As a hairdresser, I’ve been seeing these advertised lately so thank you for the tutorial! I got a tiny blade type piece of equipment recently that also said just to rinse with warm water, however I would advise you to use water, occasionally clipper oil and occasionally a clippercide- and you can get these items at all beauty supply stores.

Had the succesor, the rx7, since November.
Started to malfunction a couple of weeks ago - constantly auto-stopping, or rather blocking (as if clocked or over-heating, but it only was an issue when first starting it on a new day after having thoroughly cleaned it the day before). Now it stops by itself after a few minutes, or, more dubiously, starts by itself...
Probably, I suspect, water damage (the latter issue), but then they're advertised as waterproof...
    Anybody else have that issue?
Btw, it's a real shame, since I agree with the video: as long as the thing works (!) the shave is really amazing.

Though I've already ordered another one (hope they give me.back.the money rather than a replacement because otherwise I'd have two ;) ), and the auto-stopping already recurred once... might be an issue with my water, though, because it's incredibly chalky.... Bought thr Pitbull as it is supposed to be great. Returned it the next day after trying it out. Didnt shave much of anytbing. Tried the Andis block after I nicked and cut my scalp in numerous spots, leaving me bleeding all over thr sink using generic Gillette 5 blade refills. Never had a problem with Gillette brand blades but tried to save some money with generic refills?????? Sliced my head open. The Andis block doesn't conform to the bumps and dips on my head so i just save it for touch ups and missed spots after the shower and don't want to get back in the shower to. Shave my head again.
