Great review! Was looking at which to get my brother, and you've made it so easy to decide. Following purchase link now!
Awesome! Thank you! Im still using it now, and have used it every other day since the video. Same blades too.
Ha i got one of these yeah its fantastic! I've had scalp micropigmentation done so mainly shave my head by blade in the shower. But when i cant be bothered i use the remington its so fast and does a great job. I use it on my face too, job done in seconds.
Thanks for sharing! I got so tired of going through expensive blade heads. Even from Dollar Shave Club. This thing is a game changer for me and saves tons of time too!
Holy moly Logan, I'm writing a review on the Balder Pro on my other channel, clicked on this video and realized that I just talked to you on Tube Ritual two days ago 😂. Saw your channel's profile picture and recognized it lol
Thanks again for the helpful comments on my post, great review too!
HAHA! Thats pretty funny! I appreciate you man! Hope your video does well. I really need to do an updated video on this one. Maybe Remington will send me the new model!
@@loganreviewsit turned out to be my best video via view count speed 🤣.
Channel is Aberlite Grooming. Lemme know if the Balder Boss is any better lol. The Balder Pro was a bit of a flop for me (compared to the Freebird and Pitbull Gold)
I bought one of these today as I decided to shave my head as I’m going bald… very impressive so far and I can fully recommend
Awesome!! Woot
This shaver is great! No razor bumps or irritation 👍🏿
Thanks for the confirmation! Mine is still great!
What a Great Review.. cheers jay from the UK 😎🟥⬜⬛
Glad you enjoyed it
What other brands have you tried?
I've been thinking about getting something like this, but I have a couple slightly raised moles on my head. I've never used any kind of electric razor that reason. Would this nick them if going over them?
No, I wouldnt think so. The little groves are barely big enough for a hair to pass in. I havent been nicked by this one. The others absolutely, but not this one.
Been using Remington skull shaver for a few years now, I do use a headblade though to take remaining 'stubble ' off , but a great bit of kit.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing! Appreciate ya!
Thanks for the bit on cleaning it.
You bet! Im about to make an update video on this!
I've bought it this month. It's the best and safe way to shave your head. I used hair clippers before but they cut the hair too long. With wet safety razors i cut myself several times and i have two little scares. Only the price of another shaver head of this Remington shaver is expensive.
I love mine for sure!
Good review mate
Glad you enjoyed it!
I know the video is a few months old but was curious if this model the XR7000 is called something else internationally, it doesn't seem to exist in the UK at any stockist, not even Remington's own site. Closest I can see is the XR1600 so was wondering if they changed the model number the same way TV/Stereo etc manufacturers do for different regions or if that's just an older model.
Yeah it seems there is something weird with the model numbers internationally. Sorry I dont have more info than that.
this is the one i was looking for! I was wondering can you use this on mustache and chin aswel?
You can indeed, but it might tug a little on more sensitive areas!
@@loganreviewsit you've tested?
Good review. Are you still having luck cleaning it that way under the faucet? I read a couple comments of people who said their’s stopped working after they got the inside wet, although it is water resistant. Thanks.
Havent had an issue with mine! Still going strong on the first set of blades too!
@@loganreviewsit awesome thanks
Mines stopped working after water on it. It did start working again though after a while
I just ordered a cheap one on Aliexpress, but I don't know if it's gonna do the job with a clean close shave or not. I saw a lot of reviews on the remington ( is it the Rx5 you presented ?) but I don't know for how much time the blades gonna last before I have to order a replacement one, which can cost up to 30€, which is less than the one I ordered, do you have an idea about this ?
Ive shaved my head with this one every other day now for over 3 weeks and Im still on the original blades. Im not sure how long they will last, but they are showing no signs of dulling at this point! The cheap ones never seem to do the job for me. This one is absolutely rocking it though! Just used it again this morning. Build quality is excellent. Also, the shave is as close as Ive ever gotten to a razor clean shave from a shaver. Its not as close as a razor gets, but its VERY CLOSE.
I've had one of these two years wouldn't recommend washing the unit under water even though it says you can mine cut out next time I used it so now I just use the brush
Thanks for the info! I appreciate it.
i'm thinking about buying this beauty i read reviews of it going out within first 60 days i see ur review was 120 days or more it still work like the day you bought it? :)
Been using it every other day since and its working perfectly. Still the same blades as well. Im very impressed. Sorry for the last reply!
What Remington model is that? I don't believe the RX7 is available in the U.S.
This one is the type:R17A, ref:XR7000.
Hi, Which reference for this head shaver please Rx5, Rx7... ? Thanks
Appreciate you !
This and the pitbul gold pro are the best ive used.
Id love to try a Pitbull. Havent had the oportunity! Appreciate the comment.
Is this better than the Pit Bull Pro that seems to be quite popular?
I havent used that one, but this one is working great. Ive still not even had to change the blades yet!
@@loganreviewsit thx.
Question: how did you get rid of the aftershave shadow?
aftershave shadow? Not sure Im following your question.
@@loganreviewsit what I mean is (clear skin) after shaving I could see my beard and head hairline as a shadow although the skin feels smooth with no stubbles.
Ooh. Im not sure thats totally possible. I have blond hair most of which is gone. If you have dark hair you may always see the remnants.
nice
Had the succesor, the rx7, since November.
Started to malfunction a couple of weeks ago - constantly auto-stopping, or rather blocking (as if clocked or over-heating, but it only was an issue when first starting it on a new day after having thoroughly cleaned it the day before). Now it stops by itself after a few minutes, or, more dubiously, starts by itself...
Probably, I suspect, water damage (the latter issue), but then they're advertised as waterproof...
Anybody else have that issue?
Btw, it's a real shame, since I agree with the video: as long as the thing works (!) the shave is really amazing.
That definitely sounds like some form of wiring or power button short. Rekon they would warranty it?

Seems like it, but Remington has rederred me to Amazon since I'm still within six months of buying it, ut haven't had the time to.contact them yet since work has been.stressful and I.sinply can't be bothered in.the evening.
Though I've already ordered another one (hope they give me.back.the money rather than a replacement because otherwise I'd have two ;) ), and the auto-stopping already recurred once... might be an issue with my water, though, because it's incredibly chalky.... (don't even.dare to think about how my insides look for I only drink from the tap ;) )
Is it worth getting the titanium head?
I have not found a need for that. Im sure its a nice upgrade though!
@@loganreviewsit it takes me to a car subwoofer
@@chosen2030 oh man!! There must be something wrong with my link software. Ill get it fixed asap.

Best Head Shaver Remington
Facts!
Freakin sold me brother.
Still use mine almost daily! Same blades too! Thing is a boss! Thanks for watching and getting one!
Can you not get these with different grades
What do you mean grades? They have several models of this same shaver.
Best head shaver on the market. 3 minutes and I’m done.
1000% I have used mine every other day for months now with zero issues. Im still on the first set of blades too! Thing is a beast. Thanks for the comment! Subscribe for more!
In getting confused, other guy is saying this is shit, can someone please tell me if it's good or not
It's good. Best head shaver I have ever used.
Best shaver Ive had. A year later Im still on the original blades too... Its awesome.
Bought thr Pitbull as it is supposed to be great. Returned it the next day after trying it out. Didnt shave much of anytbing. Tried the Andis block after I nicked and cut my scalp in numerous spots, leaving me bleeding all over thr sink using generic Gillette 5 blade refills. Never had a problem with Gillette brand blades but tried to save some money with generic refills?????? Sliced my head open. The Andis block doesn't conform to the bumps and dips on my head so i just save it for touch ups and missed spots after the shower and don't want to get back in the shower to. Shave my head again.
I am pretty much reaigned to staying with shavinf foam and a Gillette 5 blade razor. Mybe ill try the Remington if i can find it.
Sounds like a tough experience, Im sorry its been hard for you to find a solution. Also appologize for the late reply. Ive just seen it in YT studio. It was hidden.
How and where you oil it
All it takes is a single drop of oil on each cutter head. Ive only had to do that once in 2 months so far! Love this thing!
OmniShaver has entered the chat 💬
Omniwho? Never heard of em! lol
Don't forget no electric shaver whether its for your face or head can't be as close as a decent razor blade.
Thats true, its not razor blade close, but its close enough for me not to care. I have to shave every other day, this takes 3 minutes. Shaving my head easily takes 5-10 minutes, and results in other issues like ingrown hairs, etc. This thing has changed my life.
Some of us don't do as well with razor blade clothes. That's why this. 🎉
Very true but personally i get bad ingrown hairs.
Good because a little but of shade is good
Try the leaf twig. The angle of the head will help with not cutting yourself. Twig thorn with the Gillette Nacet gives me a bbs every time. Great head shave setup. If you are a newbie go with leaf twig which is not as aggressive as the thorn.
In your link it is £124 mate. But in two clicks I can get the exact same product for £78...
Where are you seeing it for the lower price?
