The Perfect Supercar That Failed?
The Honda/Acura NSX is an ICON, few cars have ever been this perfect, so why did it not dethrone Ferrari?
👉 Check out our most popular videos 👉ua-cam.com/video/fe9sUBBgxVI/v-deo.html
The Honda/Acura NSX was a vision of the future of Honda's performance arm. Designed to be lighter, safer, more reliable and easy to drive, the NSX would go into uncharted territory, where no supercar had gone before it. Using ground breaking technology and many industry firsts, the Honda/Acura NSX would stand as the new benchmark for supercars around the world, or at least, that was the plan....

    He won that race in Germany in 1984 in the Merc 190 e against 19 other F1 drivers and I think most of the F1 champions that were still alive. At this point he'd only just got to Toleman. Although more impressed with Reutemann getting 3rd . 55 yr old Stirling Moss beat Prost that day too. Senna won it though , all you can say really given that Lauda won the 1984 WDC and came second. Sadly no Jim Clark, he'd have been in late 40s by then though I guess.

    Racing God JIM CLARK - Unmatched Maestro. By far the Greatest Driver Ever - No doubt. He is and was "The Best of the Best" (Fangio, Senna, Prost, Stewart and countless others about Clark). No other driver in history until today was so superior as Clark - No other driver as so much "Grand Slam" - Pole/Win/Fastest Lap/Leading every lap of the race - like him. And all that from just 72 starts... ! This man is the Olymp of driving - the Michelangelo of racing - a dynamic art at the highest level. So smooth, so precise, so fast....simply out of this world. One, who won in Spa by 5 minutes (!) in monsoon rain with only one hand at the wheel (!) because of gearbox trouble...One, who takes back a complete lap (!) in Monza and back into the lead... One, who took pole on the original 22,8 km Nürburgring track by 9 (!) seconds and more....One who won Indy by 2 whole (!) laps... In 1965 he had the most succesful year of any driver in the history of the sport: He won the F1 World Championship, the Tasman Series with F1 cars, the Indy 500, the British and French F2 Championship, the British Touring car Championship, totally over 50 (!) victories in one season !!!! For eternity and by lightyears unmatched in the sport. That`s just some examples of his mesmeric unique genius...

  • @Gabrielnobre
    @Gabrielnobre 9 днів тому

    About 1990 championship you didn't tell the whole history. In 1989 he was robbed in this same way (Prost crashed him on puporse, but he still managed to win the race and got disqualified unfairly, in the 1990's race they even moved his racing start position to make he lose the 1st position as he lose, but he got Prost even tough).

      @@quattrocam Good to hear it. To complete my post: After being robbed in 1989 by Jean Marie Balestre (F-1's President at the time, Frenchman like Prost), Senna had the Advantage in 1990 (if Prost didn't finish the race he would be champion). Then Senna did the Pole Position Lap one day before the race. Then, Balestre (always him) changed the Pole Position spot to the "dirty" side of the track (the "dirty" side of th track is the line that the cars usually don't use, so it doesn't get the rubber from the car's tires and because of that has less grip). This was made clearly to give Prost the advantage. Senna tried to complain but wasn't heard. So he said: "Nobody will turn the first corner before me"...and so he did it!

    Ayrton was something else… I was 14 yo when he passed and I just remember that deep feeling of sadness when you know your hero is gone, that he is human and that it was his last battle… couldn’t contain the tears and years after I began to feel grateful to my dad for introducing me to F1 and to have lived during Senna times.
