Just returned yesterday the Remington Balder Pro my wife bought me from Amazon. What a piece of crap. After 3 uses it won't turn on anymore. On shave 2 and 3 it started jamming and pulling hairs. Cleaned and charged after every uses (every 2 days). Bought it because of the stellar reviews it received. Maybe I'll try the brio this time around. If it fails, I'll probably go back to conventional razors. Thanks for the reviews ✌️

Thx for the video. Couldn't find the Brio Raze available anywhere, but the Pit Bull was on sale for 80$ and it's a lot better than the old foil head shaver I was using before.
Thanks. Going with the pitbull. I have been nursing a high and tight and buzz haircut for3 years after an unfortunate trt imbalance that had my hair falling out in clumps. Today all of my male and female friends say I should just shave it off and let go of my former youthful locks. This route will also make uv protection easier, so may as well. Thanks for the honest reviews.
Brio is now discontinued. My top go to right now is the Groomie BaldiePro! It’s the smoothest and closest and best priced in my opinion. Brio hasn’t released their new headshaver coming. www.groomie.club/?aff=2
I picked up the barbasol head shaver for 25 bucks and worked great for months but like most its water resistant not water proof and i used it like it was water proof so now it turns on and off after 4 months of use but still works great and great battery life. I shave everyday in the shower and before the issue it would last all week and would leave in the shower so once it craps out I'll buy another and treat it better. Full price is $45 and with reviews of other brand i will try it again before switching to another brand
I bought the Microtouch Titanium about 2 months ago. Thankfully, I have had no issues (yet). I bought it at a RiteAid rather than online. On average, I use it every 4 days. Works great, I do dry shaves. Ive charged it 3x and it's fine. I know the directions say how you're supposed to charge it correctly. I only say this because had I not seen all the bad reviews, I probably would have just plugged it in like i would my phone or regular hair clippers. The directions for this say to have it plugged into charge cable before plugging into power source. Im about to go use it now, so hopefully I didnt jinx it. Hope this helped somebody.
How short should the hair be before we can use any of these? Sometimes I let my hair grow out like a quarter of an inch before shaving my scalp. Thansk.
I would have said that awhile back but since Brio has done away with the original Raze and coming out with a new one I have really enjoyed the Groomie BaldiePro! www.groomie.club/?aff=2

Good stuff, I started buzzing my head about a month ago and yesterday decided to go full on skin head, and I’m loving the look and feel so far. I did shave my head with a 5-blade manual razor and managed a few cuts and missed spots so I started searching for a simple alternative. You mentioned your favorite was the Brio, do you find that it gives you as close of a shave as a razor?
No electric razor will ever get as close of a shave as a razor. But the idea is to save time which leaves the question, "which one is the closet"? My top two I feel personally do the best for my hair type.
Good rule of thumb for me over the last 5 years of shaving. Use a manual razor for the weekends or special occasions. The foil can be used in between that. It doesn’t get as close as a manual razor but no one will know the difference really. It’s close enough to appear clean shaven. It’s the touch that gives it away to not be a manual razor. I foil with the pit bull gold every couple days and manual shave on Saturday or Sunday.
I got the Brio Raze because of the titanium head, but the back side of my upper neck always gets irritated. I always have to apply Aquaphor after a shave to heal it. I’m gonna try the Pitbull & see if that one is better for my skin.
Tbh iv tryed every one of em and the AliExpress 7d head shaver is by far the best bang for your buck 35$ and a 4 pack of 7d heads replacement is 30$. Had mine for 2 years and the shave is phenomenal
I just started shaving my head 2 weeks ago and bought the Brio based on your recommendation and I love it. Was going to buy the Remington before I watched this video. Brio gets super close and I have no irritation even with a dry shave and even after the first time I’ve ever used an electric head shaver. Thanks for the the great videos, keep up the great work.
This is awesome, thank you so much for doing this. Been looking for a good head shaver for a bit and have had no clue on what to get. Been looking between the Brio or the Freebird.
I’m in the uk.. and it doesn’t look like I can get the brio over here… I already have the brio beard trimmer and it’s an excellent product .. gutted I can’t get the raze to complete the set
Can you use shower gels as "lubrication" while using these? I do understand wet shave with water is perfectly fine. Looking to get my first head shaver soon, hopefully I'll get a great product on the first purchase.🤞 Thank you for this video.
Yes, I use pre-shave oil and then shave gel most of the time for a smoother shave on my head. Just make sure to clean out the heads because they will get more clogged than just dry shaving. Good luck!
The FlexSeries Freebird is overrated. I went through 2 of them in less than a few years. The first one I accidentally knocked off the sink when I was rinsing my head off and it over time stopped working. The second one a few months back started wearing out as well. The light indicator stopped working, so I don’t know when it needs to be charged or if it’s already charged up etc. And then the power button stopped working so I would keep pressing it dozens of times to get it turned on/off but it officially went out on me as well. 😩 I’m interest in the new FlexSeries that came out a few months ago though and I’m interested in the Brio Raze and the Pitbull Skull Shaver. I gotta choose between one of those three. I got a few days to decide before payday. Awesome video. 🤔
Thanks! I would highly recommend either the Brio Raze (Brio is coming out with a new design very soon) or Skull Shaver! Appreciate you watching and commenting!
@bremaster93 I have to disagree with you, as I love my Freebird. I have it for the years, and it has never given me any problems at all shaving my head daily. I recently bought the Freebird Pro and while it had a stronger motor, it only has four heads vs five on the Freebird. That extra head fits my head better and gives me a closer shave. And with the replacement blade subscription, I never have a full blade. Sorry that you didn't get ones that worked correctly, but I'm enjoying mine, and will probably get another to have as a spare. And all of the accessories and carry case that came with it for the $69 that I paid, was money will invested.
@ try to both way but the blades get stuck halfway through . Reading Amazon reviews a lot of people having the same problem, but it did do very close shave on my head . Have very course hair not sure what to try next have to shave every day
I don’t have coarse hair and not sure what else is going to help if the 10k rpm motor in the BaldiePro isn’t cutting it. You could try some other blades for more coarse hair like the Pitbull by skull shaver Carver blade but it sounds like it’s not having enough power to push through the coarse hair? skullshaver.com/products/carver-replacement-blade-for-pitbull-series?rfsn=6907268.5ae244&.5ae244

Have you tried the manscape dome shaver yet? My wife just got me one but haven’t opened it yet. $140! I’m scared to use in fear that it will suck. I was planning on returning it and getting the skull shaver. Any opinion on that?
The Brio was terrible. Bought it after this review, threw it away before I even finished using the damn thing. Had to take out and clean each individual blade before I even finished the shave, and the damn thing barely even shaved. Clean up was awful. I never threw $70 away so quickly. He's right about the black rings being impossible to put back in, but there's no other way to clean the hair out of it.
I’m sorry it didn’t perform good for you. As mentioned in the video the blades are very hard to get back into place once you take them out. If you reach out to Brio I am sure they will take care of you.
The pit bull it’s your best option if you want I good shave expensive but the best head shaver in the market.last a year before you need to change the blades. And 3 years if you cleaned every 2 weeks with razor blade liquid cleaner to clean al does hairs that don’t come out
@@rioscordero1903hmm I got the pit bull and a different head shaver. Hated both, the pit bull kept clogging up and seems to slow down and the battery does not last long. I went back to just using a razor blade
@@coreyheinrich673 usually clogging is a sign that you’re using bad shaving cream or you’re growing your hair out too much. I use my pitbull every day and have never had a clog. I have found I get a better shave only using water.
Brother you can send stuff back. I don't understand why people are so lazy these days they don't take things back. Yeah you're definitely giving away your money. Then again maybe you're not in the US I don't know where you're from.
In my opinion, yes I do not care too much for foil razors. I have not found any to be really, really good when it comes to close shaves in comparison to an actual rotary head shaver
I would go with the BaldiePro. Most shavers won’t give as close as a shave as a razor but it’s close. This might be the closest to what you are after. www.groomie.club/?aff=2
The Remington Pro is awesome! Can’t stop the wife from using it on her legs tho! Now I have to go out and get another and paint it pink or something so she can stfu. They must have everything that’s made for us! 😒
I've been looking into one of these, the only thing that holds me up is i have a few spots on my dome that has pre skin cancer that i get treated by the Dr. speaking to him he says one of these would be ok an not hurt the spots so i may just do it . another great vid bud
After trying almost all available products in the market, I’d say nothing is better than traditional razors. I mean the typical ones. They are reliable and handy
Thank you so much for your head shaver review for 2024. I am a new bald shaver lady who likes a very smooth shave. I am also a beginning shaver. In your opinion how close does the Brio Raze cut? I'm going for 1mm". Can you advise? So far, I have not used a rotary shaver, only straight edge ones. Really appreciate your review.
I am glad this has helped you and thanks for commenting. First off, let me say that the Raze is being discontinued and upgraded soon but I haven’t seen the new one yet. With that said the Raze and Pit Bull will both get you the close shave you are after. There is another head shaver that I didn’t include and would if I redid this video because it is prob my top between these other two and it’s called the BaldiePro from Groomie. I have a couple videos on it on my channel with links. Amazing head shaver and is very smooth! Here is a link, they also have great skin care products and anti-shine sheets that work great! Is This The Best Head Shaver of 2024? ua-cam.com/video/pXFKF8vTGfM/v-deo.html
I can only comment on the Pitbull and the Remington. First up - NEVER buy a Remington. Like MANY others mine stopped working before the first charge was even used up. Total trash. I am onto my second PitBull Platinum now. The first one lasted 5 years no problems and is still working to this day. I recently bought a new one though as the battery life wasn’t what it used to be. The Pitbull is GREAT.
I've been checking out ALL head shavers and customer comments on Amazon about a many of these head shavers and it appears that, a approximately 60%-70% of the customer like this type of shaver, not sure that's a really good ratio. However, when a minimum of 10% of the customers hate it, that's an even worse ratio. My guess is probably all of these head shaver products are made in China and...well, we all understand that particular problem. I'll stick to shaving cream and the HeadBlade.
I started with the Remington, and the battery life was terrible. They sent a replacement unit, but the same thing happened. I most recently tried the Freebird. A much better shave, less irritation, good battery life, BUT the rechargeable unit would die every couple months. Super frustrating. Freebird sent two free units my way, but the same issue happened every time. Onto the next, not sure what to try. Just want something with a good shave, decent battery life, and doesn’t die every couple months. Suggestions welcomed!
I have had great success with Skull Shaver, Brio and Groomie! Cannot go wrong with these! I have affiliate accounts for all of these head shavers on this video so before anyone says I am just saying that because I want to sell for these companies but these are truly my favorites and it isn’t at any extra cost to my audience. Hope this helps!!
I haven't had any issue personally myself and I shave my head all the time and have tried tons of others in comparison. Everyone has their own opinions and you just have to go with what works for you. Majority say it's great.
I have the freebird, it sucks. Battery is awful and a pain to clean, I contacted them they sent me a replacement. It's a piece of junk too. They have 30 day money back guarantee but don't cover shipping back to them 👎🏻 I'll probably just throw it away.
I was gifted the pitbull gold. I've had it for a year and a half and it is the biggest piece of shit I've ever used! Went through 4 sets of blades, which is average, but after 6 months it started screeching very loud during use. other times I would turn it on and nothing. removed the head and replaced again. Tapped it on the sink and it started to work, screeching again. I reached out to skull shaver and got no reply. Don't waste your money on this!!!
You have to oil the blades after washing, like any other foil razor. I’ve had my gold for nearly 5 years and never had an issue. Screeching was stopped by properly oiling it. Also use and ultra sonic for easy cleaning.
From one creator to another, I have some advice: your video is missing one thing… you never SHOW the name of the brands/models! Breeyo? Priyo? Griot? Raise? Rays? You see what I’m saying? A simple addition of text on screen or a shot of the product packaging would give your viewers the most important info on the product… the name!
Don’t buy pitbull / worst service you could get Ending up in destroying the shaver due to giving up trying to get service So I start shitbaid right now. Bastard product, bastard service …. DONT BUY
I bought a freebird shaver. It last me two weeks no one to contact to return. Please be careful gents. Buying these its all BS. No honest people now a days. All about money. Blessings to all🦁

Is pitbull better than babyliss fx3?
In my opinion, yes I do not care too much for foil razors. I have not found any to be really, really good when it comes to close shaves in comparison to an actual rotary head shaver
I like to keep my head hair about 1 to two millimeters what is the best shaver to get? I don’t want it completely shaved
I would go with the BaldiePro. Most shavers won’t give as close as a shave as a razor but it’s close. This might be the closest to what you are after.

Please review on Bombay Shaving company same product
I’ll check it out, thanks!
The Remington Pro is awesome! Can’t stop the wife from using it on her legs tho! Now I have to go out and get another and paint it pink or something so she can stfu. They must have everything that’s made for us! 😒
Glad you like it. My wife loved my BaldiePro so much that she and my daughters bought one also.
I just bought an AIDALLS WELLUP. I guess I will find out if this electric is better than a real razor.
I've been looking into one of these, the only thing that holds me up is i have a few spots on my dome that has pre skin cancer that i get treated by the Dr. speaking to him he says one of these would be ok an not hurt the spots so i may just do it . another great vid bud
Thanks bro! 👊🏼
How the pitbull is charged?
It has an AC power charger cable you plug into it
What's wrong with just using a regular electric shaver?
Just use whatever works best for you. Most have moved to rotary shavers because they work the best overall.
I was hoping to see them shave.
Stay tuned more videos to come on that! Thanks for watching!
Been reading a lot of bad things about the pitbull turning on and not turning off
I use pitbull silver pro and it is pretty good..👌
Leaves hair spots
After trying almost all available products in the market, I’d say nothing is better than traditional razors. I mean the typical ones. They are reliable and handy
They're also the most tedious, and time consuming.

@@BeardedMounjarbro Appreciate your response. Blessings.
In my opinion.. The skull shaver “ Silver” was great!! Got it for 60$ on Amazon!! Perfect for its price !!
I’ve been using the Remington RX5 for 3 years with no issues. Used twice a week, one full charge lasts 3-4 weeks.
The best one happens to be the one you have a deal with?
Well I guess it would be all of the ones on the market! Lol
It does term youer bear
It does trim your beard
You should mention if the shavers are waterproof or water resistant, i.e. can you use it in the shower.
Lucien from Cape Town
Hey! Yes, everyone is supposed to be waterproof/resistant and can be used in the shower or dry shave as well.
@@BeardedMounjarbro much appreciate the response, thank you
I have the groomie shaver it it stops working all the time
I haven’t really heard that from anyone. You could reach out to Groomie. It is possible with any head shaver to have an issue. Sorry to hear that.
The Best shave by a long way is a Wet Shave with a Razor, None of these Machines can match a simple Razor
I have the old Freebird. Not a big fan. Leaves irritation
All of my pitbulls die fast. That's why I'm looking now.
😂😂
Osmo Topcutter?......
Looks like a knockoff from Freebird’s Flex Series 1st generation head shaver
My first headshaver apparently was a knock-off of the Freebird, and will now no longer charge!😢
Won’t lie; the Microtouch Titanium is tempting…
I had the skull shaver was a waste of money.
I was thinking about buying the gold one, how come you hate it?
@@manierod doesn't work like they say and show
Why is that?
I haven't had any issue personally myself and I shave my head all the time and have tried tons of others in comparison. Everyone has their own opinions and you just have to go with what works for you. Majority say it's great.
I’ve had 2 Skull Shavers, both crap. Missed lots of parts and the charge was rubbish.
I have the freebird, it sucks. Battery is awful and a pain to clean, I contacted them they sent me a replacement. It's a piece of junk too. They have 30 day money back guarantee but don't cover shipping back to them 👎🏻 I'll probably just throw it away.
Sorry to hear that! My go to right is the brio, skull shaver and groomie! In fact, I just did a review on the BaldiePro 2.0
@@xlAlchemYlx Never mentioned about oiling, but it makes sense. thanks
I agreed that Brio was good for a week and turned into $ 70.00 junk.
How is it junk? Reach out to Brio for any concerns and they will take care of you. Never hear of these turning to junk.
I definitely don't want a hyper-allogenic razor...
😂😂lead? You mean L...E...D?
The Freebird needs more power.. maybe a couple of features like individual led lights to monitor its charge.
It makes me laugh how beards grow like steal. But head hair is thin and wispy. 🤣
Steel, not steal.
Don’t buy pitbull / worst service you could get
Ending up in destroying the shaver due to giving up trying to get service
So I start shitbaid right now.
Bastard product, bastard service …. DONT BUY
If these head shavers are not good enough why recommend them?
I bought a freebird shaver. It last me two weeks no one to contact to return. Please be careful gents. Buying these its all BS. No honest people now a days. All about money. Blessings to all🦁
You mean android we have had type C for 5 years now. Iphone lmfao
want a cookie?
This is all about adverts. These shavers give nasty irritation and bumps. Forget the names, they are all the same
Difficult to follow with distracting music in background. Too bad. Info seemed good.
