/Collingwood, St Kilda/Elwood…
Prar - AANE (with Australian very open “a” sounds) first syllable rhymes with Bra, second sounds like the name Anne. Emphasis is on the second syllable.
Another great vlog. You always find interesting or quirky places to show 🙂. Those Hijinx places are fun, they're in Syd and Bris too. You're very close to 10K now!
I Hate repetitive stalls at markets. We got divine tiny sugar cookies at the market we visited on weekend at Redcliffe - a busy bayside suburb of Brisbane.
I'll be in Melbourne this January for the third time to see the Australian Open. I won't have much time outside of tennis - but it would be fun to visit some of these coffee spots that you recommend. Thanks for the good content!
Love watching exploration of Melbourne. As an old Northern suburban boy, Brunswick looks so familar, but so different. Should look into the Preston Market.
Hi Ashleigh how are you coping with this really bad melbourne weather. What I saw on the news like near cyclonet winds. Tasmania has been hit really hard gale force winds torrential rains and some flooding, you got out at the right time. 😊
Ashleigh the marine biologist. My sister had pet blue ring octopuses 🐙in a fish tank in our backyard ,l was about 5 we lived in Leongatha not far from the beach town inverlock in Victoria where the blue ring 🐙 came from.l was told don't touch or dead 💀 l just looked 😮
@@coffeeenut sorry I loved in England for a. While got my tongue around how to say the things they did an got home to be called a snob or ruder on the street because I died know names even to this day i pronounce thing's the English way an I am corrected now even an that's because of the way it's spelt. I lived there in the 80's So sorry if I sound rude.
Love how you pronounce things. I have been here over 40 years and i still say things wrong. I did wonder which market you were going to, you were right, you did not say it right. Can't believe your Aussie partner said it wrong too. Pronounced Perran Market not prawn. Love the coffee in Melbourne. Some places can be off but not many. Recently had coffee in Vancouver and Juneau, both real ugly. Next go rural cities...Bendigo
You finally got to Disciple. I know the Disciple journey from Balaclava and the now sadly closed Bayano the Rebel in South Yarra. Mars and Liam are legends.
Prahran used to be my local area until I unfortunately needed to move out of Melbourne due to a parent with health issues. I do miss my old neighbourhood.
