Based on the events of Shadow Generations, Shadow is more powerful then Sonic and actually held back from using his new powers against Sonic. So I'd say that Sonic after Froniters is probably on par with Shadow again.

It's crazy that nowadays sonic and shadow can now scale to their super forms. A basic super form hedgehog at their weakest are planet level beings. The chaos emeralds together have power to move entire parts of the earth and all together, they have enough to move the planet itself or even destroy it. Even in sonic adventure 2, it does seem that even the cannon on the ark would be capable of destroying the planet as well. Then there's the solaris scaling which makes them extremely OP although im not sure if you can fully scale them to solaris due to the emeralds being required to combat some of solaris's powers but i can definitely say that a modern super form should be way way more powerful than solaris.

@russiafart21 you should argue that with Sega. They're the ones who also said it. Meaning they said shadow easily keeps up with sonic..shadow said that he can't out run sonic but he can out fight him. Not being able to outrun your rival is why they're rivals in that feat.

Well that's not really a proper metric. Mephiles distracted Sonic and then shot him in the back. Shadow was on high alert but had Mephiles landed his initial attack in Shadow Gens there's nothing to say it wouldn't have been just as a effective.
Hes not on the level of the original voice for Shadow, but i think he is servicable at least. Nothing spectacular. Would LOVE for Sega to finally change these damn voice actors and make them sound like they did before. Bring Ryan or Jason back dammit!
