I love how we used to have to buy JDMs because they were cheaper than BMWs, Vettes, and Porsches. Now the reverse is true. Sadly a few of the cars listed if you want one that isn't falling apart is still insane. MK3 Supras and GTT Skylines are getting absolutely insane. Ima probably gun for a used; but pristine condition, Maserati GT myself since those are hilariously cheap in comparison, albeit hard to modify for power.
Yeah they are being snapped up more now the GTR’s etc are becoming obscene but I think that bubble has to burst at some point and maybe in the next ten years things like the 3200 and gran turismos will climb in value, I know Porsches are still big money, even the 996 is getting more love
Great video but lets be real...your advice isnt wrong and would work well...7 or so years ago. Now R34 GTTs Cost over 40k US (and rising), Auto supras, same. Starlets Also average 9-14k US (Cheap but considering they were selling for around 2k US in 2017 is wild). Its impossible to get anything good cheap. The only cars that would still be "cheap" are things like Subaru legacy wagons and stuff (cool but undesirable for most). Other than that You're looking at abandoned rust buckets that you can get for $400 but need 20/30k to save lol. Ive religiously been checking japanese auctions since around 2014 trust me when i say ive looked at EVERY POSSIBLE OPTION for a cheap jdm legend. Rust buckets/barn finds are the only options left
