Enjoyed watching. Thanks.👍👍
Thank you so much for your information: evidence based! I will follow your recommendations buying the gold one and then the accompanying accessories, excellent video😊👍
Thanks!
Hello again😊! I live in Madrid, just seen in Amazon that “ the Gold one “is sold out, I have found it in AliExpress🥴: here in Spain AliExpress has the worst reputation, that’s is, so I would be very grateful if someone here in this excellent post could suggest me some place where I could buy the “ gold Pitbull “ thanks so much in advance 🙏🏻👍, best regards from Spain
I got the Gold and eventually got the accessories you have. I am thankful for people like yourself online who have gone in to depth on the reviews as it allowed me to purchase the gold instead of the silver or the platinum. I use the accessories quite a bit and they are very useful. I also use their shaving brush and pre scrub, shaving cream, and post balm. I have been extremely happy with their products so I picked up the Baby Beast trimmer and Beast Clippers. My only complaint is the Beast Clippers dont have a 20mm long guard which is my preferred beard length.
I use the 4 blade Forte shave head. I have tried the Carver and Baron but found the Forte gave me the best shave of the types. I havent tried to use the 3 blade or 5 blade heads. The ease of cleaning the 4 blade has been fantastic.
Thanks for commenting and appreciate the kind words! Also, thanks for the great info! My favorite trimmer has to be the Brio Beardscape V2. Check it out if interested. I have done several videos on it. I believe it’s important to have a great quality tools when you get serious about your grooming. Welcome to the community!!
I bought the Palm model to give it a shot and I’ll have to say I’m more than impressed. I love it to say the least. The battery indicator situation doesn’t really bother me. I just charge it regardless after a couple uses. It charges fast. I’m really impressed with how well it shaved. Before this one o was using a $120 Norelco but the Palm shaver is just as good if not better. Skull Shavers are my shaver of choice now. I can’t wait to upgrade to maybe the gold model at some point down the road. But overall I am really impressed with them!
My Platinum started shutting off after 3 years of heavy use. I just ordered the Gold and hope that it will give me years of use. If you look at the price of blades it saves you money.
Bought the gold one with a 3 year warranty couldn’t be happier!
How much was the 3-year warranty?
how'd you opt for the additional warranty? guessing not through them but through amazon?
I used the Gold Pro for the first time today. Have been using a normal philips shaver with the number 1 adaptor, but as it was a bit of a faff thought of trying this out. Have to say I am not getting all the hype about this type of razor (am probably going to return it and try another brand to see if this is just how these operate or not). Listing out what I did not like: 1. You have to keep going over a spot over and over again and even then you can miss a spot, you end up rubbing so much that your head get's hot and red. 2. you have to have a stubble for this to work effectively, if you hair is slightly longer it will struggle 3. The clean up is no way as easy as shown in all the videos, that blade bit breaks up into 10 individual parts, if you want to really clean it, as if like me you have thick hair it get's everywhere and just cleaning the entire blade adaptor with that bush aint gonna cut it. Once cleaned you have to then carefully assemble said 10 parts back, there is a microscopic indentation on the razor covers to hold them from spinning with the blades, best of luck threading that needle. The 'feature' that says it sucks up the hair is actually a defect that no one has bothered engineering out, given how tiny thick stubble can get you are going to have to clean it multiple times in one use which makes this a not ideal use of time. 4. Build Quality: it is a light empty piece of plastic, the motor struggles when you are busy pushing it into your skull trying to get rid of those awkward spots that just don't go, and you will probably need your partner to point out spots at the back of your head. I think there is a load of hype around these shavers...
Wow. I actually agree with someone. Good job.
Great video bud, I have had the Platinum pro for two years. Pro's as you stated the aesthetics & extra items + the better forte blades. New forte blades just purchased so lasted two years👌 Cons:- usual price (I was lucky & only paid £160 with extras on Amazon black Friday) But again I agree with you the GOLD pro is the ideal purchase & also better as black plastic (my platinum has started to flake off) which I think for the full rrp is a rip off from skull shaver. The very latest diamond pro is stainless alloy but around £500 which is simply ludicrous. Anyway for anyone reading get the gold pro & save £££/$$$ unless you really want a case & cleaning stand. Now I have all the extras I'm tempted to get a gold & keep the platinum for a backup.
Thanks bro! Great minds think alike!
Nice review, been looking at these for some time. Gonna pull the trigger now.
Do you shave wet or dry? What do you recommend for a first time bald person?
Alot of people dry shave and that is fine but if you wet shave it is alot easier on your head for reducing irritation.
Thank you.
just to let you know in australia they do not give the nose trimmer with it
Thanks for the info
can you use it if u have a littel bit of hair do u have to shave first and then use this?
Recommended no longer than 6mm. Or 1/4”
Thanks for your information
just ordered a platinum pro ) used Philips for ten years before that) Let's see if it's worth the money
How did it go?
I thought the Diamond was the top of the line not the platinum?
Great review though definitely considering the gold. I’m usually a razor guy but I get razor burn and it takes a little focus and time to get everything perfect. Hopefully this gets the shave close enough.
The diamond is the top but I didn’t mention it due to the insane price and plus I don’t own one. The ones I mentioned are the most common. Thanks for watching!
May I ask, are the blades and headset on the Gold and Platinum the same please?
Yes, they both come stocked with the Forte 4 Head PRO Blade which is the most common for all hair types.
I’ve been wanting to get one of these for a long time. I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I’m worried I won’t like it and just go back to my razor.
They are very nice. It doesn’t hurt to use a razor sometimes if you want that super smooth shave but if you want a nice close shave and to do it really quick these are very nice. My wife and daughters use the Raze a couple of times a week and sometimes on the road traveling for convenience. They can dry shave so very great option for females as well.
@@BeardedMounjarbro I think I want to try the gold pitbull
@@_beardedbeanie_ Great option man!
So my question is, is it going forward or backwards to go from a razor to this or to a foil shaver?
You will never have as close of a shave verse an actual razor. However getting a close shave and the time saved without the chance of cutting your head makes it a step forward when considering the time saved and razor blade expense. Hope this helps!
Hey, how often do you think the blades need changing? I’ve been using my pitbull platinum for six months, daily, and it’s starting to feel like it’s not cutting quite as effectively (don’t get me wrong, it’s still great, but it makes me wonder about time-to-replacement). Thx!
Recommended every 3 months if constantly in use.

Bruh you can litteraly disassemble the head take apart and rinse all the shavings inside and out and as long as you can see through the blades when you done you can re use it i dump or rinse the shavings off after every cut I during shaving it last all year long
@@Boxer1on1 yeah I dunno who would use an electric razor without cleaning every time, but that’d be pretty lame. They clog fast.
The blades do get dull though, and it’s not like one can resharpen these things. Six months of daily use, they were definitely getting dull. Could I get more out of them? Sure, but the differences was noticeable.
@KarlElvis Natural oils dish soap daily brushes and or Hot water rinses those naturally sharpen the blades and keeps the hair debris from developing a thick coat or layer which does not allow the blade to spin and cut affectiviley so if you maintenance it good enough as you should leave it brand new after every use im telling you they will last year all year if not more you won't have to replace the head every three months that ridicules the blades won't dull out its Japanese steel they are sharp just need deep cleaning
Hi, I had seen on Amazon by USD$100, but then, I look for it on Ebay, and surprise! I had found by USD$39. So, how i know the device is not a fake one?
There isn’t really a way to know for sure until you receive it from eBay.
@@BeardedMounjarbro I picked the Amazon offer with the Baby Beast Trimmer, and a few moments after I placed the order, it appeared an offer with the PGP+BBT+shave cream by same price. I just left my order on, just in case! I am trusting on Amazon it will not a fake one. BTW, thank for your review, because of that, I spent on a quieter shaver, maybe a better one like the PGP. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and absolutely! Glad it helped. 👊🏼
I really like my pitbull’s. I have the silver pro and I have the platinum series. I really enjoy them if you guys are worried about getting one to get a close shave. The best thing to do is get you some liquid shave and put on your head and it will get it a lot closer than without it. I mean it does a really good job job really really close but if you really want to skin bald head use liquid shave that’s my best device to you guys and man. I really enjoy your videos.
Man I’m scared of using that liquid shave stuff. I try to be careful shaving with a razor but always manage to nick myself. I might just splurge on one of these bad boys and try a wet shave to see how it goes.
@@Ishforreal Its pretty safe!
What’s liquid shave
Chapters would be nice.
You got it brother! Just added! Thanks and great idea! 💡
Does anyone know if they have settings for length? Or is there just 1 setting? Bald.
Just one setting. They offer different blades for different hair types and skin sensitivity.
Just got the platinum. So let me get this straight the gold comes with attachments. The platinum just comes with a water clean feature. Dam i should of did my research. As far as performance. None of these things are gonna out perform a traditional hand razor blade.. Harry's or Gillette.
The gold does not come with attachments. Thanks for watching! You’re correct no head shaver will ever come as close as a razor blade. Just minimizes time and possibility of nick’s and cuts.
What do you use to get the great shave you have
I make sure to use only good quality skin products and the best razors that I have discovered. Here are some things I use on constant basis. Note- I usually go over and breakdown what I use currently and have discovered best in my members chats and members only videos. There I answer any questions about what I personally use. @@BeardedMounjarbro thanks allot for you time and advice my hair is thining allot now I am 63 and I am considering shaving all off, it a big step but I want to be prepared when I decide to do it i think the pit bull gold pro looks great also
You bet! Good luck!
Once you go Skull Shaver you'll never go HeadBlade again. It's so much easier and the shave is just as good.
None of these Machines can come close to a Wet Shave with a simple Razor, And your in the Shower or Bath anyway
Costco
Neither of them, buy the brior!!!!
None. All are the biggest pile of junk ever. I’ve had 4 and all 4 have broke soon into ownership. Garbage.
Vos produit sont pas d bonnes qualités mon pitbull silver ne fonctionne plus sans l alimentation...apres une seule utilisation!!tres décevant
