Nice. I never had a brand PC. Always it was build from parts from different stores to match my needs. It is always cheaper but you need to know what you are doing.
Right on! It's freeing. I think a lot of people would be able to figure out how to do these builds and upgrades. It's very difficult to connect anything wrong. What do you think?
@@thomasfransson To assemble is easy. Difficult is to pick components. My hard drives are from Toshiba and my friends afraid this brand :D And for the GPU there is to much wars online :)
True, even if compatibility issues seem to be a thing of the past. I tend to at least stick with brands I know or have used before. As for gpus I think most of it depends on what editing software one is using? Resolve seems to do quite well with both AMD and Nvidia while Adobe is more optimized for Nvidia and CUDA
What are your render times for things like de-noising? I'm trying to get into video editing just for home videos, but currently a 1 minute clip takes about 2.5hrs to denoise in Davinci, so obviously my system can't really handle video editing. Hoping maybe just a video card upgrade will do.
Ouch, that doesn't sound like fun. To be honest, I've never de-noised any footage on this machine so I wouldn't be able to guess. I might be able to fire up Davinci and make a test later on.
I like how you choose components just what you need nothing more.
Thank you, if it gets the work done I'm happy.
underrated youtuber
Thanks ❤️
Those who only work on quality, stay underrated on initial years...Period...
Great setup with great money to value ratio👍

@@thomasfransson Question. I’m doing Blackmagic 4K and 6K Pro, would this config work or more ram and bigger GPU?
What codecs?
